Hi Gang:

I just want to know if any MG casinos got the the new version of LOTR already?

I read about that this slots is available in ladbrokes today, but could not find it.

Please let me know if you have seen it.

Thank you in advance.

Cheers

:p there is 24 hours on the 5Th just like any other day:p

For your eyes only...

The Lord of the Rings™ is a revised version of the game launched last year, and this version is being launched on the 5th of September.
The revised version has some new thrilling features, including a progressive jackpot and a fabulous Gollum bonus feature.

And the biggy just for you  Please note that this revised game is going to replace our existing LOTR

My friend fowarded me a link on ladbrokers site:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Got screenshot of the "wheel of two towers"

And date is 5th of Sep 2011 I believe not 2012 ;-P

I sent an email to 32red and asking the releasing date of this slots,
the support staff said the date is not decided yet.

So that the ladbrokers will be the selected few get the new released if above news is true.

Cheers

Of course its 2011 :p I'am talking about time difference, It is fairly early on the other side of the world where Ladbrokes etc are hosted. So you have to add around 12hours or so before we may see the game updated in the Microgaming software.

From the Ladbrokes link you posted is a bit more info ;) Interesting!!!
Players of the existing version of The Lord of the Rings™ will be pleased to know that the majority of the games original features have been retained, including 243 Ways to Win, HD cinematic spins and the Free Spins feature, triggered when 3 of The Ring symbols appear anywhere on the reels. In addition The Lord of the Rings Wild symbol can be stacked.

Also this part, Gollum can randomly award additional Free Spins, increase the Free Spins Multipier and award random prizes such as making an entire reel WILD!

This means the free spins are tweaked and we no longer get that 1 random wild reel.

But how tweaked is it, will we see less stacked wild wins because the RTP has been lowered for the progressives and new bonus features, time will tell I guess.

"increase the Free Spins Multipier", so I am interested, what is the start Multipier, x1, x2 or x3?
You can get much much bigger hit if Multipier is involved.

Hi Guys,

The schedule, if all goes to plan, will see the game released in the 32Red Flash Lobby at 1pm (UK Time) and it will be available in download shortly after. I will post as soon as it's live.

Regards,
Mark

Just played it at 32 red.. sucked $100 pretty quickly.. managed 2 bonus rounds, both 60 cent bets - one paid $47 and one paid $6, lol.. Honestly, I think they would have done well to make the changes they made without making it a mega moolah game. The new stuff is fun and the graphics are great, but because you are also feeding the jackpot (and let's face it, as a player who typically bets 60 cents, how often do you think I'll get a chance to spin the wheel) the payout is low. It's now a game I will play when I'm well ahead instead of the game I absolutely always start with... I'll miss you, LOTR :(

I think MG has to raise a bit payout, but I do see the potential to hit big, the payout is a bit low IMO. I rather play ISIS JP which had better wins if lucky.

cheers

Tried it there at Ladbrokes. £150 gone in no time at all, betting £1.50. Got FS once, 18 spins in all and won £10.30 - all wins coming from random Gollum wins rather than reels. Not a single win came in during FS.

As if tLOTR wasn't high enough variance already, they go and stick a mahoosive progressive Jackpot on it. Well done MG *sarcastic clapping* you really have surpassed yourselves. :puke:

Well you know, someone has to pay for the license fee, development costs for the new design etc, so probably not much RTP left :p

Just played for a bit at Platinum Play, results the same as most here. I do like the new graphics with Gollum though.. "Mithril" Jackpot is cute, LOL

What's that new monkey slot? Seems like i cannot see it at any new games. I also noticed Rhyming reels renamed to Rhyming reels - Hearts & Tarts. Not impressed though by LOTR, it's cold like a stone on payouts and wilds.
