Hi newbie here wanting some advice please a casino has admitted there in the wrong by reopening my account when self excluded and have offered to refund the difference between deposit and withdrawals that I made during that time is this a good outcome?

So you wouldn’t be at a loss? Sounds like a fair result if you have cashed out a lot? which casino was it allowed you to open after self exclusion? Would you give them the withdrawals back if they asked?

I had contacted their cs to enquire about opening an account on one of the sister sites while I was self excluded from others which they had told me I couldnt do but then proceeded to tell me I could reopen the ones I had closed some of which I'd shut for 5 years and I played on them for 5 months before they reclosed them and is it OK to name them?

Also still have one account open on a sister site of theirs which I still play on not sure about se rules etc they know about this account and let me still play on it is it normal to request what accounts can stay open when self excluding on others? Regarding paying back withdrawals if made to I'd have no choice

On the surface this seems pretty fair. I would consider yourself lucky. Some casinos would just give you a "speak to the hand" response. Imagine trying to get away with this in a land based casino. :D

Yep, definitely a good offer. You lose nothing. You may even have gained - a lot won’t pay out winnings if they find an active self exclusion.
