Tips Neteller blocking payments from the UK to Casino Saga

few days ago my transaction to casinoroom declined from neteller, asked casinoroom they said its neteller's problem, asked them n they said merchant has asked us to discontinue payments from the UK

So both sides in this case were blaming each other as well, also is casinosaga taking UK players?

I was just offered a 100% bonus at Casino Room and I gave it a try even know I had remembered your post and the deposit was accepted.

I don't know then why mine kept getting declined, as i tried it 4 times and declined each time and then neteller said casino asked to decline payments while casino said just ask neteller or use alternative as u can see european secure transfers kept declining me

Hello, we have UKGC license, there was a misunderstanding with Neteller, but our merchant sorted it out and now we have it live again. We apologize for the inconvenience caused, please try again and contact our support if you need assistance.

So what EXACTLY is the deal here, as it's not just your casino, it's happening widely, and when a Neteller user approaches Neteller, they are told it's nothing to do with Neteller, and to speak to the merchant, however, when the player speaks to the merchant, the casino, they are just told it's Neteller and offered alternative deposit methods.

I fail to see why players need to be mislead and kept in the dark, just say what the policy is so that we can understand.

Hello vinylweatherman, it has to do with UKGC license. In our case everything is in order, it was a matter of providing the link to the online register @UKGC

Who is actually enforcing this? We have managed to work out this much by guesswork, but we can't seem to get anyone to say which of the parties in the transaction chain is enforcing this, and why. Is this something they have been told to do by the UK government or the UKGC, or has some link in the chain adopted this policy and it affects all transactions that are directed through them.

It seems that casino support are just as clueless as they respond by advising the player to try an alternative means of deposit, but in doing so they might be landing the casino in legal strife if indeed this has been initiated by a UK government body, rather than one particular payment provider.

Given that Neteller now own Skrill, the advice to try Skrill as an alternative may be a waste of time.
