No response from Inetbet for self Exclusion

Hi its a shame I have to write this but got no choice. I only have 1 casino account open with InetBet and due to personal reasons wished to be self excluded. I did this somtime ago with all other casinos I used to gamble at without problem 32red etc excluded me within minutes no questions asked.

In the past week I have sent 3 emails to Inetbets support, and at least 3 PMS here to the casino rep Emily. The rep has been online within the last week as I checked. To my dismay all my emails and PMS have gone unanswered.

Missing 1 PM is understandable, and even missing an 1 email can also happen. But 3 ? And before anyone asks my email account is not blocked or marked as spam as its the same email I have always used to contact this casino. To test they were getting my emails I sent an email a few days ago asking about somthing else. I got a personal reply within under an hour.

Now maybe they did by mistake misplace all 3 of emails, maybe Emily from Inetbet does not ever check her PMS who knows. But the fact remains I want self exclusion from this casino. So maybe this post will alert them to take the action I am requesting.

I even said in my emails and Pms that this was a personal choice and not a reflection on the casino. However any casino who seemingly takes responsible gaming seriously should take action when ever a person requests self exclusion. As I said its a shame I have to do this in public, not somthing I wanted to do but feel I have no choice.

Inetbet Rep please check the 3 PMS and 3 Emails I sent and close down/exclude my account as per my request (the first of which was made over 1 week ago)

If they haven't, then it is not good at all.....but to be fair, you didn't actually need to make it public. A PM to Max or Bryan would have done the trick I imagine.

Looks like inetbet need to do something about their emails immediately. Saying "we are being blocked" is no longer good enough IMO. Something can and should be done, whether it be changing email servers or getting phone support or whatever.

I've yet to hear a reasonable explanation as to why some emails to one player can be blocked, but others to the same player are not....if it is an IP block as is claimed, it should mean NO emails get through to that player. Of most concern is that the emails not responded to often involve something important and/or something involving a complaint.
 
Hi as I last checked it less than 8 hours ago. But have now uninstalled. And I did ask to be told when the self exclusion is in place. And yes Inetbet did respond to all other emails I have sent but not about this.

There is clearly a FLAW with communication when it comes to this Casino. It's one thing to abstain from implementing another means of Communication but we have a very serious scenario brewing here.

I believe the OP must make this public. If a Self Exclusion is being misplaced and the rep is not responding via PM what other means does a player have? (What if other players do not know about this forum).

We can ask Max and Bryan to assist, but again, it defeats the purpose of the excercise.

Their communication issues and flaws are now treading on irresponsible behavior and going against any responsible gambling practices.

How on earth can a problem gambler exclude themsleves IF there is no response from the REP and the Casino Via email?

This needs to be addressed and I hope Bryan steps up here. It cannot continue to be ignored, they are Accredited.

Bryan is in Dublin at the moment. This isn't being "ignored". Such things never are. I'm in touch with them, waiting for details on the OP's situation.

For Clarity - Didn't mean that this issue was being ignored - I meant to stipulate that their communication flaws cannot be ignored.

Hi Still no response. I did though get an email about the Tempting Tuesday promo yesterday :(

What i dont understand is in my PMS I made it clear this was no reflection on the casino, rather a personal choice. And I was never a big depositor in recent times so the loss deposit wise would hardly be earth shattering. But to give some info on my background. I have struggled with my gambling addiction for years, and the past 12 months have made massive strides in overcoming it. I cant even deposit at any any MG casino as im blocked by the network. So any and all MG casinos even if I tried them I cant deposit. Neteller were great in giving me a life time ban, as were moneybookers.

Also Kanawake gaming comission were really good, it took 2 emails last year and they have blocked me from all casinos who are regulated by them. They were actually really helpfull.

Then foolishly (my own choice totally) a few months ago the only weak link was RTG casinos. As I only ever played really at Inetbet and JP capital when it came to RTG software, I let the urge get the better of me. JPcapital refused to reopen my account :) based on past self exclusion requests again kudos to them. I did reopen my account with Inetbet and it was my choice they never forced me.

But I quickly understood that it could lean to ruin if I continued, i didnt deposit alot a few times a week 20 or 30 usd. But I could read the warning signs. Hence my choice to ask for closure and exclusion. Because of the way gambling addiction works, during the period I was (and still am) waiting for exlcusion I did deposit last week. Not alot but still made deposits. And no im NOT asking for the deposits back thats my choice to deposit. But then I decided to use will power and stop totally even though Inbet up until now have not responded. I didnt want to make this public, but felt I had no choice.

Anyway hopfully they will do the decent thing and follow up on my requests. Either way I have stopped depositing their and am firmly back on the wagon :cool: But if this was a person who was in way way deeper they have to understand that it can cause MASSIVE issues for a person if requests for self exclusion are not carried through. Phew rant over. Back to work.:)
 
Also I want to add as I think its important that they are casinos who do take this subject really seriously and think 3Dice is worth a mention here. I used to play them alot, won lots, lost lots, Self excluded a number of times. It was never more than an hour or 2 usually instant that they would block my account. Last year when finally I decided I need to quit for good I emailed them mid term through a 6 month exclusion asking them never to re-open my account EVER. They replied within 4 hours saying they had noted that on my closed account and would comply with my wishes. Which in my view is exactly the way any Casino who takes the issue of problem gambling seriously should operate.

Im not anti gambling, I belive in free choice, but I also feel that more needs to be done in this area. The Giants of online gambling seem to have got the message in the last few years and are activly working with the different organisations who look to regulate gambling (in the UK anyhow) and impliment practices which will help those who have a gambling addiction to make informed choices. More needs to be done much more, but maybe thats OT a bit. I like this forum, I read it daily, and can do so these days without it giving me the urge to gamble. But one of the requirments to be accredited should be to have clear cut policies in place when it comes to responsible gambling and the issue of self exclusion. My 10 cents.

It's great that you're trying to stop, but you aren't doing everything you can (and I think you know that).

The part that concerns me is that you talk about "people who are in way deeper"....there is no degree of gambling addiction, only the severity of the consequences as it progresses. You are as addicted as they are, but while you see them as "them" you're going to find it tough to accept and recover from your illness.

If you're really serious, you should ask to be placed in the "quit gambling" section by Bryan, or close your CM account. If you don't, I guarantee you will gamble again, and being the progressive illness that it is, you will be closer to being one of "them". You might "enjoy" reading every day and not "feel the urge" right now....but you will. The little demon in your head will make sure of it. It's like being a recovering alcoholic and meeting your mates at the local bar every night.

It's nothing personal. You left a loophole for when you felt like gambling again (deliberately either consciously or unconsciously - that is the addiction) and you used it this time. Unless you are setting yourself up another loophole, then you should email every RTG you know of to exclude yourself and/or get gamblock etc.

Fair enough, but denial is not the issue. Many know they have a problem, but knowing doesn't stop you.

You might be happy where you're at, and that's fine, but I was under the impression that you wanted to stop gambling, and doing what you're doing is a certain path to feeding your addiction and continuing to gamble. Still, it's your life, and I hope things work out for you.

INETBET wont answer my emails either

Wow, no response from Inet, I am shocked.:rolleyes:

I have emailing INETBET for several days. I have been an affiliate with them for years and never had issues getting answers to my questions but since the start of this week I have sent several emails and no one will answer.
I tried their support and manager emails. Nothing!!!!!

Not sure what is going on with them. They have had small changes over the past year or more so I am not sure why they are going by way of other online casinos...UNRELIABLE. I hope thats not the case. They have always been up front and the best online casino. :confused:

On May 21st, doomed replied to a post in this thread at 8:50 PM, he stated that is has been less than 8 hours since he last logged into his account and it was not closed. So I think there is a good chance that you are looking at the wrong account.

I for one am so tired of hearing "we did not receive any e-mails". I can see not getting one, but this player has sent 3 e-mails and 3 seperate PMs to Emily. Surely your not saying you have not received 1 of the 6 attempts to contact you...IF you are saying this, then it is time to rethink the possibility of adding live chat or a phone number to reach this organization.

For clarity purposes, Doomedforever, can you let us know if you have received a message stating that Inetbets inbox was full? I am pretty sure you didn't receive one of those message, because if you did I am sure you would have stated that in one of your posts.

Lastly, Doomed, I wish you the best of luck in your fight with this addiction, and truly hope you stand strong, and when the urge seems to get you, make some calls and get to the people who can help you through it. There is no shame in asking for help when you need it, and when the urge is gone you will know that you have the strength to over come it. It is a big step admitting you have an addiction, but it is a bigger step to ask for help in fighting it.

Hang in there, we are here to stand behind you and help in anyway we can.

I sent a PM as requested. Now we'll see if anything is done and if this fails also, I agree about the live chat or phone number mentioned here at this thread. If the email systems for INETBET are that unreliable its time to look into other ways for clients of INETBET to contact someone....anyone.
 
Hi if you say its closed then that is fine. I can not check as I removed the software so will take your word for it. I would though like to know at what time you closed my account on the 20th as that was the date of my last 2 deposits for which I still have the recipts.

I also have to state i had no replys at all from your CS on this issue to any of my emails. All other none related emails were answered. I had no bounce recipts at all. And have used the same email for a number of communications to your cs over the past few years.

I also did not get any bounce replys from the PMS i sent here to you.
Of course I am glad that my wishes for closure have been granted but have to say your companies view on responsible gaming needs a serious rethink. No subject other than loosing can cause more negative feedback than that from a player who wanting and requesting exclusion finds that this has not been done and there fore keep depositing. It can and will only do long term damage to the overall image a casino does or does not hold.

Well Inetbet answered my PM. Unfortunately in responding to their PM I got the following:

iNetBet Promos has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.

So I must not be the only one having issues with emails being answered and everyone is trying to get to them through PM's.

INETBET.........I have a response so clear your message box out so you can get it!!!!!!!
