Here's a stab at reviewing the new slot games at Intercasino this month.

Overall:

The two games, Spider-Man Revelations and Dragon Sword have some new features.

The games open in a new window instead of the small frame of the casino app. The window can be resized and it looks really good maximized on my widescreen laptop monitor.

The autoplay system has been upgraded. There's an advanced button that gives you extra options for stopping on win or loss totals, free games, jackpots, etc. You can go up to 999 spins.

There's a game speed button in the corner that gives you normal, fast, and very fast options without having to go to the settings window. Very fast is basically click the button and see the result. I preferred the middle speed.

During the free game features, the controls are replaced with a display of your multiplier, the number of games played/remaining and the total winnings for the free games. You see the amount of each spin's payout in the paid field, so it really gives you all the information you need.:thumbsup:

The paytable opens in another new window which is really convenient too. For a new game until I learn which symbols trigger which features, it can be confusing. This way, I can open the window while I'm playing and refer to it until I remember what everything is.

I think some of the other games have been changed to this too. Bejeweled and Millionaire's Club for sure. On to the new games.

Spider-Man Revelations:

The graphics in the main game are pretty good. There's a softer feel to the colours that I like-it's easy on the eyes.

3 Scatters (the logo like most (all?) Marvel games) trigger the feature. On any reels. Thank you for making the game this way. I prefer that to some games (see Dragon Sword below) that make the scatters left to right only. They're 'scattered' for %@#^ sakes :axeman2::D

You get 5,000x for the top paying symbol. It's the substitute/wild (Spider-Man). Spider-Man, the logo, and Doc Octopus are all animated and up to the usual quality of this group. No change to the Marvel jackpots. Still 3 of them, won randomly but now there's another game feeding the pot. I've hit the smaller ones in the past and it's a nice little bonus when it comes in.

The feature is Spider-Man against Doc Octopus on top of a train. The graphics and animations are pretty impressive, but how it plays is important too. Doc Oc grabs a passenger from the train and you get offered free games and a multiplier. You can turn it down and try again. It seems like anything over 15 games you should take regardless of the multiplier. The next prize can be lower and the way it works lets you add in a little of your own strategy.

The first time I got the feature, I picked up 25 games at a 4x multiplier. It retriggered twice for a $116 payout on at 0.50 total bet. The next time I got it, I could have had 12 free games with a 5x multiplier and threw it back. I wound up with 5 games at 2x. They really make you think about your choice here.

Dragon Sword:

Dragon Sword isn't a branded game and doesn't have a jackpot, but it looks good and has both a free game feature and a pick-em bonus game for cash prizes. 6,000x for the top payout. Other payouts are tripled when there's a wild symbol in them. Good graphics and 3 animated symbols like most games at Inter. My only real criticism is the left-to-right scatter thing. I don't like it :puke:(see earlier comments). Everything else here is really good. The main game payouts seem a little tight, but with two features and re-triggers allowed on the free games, something has to give. If you can get a couple of features within the first 100 or so spins, it can be a good day on this game.

In my first bonus round, there was a big range of prizes. On a 0.50 bet the prizes were 1.50, 4.00, and 50.00. I found the golden sword with one of my picks and that tripled the prizes for the round so I wound up with 166.50 for a 0.50 bet!

I can see this game having dry spells where you just can't hit. I can also see it paying out very well when you go on a run. I played 60 spins to get my first bonus game. I upped my bet to .05 per line then I played another 140 to get one more smaller paying feature and finally the free game feature. Overall I made good money and played for about 45 minutes on this one.

I think both these games are very good; Kong is a slightly better slot game, but the new features and presentation on these two games is top notch.

I missed out on the screenshot, but I just hit 3 re-triggers on King Kong for a $240 free games payout on a 50 cent spin. I still like the new games, but how I can stop myself from going back to last month's Kong release over and over with those kinds of hits? I wish KK was released in the new window format (or at least I hope that they upgrade it soon).
