So I go and get a Netspend card and am finally excited to play.......guess what? It doesn't work!!!

It kept on getting rejected at 2 different casinos and I couldn't understand why, then I noticed there are 4 extra numbers on the card, I called Netspend and they said this first card is only good for ATM purchases not online purchases.

WTF???

Now I can't even do a moneygram because it's after 10am, now I have to wait until tomorrow to play.....I should change my name to "just no luck"

It says "all access" on the front. :(

That is the only store we found that even carried them, I live in a small town, and even our surrounding towns don't carry them.

I really need to move!

That's what I use is the Visa All Access prepaid cards .
I haven't been able to use one for the past week at Villento or Firstweb .
I have been able to at Inetbet , Lucky Nugget and Riverbelle .

Don't feel alone

It seems, at least with microgaming, they have added a new feature to credit card purchases... it says "your card is being checked for Secure 3D, blah blah blah".

Either way, I cannot deposit using prepaid anything or a credit card anywhere. I suppose that's why they are pushing EcoCard accounts. Personally, I'm too tired and old to sign up for anything else.

If the casino's want American business, they need to devise an easier deposit method like Bodog did with NUcharge.

You got an all access Visa (or mastercard) ATM card.

You need an all access Visa (or mastercard) prepaid card.

The packaging looks the same, you have to carefully read it and if it says "atm" don't get it.

You don't want the one that is issued from 'Meta' Bank either.

Make sure it's issued from 'Inter National'

hmm.. mine says meta bank and it worked at one casino. i only tried it at one casino but that was the flash version not a dl version. I got my netspend card directly from the website because I wanted to make sure if I went thru the trouble of getting one it would work. The only bad thing about it was that they deducted 10 bucks for some fee and another fee for loading it. either way i dont think I will reload the card to use online. but its cool to have a semi bank account backup for direct deposits or to put my gambling money for land casinos that way I dont dip into my regular accounts.

the card with the four extra numbers on it is a temp. card, you will get the real one in the mail within about 7 days. - the one with your name on it. that one can be used at casinos. i am not sure if you order it online how long it takes to receive. i got a temp one at a check cashing store - they had a promo going on and i got it for free instead of the 9.95. i activated that one and could use it until my actual one with my name on it came in the mail which was about a week. i activated that one and have been using it just fine. you may want to call netspend and ask if your card was ordered or sent out

IF ANYONE HAS QUESTIONS ON NETSPEND YOU CAN PM ME OR EMAIL ME AT christyvance@yahoo.com. or if you just got a card and want an additional 5.00 added to your card, let me know and i will give you my referal code and you can call netspend and they will credit your acct instantly

thanks

Re

I just bought two all access visa, and they were both denied at inetbet.
I ended up splitting them up, played one at clubworld and one and rushmore.

doesn't it concern anyone that netspend clearly states that their card is not to be used for gambling purposes and they reserve the right to repossess it
i dont know what this means for any funds it may contain.
i know this clause had kept me from ever using it when i still gambled because my govt scares me.
or maybe to some the benefits outweigh the risks?

from the netspend website

The Card is nontransferable, and it may be canceled, repossessed, or revoked at any time without prior notice subject to applicable law.

funds tied to potentially illicit or illegal activity may be subject to both internal and potentially Federal investigation, which may delay their immediate access.

You may not use your Card for online gambling. You may not use your Card for any illegal transactions.

I always looked at it as just covering there arses, eco sent out a similar email.

thanks lojo
i was wondering why no one seemed to care
i never used eco card either so i didnt know that they also had a disclaimer against gambling when they probably do gambling transactions more than any other transaction. although i dont think they would have a leg to stand on since its so widely known that ecocard is a gambling e-wallet advertised in casino banking where netspent isnt.
maybe im just paranoid over whats happening with this industry.
