: NO TRICKS - Here's a TREAT for you! Only from BB's!

Well Blow Me Away Fortune Lounge!

Fortune Lounge/Fortune Room :D has put the money back into my casino account (even though I lost it....?) I do not know what this means, but I will accept the good will and say thank you to Wim for his efforts on my behalf.

Fortune Lounge has also now busted the abusive affiliate, which is hardly surprising now that details of the scheme have become public.

How do you know? Is there a post or press release somewhere?

Are they going to mail an apology to everybody? :D

Many casinos deposit bonuses without being asked; especially a first deposit bonus. If you were really intent on cashing out the $50 from BB, you could have/should have asked to have that $10 bonus removed so that you didn't have to play it through?

I HATE when they do that!!!!!

When I download a casino I want to play, not mess around with uncooperative personell to have a bonus removed I never asked for. I don't think casinos should ever touch your account unless they have your permission, not to take things out and not to put things in.

By the time they take out the bonus , I have lost the mood to play.

What is even worse is when they put it in while you are playing and you don't notice. Happened to me and I assumed I hit something and didn't notice. Well, time came to cash out and I got a very nasty surprise because I had to fulfill a wagering reqirement I did not know about for money I did not ask for or know about.

I was furious!!!!

Ask people when they leave the bank whether they want a bonus or not and link to your T&Cs. It's a very simple page to insert. If you can't get your designer to make one, I'll have it done for you. Geez! My favorite thing to get upset about!

Mary, I think we're at cross-purposes: this relates to the matter of the affiliate offering a $50 sweetner for deposits of $20 or more, "BB" Ezboard or something. This isn't about that spam issue.

Gotcha. Good move on that CPA aff; the site was making my eyes bleed when I looked at it.

This is what happens when casinos encourage CPA affiliates to offer incentives to players to sign up.

Say the affiliate gets $100 CPA (i.e. per person he refers who deposits)

So now the affiliate offers, with the permission of the casino, $50 to every player who will deposit.

The players deposit $20, collect a bonus and play the $20 and the bonus and go home to collect the $50 out of their neteller. Who loses big time? The casino.

So now maybe the casino decides to try to rescue the situation and allows the affiliate to donate the $50 incentive to be deposited in the referred players account - an unusual arrangement to say the least and one demanding full cooperation of the casinos.

So the new player plays that along with the $20 deposit and the bonus and doesn't deposit anymore.

Who loses? The casino.

So now the casino has had it and tells the affiliate that they are not going to pay $100 a head for a $20 deposit. Plus absorb possible winnings and the bonuses.

So now the affiliate has no money to pay the players anymore.

I am not saying that is what happened here - but it sure rings true and has happened elsewhere. Repeatedly over time.

There are a number of variations of this, and usually either the casinos or the players get scammed. Not always, but more often than not this is fraudulent, whether by intent or because the thing blows up in the affiliate's face.

I will leave you to conclude what the moral of that story is.

First time poster running to the defense of BB's JUST like the other forums....wow..isnt that just canny?

What difference does it make if I posted once or a thousand times?
The fact of the matter is that I did receive the $50.00, bonus as promised
by BB without any trouble. I was simply pointing out that not everyone had a bad time with this bonus.
Should I be slammed for sharing my positive experience with this offer?, I don't think so!
The point of these forums is to share gambling experiences both good and bad, is it not? Hardly a nice welcome to this forum now is it?

Lane13, I could not agree with you more. "Getting slammed" is unfortunately a (frequent) consequence of controversial subjects in posts. And from my perspective, as unruly as the discussions on this topic have been elsewhere, you were always pleasant and cordial. I appreciate you and meant to tell you that over at OPU. ;)

The point here really isn't whether BB (I have no knowledge of this person or the entire situation) meant to do the right thing or not.

My assumption would be s/he thought it was a good business opportunity and had every intention of doing it right and making it a permanent offer.
I could be wrong, and it could have been a fly by night scheme, but let's assume the above.

It blew up in his/her face because no casino in it's right mind will pay $100 for a $20 deposit. Probably both the affiliate and the casino counted on players to redeposit and generate more income, which apparently didn't happen.

So the idea didn't work. Now the argument is over who should be left holding the bag.

No one should have to take the fall in this. This should have never happened.

All 3 parties should be too smart to take part in these things.

I apologize for sounding Rude....it was not my intention...but Dave is sending people over to this board and that to defend him. That's great that you got your money....but obviously, this has been pulled ......

No problem SLOTCHIK, Like I said before I did get the bonus, however I don't blame folks for getting their backs up about these offers as there are so many that are not legit. If only these bloody online casinos and people who promote them would just let us deposit and play without jumping through so many darn hoops!
It seems that you almost need a lawyer beside you to read the silly terms and conditions some of these casinos list before you make a deposit. I can tell you that the casinos I deposit at are few and far between these days for that very reason.
No hard feelings SLOTCHIK :)

This is like the most idiotic thread ever...

You deposited 20.00.. You got a 60.00 bonus from the casino and 50 bucks in your neteller.

So you are up 30.00 cash and 60.00 in bonuses.

What are you complaining about?

I LOVE THIS FORUM

I have 7 brothers and sisters living all over the US and I can come here and not miss them so much when I read all this. This sounds like discussions or arguments we would have back and forth:D Gotta love it.
You all have a wonderful Day and for those that celebrate Holloween, don't eat too much candy, dentists don't need any more money. THey got a hell of a lot from me lately.:sniper: :sniper:

No I get it. It was still funny to see someone complain about getting a casino bonus when they were already unknowingly up 30.00.

Big deal about the affiliate thing. It is done all the time. Nothing new.

Dear one, this thread is about a much bigger issue than one person's complaints.
