Netspend Problems?

    nOT A BITCH OR COMPLAINT.

    Just wanted to know if anyone experiencing difficulties with deposit. I made a depoosit about 7:30 pm tonight and it did not register.. First time this has happened and first time I threw receipt away :confused:

    I ran into that a couple of times in the past. Unfortunately it takes a week to have the money released back to your netspend account if it was under 100.00 and thirty days if it was 100.00 or over. I had to wait the full thirty days. You can't even have the merchant contact them or else they will know you used it for gambling purposes.:eek:

    I'm 100% sure, Netspend is fully aware that people are using their cards for gambling purposes.

    The question I'm wondering, Is why they still allow it to happen, Not that I'm against it by any means but I'm just curious.

    I remember about a year after Netspend came out and I was using It all the time, I noticed my account was locked on the website and I then called them to ask what was going on with my account, They rudely asked me If I was using the card to gamble with.... I told them I was purchasing Item's online and they unlocked the account and I took my money out from an ATM and never used It again.

    Stovetopp, are you saying it didn't register from the place you loaded the card?

    If that's the case, without the receipt you're out of luck. Try calling the store and
    see if they have a record of it.

    I never leave the store without checking to see if it's been posted to my account.

    Hope you can recoup it.

    You are fine that has happened to me a couple of times, you just need to go back to the place where you loaded the money. Today hopefully, and the girl entered your card numbers wrong. They will fix it they have a register of all the netspend loads for the day. I would at least call them today and make them aware. It has always been fixed for me the very same day.

    Well, thank you all here is the story and it ended well if you don't want to read the
    details

    I usually reload at a cash checking store and when you get the receipt they always show the balance.
    But late at nights , I usaully go to the supermarket and they usually give a recepit but no balance.

    Anyway after coming home and discovered that the funds were not forwarded , I called netspend and they informed me I would have to call the store. I went back to the store and the cashier told me it was sent and to call netspend as usual
    Anyway, next morning went back to store , the girl showed me the receipt telling me it was sent and to call netspend
    I saw the manager of the store, he gave me the home office number, Called there and after several transferring to the right dept was able to tell my story.
    Finally, they called back and admitted it did not go through and to go back to the store
    and get a refund or redeposit
    So all went well. but from now on will try and avoid store unless they can give a balance
