Hi,

I don't know if this will effect people other than in the states but

There will be a vote on Net Neutrality on December 14.

There are only 5 people deciding if it will continue.

We ALL need net neutrality, without it, net companies can charge

even more for some sites accessibility or stop you from those sites totally.

Please, please email these people and voice your opinion.

There are 2 "confirmed no votes" that we know of. We need at least one more.

This can/will effect all of us!

Thank you!

HOW TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT TO KEEP NET NEUTRALITY
1. On your computer, not your phone! - go to: www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings/express
2. Enter under Proceeding the numbers: 17-108.
3. YOU are the FILER. Fill out your name, address and email address.
4. In comments, say you support Title 2 oversight of ISPs. Also say that you support net neutrality.
** Fill in the form carefully; they've made it less friendly and impossible to fill in on your phone, on purpose. **
** Don't be silenced. Do it now. Copy and Paste to pass it on.
We should all be very concerned about this. Stay vigilant. It takes one minute to do.

Done & done.

to call the FCC director's office directly, the page gives you the pertinent phone numbers to call to voice your opposition to killing Net Neutrality and support Title 2 oversights of ISPs. The page gives you a short and sweet script to follow when leaving messages, which helps if you ever get tongue-tied/outraged.

You'll be given the FCC's #, then your senator's numbers. Usually you get a voicemail.

If you are a "twitter" person:

@matthewberryfcc chief of staff FCC (Has no vote but bug him anyway)

@mikeofcc Mike O'Reilly of the FCC (needs pressure to vote no)

@BrendanCarrFCC FCC commissioner (needs pressure to vote no)

@AjitPaiFCC Chairman of FCC (needs pressure to vote no)

@JRosenworcel on the vote panel (Voting NO, so thank her)

@MClyburnFCC on the vote panel (Voting no, so thank her too)

Go get them tweeters!!!

it's over.

the fcc just ruled. its been repealed.

internet is no longer considered a public utility...

i hope this is not something that other countries will follow.

Throw in Disney's takeover of Fox as well. Today marked quite a shift towards the big corporations eliminating choice and impacting our freedoms that many of us take for granted. Well guess what, it's all about to change and this is surely just the beginning.
