New Deposit methods - very innovative

Why is there not a "UKASH" style solution in the States? Where you buy a voucher for cash, and type the unique number into the casino software to get your chips?

There's a PHENOMENAL opportunity for someone Stateside here I feel...

I would love to know if any Democrats have been fighting for on line gaming to stay in the U.S.?? Anyone know?? Because I never heard of any. Both parties are corrupt and if it was a Democrat as president he would have signed the bill to.

I was not talking about the players, but about the businesses that would accept the cash and process the payments.

I wrote to the Dems in my state about this issue months ago, and got the canned reply that included words like Homeland Security and supporting the Boogeymen (aka terrorists). The one Rep I wrote to just to see, was the same stuff but included the family values speel..

I am sure that when someone comes up with a logical plan to track and tax the money from on line casinos, and can show how much money has been spent outside the US and why not keep it at home, on line gaming will be back.

I agree either party would have signed the bill. This is very upsetting. After the kids have gone to bed my wife and I love to sit back and gamble. It's fun and relaxing especially in your own home. Now we are down to one deposit option click2pay.Soon that will be gone. No more gaming in the U.S.

I wonder how the casinos will do when the we, The U.S.players are no longer. I called newyork casino last night because I could not remember my account number it has been months since I played their. He said your accounts are no longer available because since sept. we no longer accept U.S. players. Then he went on to tell me since this, things have not been going well at all because the U.S. were 50 percent of the business they lost.I can just see now how this will affect all the casinos. who will last and who wont.

Harrahs who is buying up casinos left and right
Ummmm....Harrahs was just bought themselves. The paperwork hasn't been finalized, but for all practical purposes, Harrahs as we know it now will cease to exist by the end of the year.

Time to start looking for a vacation home my husband and I have been talking about. Instead of California I've decided on Canada! LOL

Might have missed this in another thread, but here's what I got from C2P:

Quote:
Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for contacting the CLICK2PAY Service Team.

Due to the existing US legal situation the decision has been taken to
not accept any new sign-ups from US players. Please respect our decision
in this regard.

Kind regards

K.Winter

Bummer

The people whining about Bush know that the dems would do the same thing. They are:
1. Dems who take any opportunity to bash any Republicans
or
2. Foreigners who hate Bush because he went to war.

The dems are just as bad.

More of an LBO by management and 2 private capital companies. Loveman will continue to run the company which he wanted to take private in order for his future business plans to not be subject to Wall Street scrutiny per se. What tree might his future plans include climbing that a private company would not be subject to shareholder's and analyst's immediate need for quarterly gratification??????????? Of course, the company will become highly leveraged in the short term and will have to sell off certain assets. I predict Rio will be the first as its value may never be greater than now due to the WSOP and a Caesars sale (not a salad) would greatly reduce the debt burden. Certainly, Loveman knows a future venture into online gaming would be an investment that would not produce the immediate quarterly results that shareholders require but the long term growth potential is expontential and more suitable for a company not under pressure to produce quarterly earnings growth, etc. Then perhaps ironically just like the Frist family has done once and in the process of repeating with HCA, the money will be made long term when the company known as Harrahs goes public again.

MO on the current state of the online industry for the player is Caveat Empoer(SP) as it will be survival of the fittiest and liquidity issues will change the industry as it known currently.

True, I posted something similar a few posts back.
