Full Tilt Introduces New Deposit Method MyWebATM

Many members of Full Tilt Poker's mailing list were introduced earlier this morning to a new method of deposit/withdrawal. Many in the industry had heard rumors of new deposit options in the wake of the Neteller trouble, and it appears the new options are beginning to surface.

Responding to the problem created with the shutdown of Neteller, Full Tilt has decided to endorse MyWebATM as a secure new option for deposits and withdrawals. The site links your online poker account to your personal bank account and simplifies withdrawals by mailing users an ATM card. The MyWebATM card can be used by any ATM which supports CIRRUS, which is accepted at virtually any ATM in the country.

Upon signing up, the service requires users to provide a very detailed set of information, including name, social security number, date of birth, address, home phone, email address, and driver's license number.

Fees have been a concern with newer eWallets such as epassporte, and MyWebATM also has its fair share of charges for its users. They include:

Schedule of fees

Monthly service fee: $3.95
ATM transaction, domestic: $2.50
Declined ATM transaction, domestic: $2.50
ATM transaction, international: $3.95
Declined ATM transaction, international: $3.95

Card-to-card transfer: $5.00
Card-to-ACH transfer: $4.00
PIN change: $0.00
Account inquiry: $1.00
Replacement card: $9.95
Currency conversion: 2%
Funding from credit card: $0.32 + 3.70%
Funding from bank account: $2.82

The card limitations are as follows:

Card Activity Limitations {Daily/Monthly}

ATM withdrawal (up to 5 transactions / day): $500/ $9700
ATM deposit (up to 10 transactions / day): $2700/ $9700
POS debit (up to 25 transactions / day): $1500/ $9700
POS refund (up to 10 transactions / day): $2700/ $9700

Card-to-card transfer, credit: $2700

Full Tilt assures that withdrawals will be fast, easy, and secure and available within a few days. Hopefully, MyWebATM will provide a convenient and reliable option for poker players for a long time to come.
I sure hope that Netspend keeps working. Those fees are outrageous.

Thanks for the info

winbig, I found this on the NetSpend corporate site:

"If you use your Card number without presenting your Card (such as for a mail order or telephone purchase), the legal effect will be the same as if you used the Card itself. For security reasons, we may limit the amount or number of transactions you can make on your Card. Your Card cannot be redeemed for cash. You may use your Card to access cash at an Automated Teller Machine (ATM). You may not use your Card for online gambling. You may not use your Card for any illegal transactions."

Was wondering if, and how, Netspend works.
I'm assuming this is a semi-secure thread. I recall netspend t&c said no gambling. Didn't want to mention this in open forum. Still haven't got my card in the mail, so i won't be using it.

I want to apologize for all the false start card threads I posted, should have done it by PM to get other's input first.

I'm not gaming online (charting, confirming, playing, but not gaming) so why am I here? OLG is my obsession.

I was lucky, got almost all my money out before the debacle. Dumb luck.

We're either all f*cked or we aren't. I tend to think we are not fucked in the long run.

thx for keeping the thead off the indexes Meister

Any person that would agree to the fee structure posted by jetset above, needs to take the Compulsive Gambling Test here: you pass this test, you must truly hate money...continue @ the MyWebATM website...Please post a trip report!

Some other fees not listed in jetsets OP.

Administrative Fees
Account balance inquiry - $1.00
Replacement card - $9.95
Permanently close MyWebATM account - $25.00 * Note that there is no fee for keeping a MyWebATM account open with a zero balance.

$25 to close an account (FU)....NETeller has essentially closed US accounts for free. (I didn't even have to ask)

MyWebATM account fees, compared to Epassporte's $35 card fee.

Lots of rumors about MyWebATM on the net since Full Tilt recommended them. But there is not alot on Google about MyWebATM. SEC filing mentionings: Not as a separate company, but as a product of a company called Fluid Cash. Curiously, FC appears as either a Florida (

) or Pennsylvania (

) company. FC entered a joint venture with EyeCashNetworks in 2003. Looking into ECN's history is like a study in the dot com bust. The last 10-KSB they filed was 2004.

Lots of talk of MyWebATM being based in Panama City, Panama. I could not find the source of this information myself. It is possible it was on their website prior to my visit there, and since removed by the company, due to bad publicity? On a side note, didn't George Bush Sr., go in and 'arrest' the president of Panama a while back? I see the company as mentioning Van Nuys, California, multiple times on their website. I am curious as to how they going to get around ACH/EFT rules being based in Cal.. Documented wins in the state of Cal. over 600$ you have to pay state taxes on.

Questions about the security of the MyWebATM website. There is no lock on the browser screen. The website is in https:.

You have to do a credit check and give MyWebATM your Social Security number to open an account.

Neteller is / was, regulated in UK, publicly traded, reliable and data-secure. MyWebATM is none of these.

I never had to give Neteller my SSN (IIRC). Neteller used microdeposits to verify and confirm that I actually gave them a valid checking account that was really in my name. PayPal does this also, does not ask for SSN. Same with IGMPay (IIRC).
Why does MyWebATM need any more than this. (in this market as a USA based player, yes - I'm paranoid and pissed)

We will disclose information to third parties about your Card or the transfers you make:

* Where it is necessary for completing the transfers; or
* Where there has been unauthorized use of your Card; or
* In order to comply with government agency or court orders; or
* If you give us permission, which shall automatically expire forty five (45) days after our receipt of your authorization; or
* To our employees, auditors, affiliates, service providers, attorneys or collection agents in the course of their duties.

If we do not complete a transfer to or from your Card Account on time or in the correct amount according to our agreement with you, we will be liable for your losses or damages. However, there are some exceptions. We will not be liable, for instance:

* If through no fault of ours, an ATM or a merchant refuses to honor your Card;
* If through no fault of ours, you do not have enough money in your Card Account to make the withdrawal or purchase;
* If the ATM where you are making a withdrawal does not have enough cash;
* If the terminal or system was not working properly and you knew about the breakdown when you started the transaction;
* If circumstances beyond our control (such as flood or fire) prevent the transfer, despite reasonable precautions that we have taken;
* There may be other applicable exceptions.

MyWebATM has pretty much covered all the exceptions. LOL

Not all services described in this Agreement are available to all persons or
at all locations. We reserve the right to limit, at our sole discretion, the
provision of any such services to any person or in any location. Any offer
of a service in this Agreement shall be deemed void where prohibited.

Isn't 'aiding and abetting' the funding of online gambling accounts prohibited in America, and the State of California?

Except as expressly provided below, any controversy that arises out of or is
related to (a) your Card; or (b) any service relating to your Card; or (c)
any agreement or instrument relating to your Card or any such service; or
(d) any breach of any of the foregoing, whether based on statute, contract,
tort or any other legal theory, in which the aggregate amount in controversy
for all claimants exceeds $15,000 including interest and attorneys' fees
(any "Claim") will be settled on an individual basis by binding arbitration
under the Federal Arbitration Act ("FAA"). Judgment on the arbitration award
may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Any dispute regarding
whether a particular controversy is subject to arbitration will be decided
by the arbitrator(s). If any part of the damages or other relief requested
is not expressly stated as a dollar amount, the controversy will be a Claim
that is subject to arbitration. You and Bank acknowledge and agree that the
transactions contemplated by the Card, and any controversy that may arise
under or relate to the Card or the services or this Agreement, involve
"commerce" as that term is defined and used in the FAA. The arbitration will
be administered by the American Arbitration Association (the "AAA") under
its Commercial Arbitration Rules (the "Arbitration Rules"). We will tell you
how to contact the AAA and how to get a copy of the Arbitration Rules
without cost if you ask us in writing to do so. The Arbitration Rules permit
you to request deferral or reduction of the administrative fees of
arbitration if paying them would cause you a hardship. Any in-person
arbitration hearing will be held in Van Nuys, California, where our
employees and records of the Card are located.
- CONT. -

I seriously doubt that they would have any assets for online punters to collect in Van Nuys, California. Did they Google (NETeller + DOJ + arrests) before they signed with FULL TILT Poker.

Each arbitrator shall be a licensed attorney who has been engaged in the
private practice of law continuously during the ten (10) years immediately
preceding the arbitration or a retired judge of a court of general or
appellate jurisdiction. The arbitration award shall award only such relief
as a court of competent jurisdiction could properly award under applicable
law, including attorneys' fees if allowed by applicable law or agreement,
and may award to the prevailing party all pre- and post-award expenses of
arbitration. All statutes of limitation, defenses, and attorney-client and
other privileges that would apply in a court proceeding will apply in the
arbitration. The filing of a demand for arbitration in accordance with the
Arbitration Rules will be deemed the commencement of an action for purposes
of any applicable statute of limitations. There will be no class Claims --
Claims by or on behalf of other persons will not be considered in or
consolidated with the arbitration proceedings between you and Bank.

The Card does not limit the right of you or us, whether before, during or
after the pendency of any arbitration proceeding, to exercise self-help
remedies such as the right of set-off or to obtain provisional or ancillary
remedies or injunctive or other traditionally equitable relief (other than a
stay of arbitration) necessary to protect the rights or property of the
party seeking relief pending the arbitrator's determination of the merits of
the Claim. The taking of any of the actions described in the preceding
sentence by either party or the filing of a court action by a party shall
not be deemed to be a waiver of the right to demand arbitration of any Claim
asserted as a counterclaim or the like in response to any such action. This
provision in which you and Bank have agreed to arbitrate disputes will
survive the termination of your relationship with Bank, whether evidenced by
this Agreement or otherwise. You acknowledge that you have read carefully
this provision in which you and Bank have agreed to arbitrate disputes. You
understand that this provision limits or waives certain of your rights. With
respect to claims that you are agreeing to arbitrate pursuant to this
provision, you understand that you are waiving your right to bring a court
action and to have a jury trial. You understand that there will be no class
claims in arbitration. You further understand that discovery may be more
limited in arbitration than in a court proceeding, and the right and grounds
to appeal from an arbitrator's award are more limited than in an appeal from
a court judgment. In addition, you understand that certain other rights you
have in a court proceeding also may not be available in arbitration.

This court would be the same court that issues judgements and handles disputes between drug dealers and mafia turf wars? ...ROLMFAO

If US banks stop accepting transactions from MyWebATM, and MyWebATM fails to pay US customers. How are US customers going to access their funds if the STAR ATM network cuts them off?

Since Full Tilt recommended MyWebATM, lets look at FULL TILT Poker.

"To fill everyone in, we plan to have withdrawals available through MyWebATM by Thursday. Could be sooner, could be a few days later." can deposit at Full Tilt w/ MyWebATM, but not withdraw, through MyWebATM.

100% bonus up to $600.00, when you make your first deposit with Fulltilt through MyWebATM.... Nice bonus, but I think I will pass for now....CHEERS!

FULL TILT Poker check policy:

Checks may be requested for amounts $300 or greater up to a maximum of
$10,000, and can be requested only once every 7 days.

If you would like Full Tilt Poker to send you a check, we must
first verify your account information. Please email or fax us a clear
and legible copy of your photo ID along with proof of address. The name
and mailing address on your ID must match your Full Tilt Poker account
information. We accept the following forms of ID:

Photo ID: Driver's License, Passport, Government-issued ID, or Student

Address Verification: Bank or Credit Card statement, Utility Bill, Cell
Phone Bill, Home or Auto Insurance papers

You can email these documents to us at or fax
to 1-877-TILT-FAX. Please use a resolution of 400 dpi or higher when
sending your documents and make sure faxes are clear and legible or
will be asked to be re-sent. If you are using fax, make sure to include
your Player ID on all pages.

Once you are verified for checks, you will need to request a cashout
through the Cashier window. Approved checks are delivered by regular
mail in 25-35 business days.
(Regular mail takes 25-35 Fu*king days, send the checks by courier pigeon. It would be faster.) At this time, we regret that we are temporarily unable to deliver checks by UPS to US residents.(Uuuh...what about FEDEX, DSL, Burlington Air Express, etc.) We are working speedily to have this option available to US residents again soon.

I have never given my personal documents to a poker room, I am not going to start with a FULL TILT. Casinos yes (reluctantly). If FULL TILT wants my respect and documents let them have the courtesy to request them before they accept my deposit.

When these I Gaming companies accept player deposits, but give these bullsh*t answers for withdrawals, it makes me very angry. If we as USA based players are dumb enough (or are addicted to gambling, so much) to take the risk in this fluid market to gamble with these companies, and then lucky enough to win. THE PLAYERS THAT ARE TAKING THE RISK (and supporting the sites)....SHOULD GET PAID...NOT MESSED WITH - UPON CASHOUT!

It seems to me as though FULL TILT is only interested in keeping deposits flowing into FULL TILT with MyWebATM.
