    So its the final day of the Chinese New Year Holidays and I wanna have a flutter at a couple of RTG and MG casinos. Ecocard account is now empty but cant fund it as banks are closed. No sweat I thought as I was due to have a small amount credited to my ecocard account from an accredited MG. I was unpleasantly surprised to log in and discover that the full amount was sitting in the active balance though when I logged out my active balance was 0.01 as is normally the case with the rest being in reversible mode in the cashier.Live chat told me there were no records of my withdrawal requests for the said amount and said that I had been reversing my withdrawals since the 19th. Unless I have Alzheimer's disease (which is luckily not the case) I am pretty sure that I submitted the w/d request 2 days ago and as I wanted to take advantage of some promos today I wdid not reverse them especially since this MG has a 48-hour pending period. I have already sent a pm to the rep but this should be too late to ease my itchiness.

    Then I remembered that I had deposited at another MG where they sent me a promo with my username stating that if I lost the previous week my account would be credited with a cashback on 24 Jan and that this cashback was based on my losses the previous week. When I saw no cashback I enquired with support and was told that the cashback was given at discretion based on several factors. WTF! The promo never had this as a term and seemingly indicated the cashback was a mere formality.

    Luckily I could still bet on 11 horse races but this ended a short while ago.

    Deceptive marketing if it was advertised as a "mere formality" based on losses.

    Canbet used to offer 20% back on all slots losses the previous week, and this WAS a "mere formality". Pity the new owners decided to let the casino wither and die, rather than putting in the energy that the previous owners had.
