Hello friends,

I confirm that I have received the payment, exactly as the Casino Manager told me. They have been very professional in their acts.

I have cancelled my mortgage and wondering where to invest the rest of the money...

Thank you again for your help.

Regards

PD: I do not know if it is better to say the name of the casino or not. Casinomeister can say the name if he consider its good for the community.

congrats on your win and in getting paid

i love hearing stories like this, its not everyday you can pay off the morgage and have some left over for a rainy day

It was Dash casino. That's why I had no worries that this player was going to be paid - and paid swiftly. There was a hiccup along the way when MGS conducted an audit.

Congrats edd4ie!! I hope you spend your winnings wisely.

I understand why Bryan was so sure the player would get paid:D

It seems to have been MICROGAMING that held things up, not the casino itself. It does, though, indicate that MG DO have some minor doubts about the integrity of their live feed system, and must have conducted their audit due to the very low probability of this event happening - just to be sure there was no foul play.

In theory, an organised crime group could have planted a croupier in the casino being used for the feed, and another member (or members) would check the lobby until they saw "their" croupier on the table. There could be a preset signal to indicate to the planted croupier that "their" player was on, and they could then attempt to guide the ball into a specific quadrant of the wheel, this would give the player the edge, and this is indeed a known trick in B & M casinos, often when the croupier gets a little jaded and goes on "auto-pilot". The "signal" might be the player making a specific sequence of number bets with a specific chip distribution - this would not be spotted as out of the ordinary by the local pit-boss, as might hand or face gestures, or even chat. It does not matter how well the live feed croupiers are vetted, it is always possible that someone might slip through, just ask our MI5 & MI6:D (who I am sure vet their "spies" more thoroughly than casinos vet their croupiers;) ).

MGS found nothing amiss, presumably with the distribution of the results, and promptly released payment.

I wouldn't be surprised if a less reputable casino tries this excuse for not paying a similarly lucky player, and how on earth would such a player challenge the claim? (Perhaps this was the reason for the other case involving the $36,000 at Casino WebCam)

Dash? If we had known , we would all have comforted him. Maybe I would have offered him 60% of the winnings in exchange for me to claim the whole amount from Pat.:D:D

That would make a great movie :D

Congrats Mate, good to hear you paid off your house also..
Now lets see how much publicity Dash will get over this probably double there 400,000 payout to you so its a win win really.

player was paid, but...

It's certainly reasonable that the casino conducted a thorough audit of the game play before paying out this fairly substantial amount of winnings. IMO, what wasn't handled well was how the player was informed of this process.

Early on, management told the player that there had been "unusual betting patterns and account activity" and that "the game has not been played fairly." Even if there was little doubt in the end that the player would be paid, these kind of statements created a lot of unnecessary stress while the player waited for the process to play out.

too bad you dont have the winning screen shot ,congrats to you and best of luck.My husband won over $250,000 at casino last year and we bought a second home with it and a boat to avoid the temptations. It is very nice feeling to have something tangible to show for your good fortune.

This does need explaining. Did this come down from MGS, or from the casino? This kind of thing often comes up alongside "bonus abuse", and often leads to non-payment of winnings. To claim that a LIVE Roulette game was not "played fairly" seems rather odd, and is more or less accusing the player of fraud, perhaps in the way I earlier proposed as a movie script:D

In Roulette, there are many ways to bet, but ALL of these are subject to the house edge of the game, even the notorious Martingale system.
Because of confidentiality rules, we will probably never know the reasoning behind this, but it does tell us that MGS believe there might be a way to cheat at their live roulette - interesting;)

Sorry to bump up an old thread but are dash part of 32 red group? If they are I can see why 32 red no longer offer live roulette. I remember I turned 50 into 700 in an hour. The roulette table were so predictable and easy it was like someone stuffing cash into my mouth.
I now play that same roulette table at Canbet. So when I am a bit short of cash, I head over there.
