Well. This thread I'm afraid stems from some misunderstandings and miscommunications, mostly on my part.
I think what I was trying to imply earlier was that it was clear to me that a number of MMs had experiences with this casino, as well as others, and I was hoping that these experiences would be added in the Meister Minion rating forums. This way I (or Dionysus) could transfer those comments to the official reviews.
The Casinomeister reviews are essential here - they are NOT just my opinions, but YOURS. Many Meister Minions are playing at loads of casinos - posting experiences here, but not in the MM section which eventually end up in the official reviews.
Examples:
Here we have a number of MMs participating:
Videoslots Casino ️ : Best Online Casino 2018 - Casinomeister Reviews
Bitstarz has none:
Bitstarz Casino ️ Trusted & Updated Info | Casinomeister® Reviews
Fun Casino has none:
Fun Casino Review: Now Accredited Casino!
And I am sure there are a number of Minions - at least five of you - that have accounts there and that could offer a valid opinion.
I certainly don't expect people to deposit on my behalf to do a review.
What I may do is send x amount to volunteers via Paypal in order to do a review. If you win anything - keep it. Perhaps this is a solution - but then it's something else I need to manage.
As for listing casinos in the grey zone - we need to list as many as possible mainly to feed the
C2O data base that you folks should be using. It's a free tool that gives you information about a casino's status at Casinomeister. If the casino has no review (Accred, GZ or Rogue) it's not going to appear there.
Concerning not announcing these casinos unless they have a rep is a valid point, and I think that this will be a requirement in the future. I just need to emphasize that they are
not Baptism by Fire candidates. IN fact, some casinos are ineligible - like this lot.
When I saw your PM I gave a review the best I could, having not played there and knowing I won't. My experience with Jumpman is terrible due to their affiliates constantly spamming and the individual casinos doing nothing, and jumpmans DPO totally ignoring any emails. If a DPO ignores legal requests then good luck getting anywhere if there is a problem when they have your money. There was nothing else I could write, then it sounded as if the one liner I wrote wasn't good enough, but anything else would have just been bluster, as there was nothing else to say.
I don't have an account at Bitstarz, I don't have an account at Fun Casino. The way things are at the moment I rarely sign up at new casinos, as the places I play at now are trustworthy and have all the games I need. Admittedly there are casinos who don't have loads of data that I could review, and will do so, but I'm moving house at the moment so will have to be in a few weeks.
I get where you are going with 'you don't need to play there to give a review' but being honest, theres only so much anyone can say without signing up. You don't really need 20 MM's stating it accepts debit cards, skrill and paypal, has PlaynGo, Netent, Blueprint, site looks ok, UKGC license etc. That can be done by the person who's doing the review. What's important is do they pay quickly without problem, do the games work, does live chat work in the hours stated, do support know what they are doing etc. None of that can be done without signing up and playing. I also get that you want to have as many casinos in the database as possible, so that you can have a full list and where they stand.
For the larger clone groups, where all the casinos are exact clones, use the same support etc, could you not maybe have a group, and have people review from within there, then you have data and as every casino are operated exactly the same, the review can be identical too. For example Aspire Global, they are all 100% identical. They share support, they share back office staff, share payment processing teams, verification teams etc. I'm sure a lot of people will have played at one of their properties at least. You could group them all together and probably get 10 x the reviews you would have by having 50+ casinos all listed separately. If by chance one casino in the group doesn't operate exactly as the others, that would be apparent from the reviews and could be separated if required?
As for Colin, I think his ban is a bit harsh, yes calling Dion a prick was obviously OTT but Colin was clearly frustrated and he was the only one out of everyone who read the thread who actually went to the effort of spending his money and taking the time to properly test the casino and feedback the rubbish experience he had there. Dion's comments haven't exactly been non inflammatory at times, and although I don't think he meant them in the way they were took, I do think they could have been taken wrong. Like this one
'fwiw - id take a handful of Harry's insights over a 100 in many case'. When I read that I thought, well screw you too, just get Harry to do all the reviews, what are you asking anyone else for their opinion for if thats the case? In hindsight I realise thats not what he meant, but on first reading thats how it came across to me. As Col was already frustrated with the casino he was trying out because of this thread, I can completely understand why he would snap. Col's hardly a trouble maker, I don't think I've seen him post anything similar in all the time I've been here. Ultimately, him trying to help earned him a ban, in my view.
