Every since the last midweek tourney on Videoslots when NetEnt went down I have not been able to play certain NetEnt games on any casino site using my laptop touchpad.

I own a touchscreen laptop with a touchpad but only use the touchscreen rarely due to fingermarks and generally because I have grown up using a touchpad and habits are hard to break.

It started with Starburst & DOA and has not progressively moved to other NetEnt slots it appears to me NetEnt are changing their games one by one and anyone with any kind of touchscreen can no longer use their touchpad.

It is very annoying trying to touch a laptop screen with a finger continuously its not like having a tablet or mobile as the laptop is not in the correct position to use your finger all the time, is anyone else getting this problem and is it something NetEnt have done deliberately to enhance their games?

Luckily this happens with no other provider but it is making me less likely to play NetEnt as I can't be bothered playing it this way.

The only thing you can do is to disable the touchscreen
control panel/devices/human interface devices/HiD compliant touch screen.

They haven't taken touchscreen laptops and monitors into account. They're (wrongly) assuming that if a game detects a touch screen then it must be being played on a tablet or mobile.

Even though touchscreens are being fitted as standard to more and more new laptops and monitors

It's also happened to the new HTML5 versions of MGS games, including IR and TSII

Yeah, I've noticed this - the Netent slots are now MAKING me use touchscreen and not letting me use the mouse/cursor. Right pain in the arse.
I think NetEnt games are thinking I have a tablet when I have a touchscreen laptop and there are not many touchscreen laptops around so I think NetEnt are altering the games and it is confusing my laptop, it is a real pain as a laptop is not like a tablet you cannot sit constantly pressing the screen without folding the lid over to make it in a touchscreen position and then you cannot use the keyboard.

WE are experiencing this same problem with certain Netent games, non-responsive browser but works fine on mobile and internet explorer
