What BS? I use neteller all the time. Are their problems with neteller?
Their problem is in the way Neteller mishandled the withdrawal from the market. Telling customers one day that they could still use Neteller, just not Instadebit any more, and the next just locking down everything without further warning, ensuring that loads of US players had money stuck irretrievably in transit due to the simultaneous shut down of "reverse gear" preventing even retrieval of deposits made on the Monday. They are now saying this was all so well planned that it will take 6 WEEKS for moneys in Neteller to be sent back to players, and if any money was sent out of Neteller on the Monday, Neteller refuse to help by accepting it back, telling players it is up to them to sort it out themselves.
If they had told players in October that they were definately planning a withdrawal when the 270 days consultation was up, they could have had time to look around at other options, perhaps signing up at other eWallets.
We now have the same fiasco at Click2Pay - chaos, but no information from the top as to what is going on, so players fear the door has already been locked and bolted, but can't find anyone prepared to say whether it is or it isn't.
Neteller had the cheek to tell US players they could still use Neteller for non-gaming related transactions. Naturally, players can't find any as it is Neteller policy to refuse merchant accounts to anyone not in the gaming industry - as was shown by a reply to a merchant who wanted to use Neteller to sell things over the internet as many people seemed to have Neteller accounts because they gambled online. I can't remember the details, but it was posted here a while back.
