This has been bugging me for ages but I was wondering if anybody else noticed that in practice play Netent slots always seem to pay better (more frequent bonuses, more big wins etc) then it does in real play mode. I can't remember the last time when I tried out a game in practice play that turned out similar in real play. Am I being paranoid?

i dont play free mode much but before i ventured on netent after seeing scores of doa screenshots(used to only play mg b4 wih occasional playtech), i found all them doa screenies to be too good to be true so did 20,000 spins on doa in free mode and didnt get a single win of over 200x(that was a double sherrif line win in base game)

But even after that i decided to make a go of it and started playing doa and within my first 20,000 spins across 3 different casinos(guts, verajohn and leovegas) I had 2 wildlines and 5 scatters evenly split 1 at each casino

So, from my experience play mode can play better or worse just like real mode

I have tried this on all new slots in the past year with the same results. Practice mode pays better than real mode. I haven't tested the older slots.

like i said, i dont play any new slots whatsoever but old ones like gonzo quest, doa, reel steal and few others i can tell you abt

Now they haven't released a single game worth the risk so i stick to the old ones

Believe it or not, i have not played any of their realeases for 2016 with my money for even 1 spin, only play the free spins the casino give and whatever i win gets donated to the bank of doa

I like games which have the potential to give 1000x wins but not a single release from netent lately has that

I have witnessed some dubious goings-on whilst in freeplay mode, but I don't think that it's Netent exclusive. I'd say more often than not I've seen some suspect hits, like a stupendous amount of wilds early in DOA for example. Or taking MG, getting a Georgie Porgie linkup in the bonus round with a wild on the third spin.

Let's be real here, this wouldn't happen. Yet after these early blinders I've noticed the gameplay to even out over the long run to resemble somewhat a normal variance. So it's not beyond the realms of possibility that the early RTP is spiked to give the illusion that it prints money.

Just my brief observations during those times I actually spent more than ten minutes on freeplay

i know, usually when i play the normal fs casino give i can see if the game has potential

Last decent game netent released was wishmaster, usually eats the balance but can also give huge wins

Your posts always make me laugh:) I have played new MG games in free play mode and not noticed that much of a difference. Only with Netent. I am gonna stop doing that now because it can't really give me a good sense on what the game play is actually like. Kinda defeats the purpose of trying games in free play before I invest in real play. Thanks for your input:thumbsup:

I stopped playing that game since it fleeces me more often than not although I can remember a 1000x win about a year and a half ago. I am not brave enough to play that game.

i only play 6 netent games but this is the game i play when my balance is healthy as its a money eater otherwise, base game is extremely poor till you get some wishes

Give u a little tip which has worked for me, if this game goes 100-150 spins without decent wishes, stop playin it, log out n log back in after few hours n then do another 50-100 spins n u should atlease recover some balance. If it doesn't work out then dont play it again till ur next deposit

This has worked for me few times, now i have had 1000x win sessions 5 times on it n 3 times it was after i had logged out of it to play it after half n hour or so

With dead or alive, i normally do 1000 spins n if i still have balance left i leave it for next day as most of my 29 1000x wins on doa have come within 200 spins of a session with the only 1000 win that came after that was on 257th spin so i never do more than a 1000 spins in one day at one casino

yeah a whole day, i have this rule when playing doa

to win on these slots you have to have self control and patience, if i get a little itchy i just make a little deposit elsewhere after that 1000 spin mark

Don't waste your luck on free play! If you hit a wild line you will never sleep again and your luck will shot down for at least a year.

I would recommend playing doa 9$ a spin while crying.

I vote for the tinfoil hat party in this issue. But it is not just Net ent, I don't trust any provider with their free play. Just too many "strange" co-incidences over the years. Like hitting nearly 1500x in Raging Rhino freeplay within minutes when I first tried the slot. Needless to even say, but never have had even half that in real play ever since. Nowadays, I normally don't even bother with free play mode with new slots. Far less aggravating that way.
