NEW ONLINE CASINO DUE LATE SEPTEMBER

Established sports book to expand into online casino activities

The Isle of Man-based and Malaysian owned sportsbook Ascot Sports will be expanding its online gambling offering with the launch of an online casino on 25 September.

Ascot Sports (IOM) Ltd is one of 12 Isle of Man licensees granted a Bookmaker's Permit and Restricted Betting Office Licence under the Gaming, Betting and Lotteries Act 1988 by the Isle of Man Gambling Commissioners.

Tan Sri Dato' Seri Vincent Tan has been the chairman of Ascot Sports (IOM) Limited since its incorporation in March 2005, and is ranked among the top 15 wealthiest individuals in Malaysia. He has appeared on Forbes list of the world's wealthiest persons and is currently the chairman and CEO of Berjaya Group Berhad.

Ascot Sports does not accept US clients, and this policy will presumably carry over to the new casino venue.

I want to try their sign up bonus offer, but I'm not sure if I can trust them. Did anyone have any experience with this casino?

    It's a RTG software casino.
Malaysian owned sportsbooks have a long history of bad reputation.
    Play with caution at Ascot.
Why not choose inetbet or CW accredited RTG casinos at CasinoMeister?

They should be okay - I've met the operators recently in Macau, and they are looking at joining up here.

Being from Malaysia, I don't think there is a problem with this casino at all. I personally have met their CEO before and I doubt that he'll be leaving anyone high and dry anytime soon. He's one of the nicest guys I've ever met, being so wealthy yet so humble.

Don't be fooled that you're in bad hands being that the owner is from Asia. He has quite a few establishments in Malaysia which is worth more than MYR 1 billion in total and that's at least USD 300+ million. I doubt that anyone who actually has that kind of money would cheat anyone who could win at their casino.

Plus, he's unlike a lot of other casino/sportbook operators out there who hides behind the mask of the Internet. He even dares to put his name in writing and dares to tell you who he is and what he owns. Do you think such a person who would tell you everything about himself actually dare to cheat anyone at all? Wouldn't that be a little risky and a little dangerous?

As far as I am concerned, there is NOTHING to be afraid of in playing in this casino or at Ascot Sports. All the best to everyone out there who is playing there. Good luck!

CM, here are the bad guys from Malaysia in the history:
    Pointbet
    AsianOdds
    game2bet

Ascot bailouted the Pointbet, I doubt they are connected. Ascot has spammed Chinese gambling forums. They pay slow and find excuses not to pay big winnings.

If you want to play at Asian operators, go to wofacai casino and dafa poker, which belong to AsianLogic. Dafa poker bonus is better than other playtech skins (500 points for $10 bonus, is the best, a lot of reloads too.).

I heard good things about their sportsbook and not so good about the casino.
AFAIK they are seperate entities, but you can transfer your money between the 2 wallets.

My goodness!!! Please get your facts right before you start accusing or complaining.

1st - Pointbet is owned by an Indonesian, which is someone from a country called Indonesia. Ascot has NEVER had anything to do with Pointbet so stop associating them with Pointbet, I personally lost money with Pointbet and I'm not too happy with anyone telling me they are associated coz if they were, I'd have most probably go hunting with my lawyers.

2nd & 3rd - AsianOdds & Game2Bet is again not associated with Malaysia. As far as I could see/tell, they are a group operating out of Costa Rica. If that is where Malaysia is, then perhaps you might want to check your map for the correct location of ASIA.

As for the spam, I have not seen/heard anything about it so I can't comment much on that. As for slow payment, you're basically the 1st person whom I have heard that is complaining about that. Where did you ever get your reports from? As far as I'm concerned, a lot of my friends are playing there and they are quite prompt on their payment and always do keep to their word on when they will be making payment.

Are you seriously knowing anything? Do you have any substantial fact calling Malaysia a lousy country? Do you know anything about Malaysia at all? Someone who could actually associate Indonesia with Malaysia is surely/seriously not right somewhere. It's just like calling Canada & America as 1 country and saying that since America banned Online Gambling, Canada is also associated with the ban and should not be trusted as well.

MY GOODNESS!!! Please know what you're talking about before talking. It makes you sound stupid when you do it without thinking or knowing what is what.

Chill, bro. He did not say any of those things, please don't put words in his mouth. You need to calm down.

Furthermore, you don't actually believe that AsianOdds is actually owned/operated by a Costa Rican, do you?

As far as I have problems with Malaysia itself, I don't really appericiate people talking bad about Malaysia itself. Furthermore, he did mention that those are the BAD guys from Malaysia. Far as I'm concerned, none of the above names that he mention is from Malaysia.

I'm sorry if I was a little harsh on him but yes, I do have problems with people who actually talk bad about my country however bad it might be inside. I'm sure it's the same for anyone at all no matter what country they come from.

I don't see him talking bad about Malaysia either. I do see him saying that Malaysian-owned sportsbooks have a history of problems - there's a big difference. There's no need to take it personally - he isn't talking about you or your fellow Malaysians.

That all being said, I also know the Ascot guys and I have no reason to believe that they are anything less than honest.

aodat2, I apologize that my words offend you. I got something partially wrong, but I insist that Ascot doesn't have the good ethics. I have banned ascot on my websites because of the spams though I warned them many times.

My accuse is not about the country. Malaysia is one of the best countries in the South-East Asia. Actually I like it best. Ascot owner is a Chinese Malaysian. I am also a Chinese. I hope you feel comfortable now.
