Just wanted some opinions from experienced players on which games to play. Only been playing on off last 4 months, but playerd quite a few different slot games and im not sure if just me but some don't seem to offer any reward. Let he give some examples.

    Good Games:

Terminator 2: One of my fav just simply because it feels like one of few games that if you activate the bonus round you actually win something, i like the random T-vision too. One thing i will say is you can plough hundreds in this and not hit bonus round, but play with £10 and hit it 3/4 times within a 100 spins.

Jurassic park: Kind of enjoy the game, but seems more about the gimmicks in the background, doesn't seem to pay anything for normal paylines but bonus round is good.

John Wayne: Probably most fun game to play and defo my fav bonus round feature.

Frankie Dettori: Frustrating game, but the two bonus features are worth chasing, and normal paylines are ok, only thing with this game it doesn't seem to have a big payout bar that x77777 which has anyone ever hit ?

These probably games i enjoyed from my short time playing, but the game i dislike most is AVALON, it seems to be impossible to get a good payout from this game, the bonus round is very hard to hit and even when you do payout level is very poor.

I play mostly at 32red, & the bookmaker sites like Betfair,Willhill, coral etc...

Just wondering what software/games people advise to play for small stake players, the chances of winning a decent amount are small i know but it's a crap feeling playing games you feel are not even teasing you.

First of all, you're off to a good start playing at bookies sites and 32red.

Most of the time I wouldn't go anywhere near the likes of Jurassic Park or Terminator.
They are very high variance and can eat your balance in minutes (frustrating).

Lately I have been playing a lot of NextGen slots, mostly Medusa, Unicorn and 300 Shields.

Just remember, that you are not going to win all the time. Slots are fun, little bit of excitement after a hard days work,
but personally I am always going in to have some playtime, never expecting to make money ;)

"Dead or Alive" on NetEnt. Can easily win well over £1000 for £0.18 bet in a good bonus round.
Plus it's very low variance and gives loads of wins to keep you playing for a long time on a small balance

Most people here would say it`s a HV bastard of a slot.

I honestly don't believe that. Isn't high variance "big wins less often" and low variance is "low to medium wins more often"?

Now which of those does Dead or Alive fall into? I realise the bonus game can pay spectacular wins so could be called high variance, but the base game itself belies the notion of high variance.
In my opinion of course :D

I played in 6 month more than 250000 spins (mostly 0.27-0.45) and I can tell you that this slot can suck you dry in no time.

Of course there are sessions with a long playtime and you think: Wow, big hit potential and long playtime, best slot ever created:thumbsup:

    BUT:
For your big hit and your long playtime there are a lot of players who only feed this monster. And sometimes it`s your part to feed the monster. And then the variance is very high.

I'd agree. I'd consider DOA to be low-med variance in the base game. But very high variance in the bonus game.

I can get, at least 3-4 hours play from a deposit.

It's just a matter of setting your stake at the right level for your starting balance. i usually allow for a balance variation of about 200-300x stake.

so, if i had £100 starting balance, I'd play at 27-36p the majority of the time, occasionally going to 45p or 54p for maybe 50 spins max at a time

I kind of see Valhalla's point. It feels lower variance, but actually it's one step forward two steps back.
Plenty of small wins, but there's no escaping the (mostly) inevitable bust. It's just eating the balance slower.
