Hej!
I'm not looking for sympathy but tell how it looks. I'm addicted to gambling and really lost everything. Health. The girl. Friends. Family everything. I have managed to get away from the game sometimes but it always comes back and destroys.

Little funny facts.

Had $ 80K debt. Wins on slots so that I can pay off everything plus have a very good sum over. Life is on top.
It takes 3 months until I lose everything again except 10K $. Anxiety of course
Starts with shares and it goes well. Was on sick leave so instead of going back to work I lived on it for about 2 years. Had $ 3-400 maybe.

Had been away from games very long. There was not even in my mind until one day. I would just play for 5k $ of course. Start going to hell with chasing losses. At the same time as I lose focus on the shares and take higher risks.
Ends with Disaster. Moves home to parents. Girl away after 5 years and lives on the minimum of existence. If it does not go further down, it feels like. So many bridges I burned because of my ***** gambling.

I have deposited at the casino $ 300K for a fairly short period. When yes played and the money is over, I get crazy and ripped off the chat and my VIP manager after bonuses, previous cashback and been sick manic. Didn't think about it then but when I read the logs, one sees that I am absolutely ***** crazy.

Slowly, I put in quite a bit of money in the short period. Then they wanted to check where the money came from. I showed that I did not work for 2 years. Then also a $ 80k loan agreement they approved. Only there it feels as if someone might have reacted if you borrow money to play and you do not work.

I NEVER SAID IM ADDICTED . But it does take anyone. They should be trained to see patterns. I have had 3 different managers and no one has pointed out anything. Been offered travel, ipad etc.

BUT I would get a new manager when one had stopped. So had someone from another country. I played and the money ran out haha. Wrote as usual and excited but he is the only person who actually reacted to me.

"Hi ,
There are new rules that have come in which mean we have to look out for our players safety and make sure they are in control of their time and spending.
When you come into chat demanding Cashback early - especially when it is tiny amounts this causes concern for myself and members of the Responsible Gambling Team.
If you can stick with the rules then the concern reduces but if not and you maintain this behaviour we may need to consider taking you out of Loyalty for your own safety.
You are the only player (out of 56) that has come into chat with this frequency and making demands.
I will continue to monitor your account and hand over this information in 2 weeks to the new Swedish Manager and they can make a decision on how best to continue with your account. And let me assure you - you have been very well looked after by us. I have not seen numbers like yours for a while.
Like I said before - you will have a new manager by the end of the day today. I will let you set up your relationship with him.
No other Swedish player (some of which have spent nearly 3 times as much as you) have received the setup and attention you have so please don’t think you have had a bad run with us. But basic rules of engagement have to be set.
Hope that clarifies things for you"

.
long text sorry. I wonder if you think I have any chance of claiming back money due to gaming abuse. So the behavior at loss and the sums I put in are completely sick. I think more about it now that I have been away from the shit for a while that is horrible. How they play one's friend and everything just for playing more.
I have already lost my life and everything that mattered. But they should have been able to stop this earlier or do it to someone else who is on the verge of doing so

I have not even thought of the idea that something like this was even worth trying.

But have seen several cases where people have received money back and are actually shocked. But good as a fan for those who succeed.

When you are out of the bubble and who now read my chat logs. I have hardly wanted to watch them as I am like a monster. Reminds of a junkie who does everything to get his fix.

Haha chat says no time and time again and I just run on. Mail VIP and get no but send 5 mail to.

Gets happy as a fan when you got an ipad in Christmas gift. I thanked him for saving my life. I was not thinking then that I wasted 10 ipads the same month.

Don't want to hope too much but I know how I am. If only I would get a% back, it would have helped me so much to keep coming back.

For the life I live now is like I'm already dead. Hadn't my Mom still been here . I probarly would kill my self. But i cant do that to her.

These posts are always difficult. We are only hearing it from one side, what’s been included, what’s been left out etc, etc.

The only way I can view this is by being impartial and it is only my view.

You are a compulsive gambler that is set in stone. Generally compulsive gamblers go through stages of what is acceptable in everyday life as in terms of funding their addiction.

I am a compulsive gambler and I never thought I would be able to get it under control, ever. I was as bad as anyone borrowing money, lying to friends and family, basically whatever it took to fund the habit. Shameful I know. It is something I cannot forgive myself for or justify in any way. The only thing is that is now in the past but I am still aware that I could slip very easily.

You can’t be cured of being a compulsive gambler and only the smallest minority can gamble without causing themselves a problem. For me I think it only came with age and experience. Almost like I had to go through all those years of pain and torture to arrive at where I am today. Trying to get rich from gambling solidly every spare minute for 35 years simply wore me out. I had nothing physically or mentally left to give.

Now you can give all the advise in the world to someone going through this. The bottom line is it won’t make the slightest bit of difference. People tried it with me. I sat there telling them everything they wanted to hear whilst at the same time working out how and when I could get funds to gamble.

Sorry to go on about myself but I am trying to give you a mirror image of your situation. The problem I have is I don’t know if you want the money as a foundation to genuinely rebuild your life or a base from which to repeat the cycle all over again. It may sound harsh but experience and my gut feeling tell me the latter.

I don’t know how you came by all this money to gamble with in the first place. Your relatively very young to have had access to those kind of funds. You mentioned a loan of $80k. What was that secured against?

If you earned all this money legitimately you must be a very smart person. You are young enough to put it all behind you and have plenty of time to rebuild your life. As for getting any of the lost money back. Personally I highly doubt it but others on the the forum are better equipped to advise on that one.

I really wish you a positive future and no matter how bad things seem right now there is a way forward. The first thing you have to do is be able to trust yourself. That is a massive step in the right direction. As gamblers we always look to blame anything or anybody else to try and deflect away from or justify our own actions. After a while you realise THE ONLY PERSON THAT CAN CURE YOU IS YOURSELF.

Are you Swedish? Because from your name I would say your Italian? :)

if a player tells a casino he is gambling with money from a LOAN they should auto close his account for player protection.

whole point of asking.how you can find gambling is to proof income froma job. casino conveniently ignored it seemed when he stated it's a loans so play has grounds to complain imo.

Yes it was very easy and fast. I had my loyalty guy on skype and i showed the loan and a win from 2015. But thoose cash was already gone long time ago. Was afraid they would close the account

I'll preface by saying I am at best extremely skeptical of the motivations and thoughts behind such threads and situations as this and will remain so until someone can point me to the sudden influx of similar posts from addicts who have seen the error of their ways and want to know how they would go about returning the massive win they just cashed out from a sister site of a site they excluded from/site that should have been more responsible for their behavior than they would like to be themselves.

Now you may be saying, but guy.. that's not fair, no one ever sees how terrible their choices are when everything is going right or they're winning..

So, I'm glad we agree, the mere premise that casinos should have to refund, make monetary ammends to problem gamblers is akin to telling problem gamblers that with the right words and actions there is a possibility of having "loss insurance" on their gambling and I'm sure there are few who would argue that such an idea could possibly be spun as "In the best interest of the problem gambler" or a "socially responsible approach to helping those who cannot help themselves"

Now I'm not suggesting that the casinos who ignored their licensing obligations should be able to keep the funds either, I would actually suggest the best way to handle such issues raised by problem gamblers that do show negligence on the part of the casino should result in any funds from said activities being donated to education/rehabilitation/support programs to help others avoid such issues in the future.. I would also put good odds on the fact that if this were how such situations were resolved, there'd be far fewer threads, complaints and discussions of this nature in the future.

I used to play to much money I could not afford now it's like 200$ a month 20 here and there because play vs so keep the free battle by earning the 2500xp .feel bad for ya brother I would stay away period. spending that kind of money.and 80k loan just to gamble and casino knows it. in canada could never happen they kick your ass out. I happy to win once in awhile. samdog21

I don't know why, but something tells me you would have been "well looked after" by them disabling your account if you constantly ranted and raved at their CS, I dunno, after depositing £10 a day trying to hit 5000x @ 1p/1line spins on Book of Dead.

Perhaps it should have read;
'You have been very well looked after by us regarding rewards in return for playing with us. Obviously, we don't mean in the sense that we actually gave a shit about your well being when we noticed major signs of someone with a gambling problem after your repetative abusive treatment towards our staff (who's well being, on this particular occasion, we have also decided to not give a shit about) but simply because we were never going to turn away the current leader on our top 56 potential problem gamblers ladder, because he has also shown to have a hell of a lot of funds available for us to take'

Sorry to hear about the entire situation, and for not having something more productive to say. But try to remember the feeling you had when you wasn't gambling, and when the time comes where you might consider taking this path of destruction again, compare it to the feeling you have now.

Haha, spot on! That is exactly how it is

Not a lot of sympathy mate sorry, I don’t believe choosing to gamble is a addiction but rather a weakness.
We can all say no to anything.
That said, the murky world of a lot of casinos love a person like you, they need you to lose so they win.
Are they totally all for player protection?.. no chance.
A bit like streamers, can promote all the BS they like, but without your losses and sign up they get shit.
Best advice I could give would be totally forget about gambling, get yourself the best help you can and find a activity more healthy and sociable, much more to life than clicking a mouse and trusting the next reels that drop in will enrich your life somewhat, it won’t ever.
Best of luck in your endeavours genuinely, as much as I may lack sympathy in the cause, the person I truly wish the best.

It starts with a will of your own that you can control. But if you become addicted to gambling, then it is definitely not as easy as you make it appear. You always have a choice. But not as a gambling addict. Then there is only play

they have banned my account haha?

i was highest level and loyalty.

Now they ban me for asking for chat logs and all the transactions

Hi there @balotelli

I understand my answer might not really answer any of your questions, but due to the nature of the case and GDPR I cannot really give any insight nor answers.

You can even send us an email and ask for me specifically and I can reply to your email a with more detailed answer to your questions.

Hi Steve,

I will contact you regarding your complaint we received on September 9, where you told us about your gambling problems and requested a refund of some of the money you have spent on our site.

Casumo focuses on the customer and strives to provide a playground in a safe and secure environment for our players with a variety of game limits available for controlling games. We are sorry to hear about your situation and hope that your recovery is going well, as you mentioned in your email. and help.

Please receive our final notice after a thorough review of your request.

After reviewing your request, we have decided to refund any money you have spent on your Swedish gaming account, registered after January 1, 2019. That is, all your deposits minus withdrawals, during the period January 1, 2019 to June 28, 2019 when the account was closed, which amounts to EUR 6,000. This is something that we do as a gesture of goodwill on our part, because we understand that you are in a difficult situation and we wish we could have gone into an earlier stage and done more for you as a player.

This refund covers the entire amount spent on your Swedish account after it was opened under the Swedish license since January 1, 2019. A payment of this amount has already been made to your bank account which was linked to the gaming account.

For any money you spent on our site prior to January 1, 2019, in your account under our MGA license, no additional amount will be refunded by us based on our assessment of this case.

If you would like to dispute this decision regarding the funds you spent on your account prior to January 1, 2019, under our MGA license, you may contact the Alternative Dispute Resolution Organization (ADR) eCOGRA or contact MGA. If we are notified that we need to make changes to our decision from our ADR, we will correct it.

Alternatively, you can direct your complaint to the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (ODR), which will then forward it to the relevant ADR unit.

We are able to confirm that your account was closed on June 28, 2019 due to your Game Break self-suspension and will continue to be closed. You will also not receive any marketing messages from us during your self-suspension.

Below you will find no organizations that can help you dig into your gaming problems:

In the post I pointed out the problems very well that it was all before 2019. Why pay for 2019 only if they pay ...
What do you think?

I would assume it has something to do with regulations after they moved to the swedish license.

Yes but didnt they care about the customes before Sweden got so much "control" of them. I know they ofcourse doing eveything in thei power not to see their problem in this and pay back from the 230.000 EURO i put in before 2019

The way I see it you should be happy they are willing to refund you 6000 Euro.
You gambled it away and lost it.
So they could have decided to not refund you anything as most people who lose their money will not get a refund for losses.

I understand you have a problem with gambling and the best way is to cut all ties with your casino accounts and contact local help / support to help you deal with your gambling issues.

I play at Casumo myself and it is a very decent outfit.
Helpful customer service and a good rep here on the forum.

If you hit rock bottom and the casino offers you 6k back, try and use that money to start rebuilding your life.

6k is a lot of money, at least I would be over the moon with an amount like that.

Good luck on your road to recovery but I think to blame the casino for all this is a bit unfair.

Maybe you were a Roshtein follower, if so maybe try and sue him. :D
That was meant sarcastic of course.

I understand how you mean. But this is a matter of throwing money that people do not earn during their lifetime of a few months.

I myself like Casumo until I saw what they are like when things happen. 6K is not much when you almost put in 230k.

They have got the proof .. I have had 3 different VIP managers .. This would have stopped earlier AND not when I had already paused myself. They say they take care of the customer but only pay in good will from 2019 when I barely played and they are reviewed by Sweden.

Did they not care about the customers before? 2017-2018 ??

I have sympathy for you I do, that sort of money lost is truly life changing and heart to stomach.

But you choose to deposit it, addiction or not you choose to keep depositing and as a adult you have to take the consequences to your actions and learn from it. You do not deserve anything more than what they are offering, many of us have lost thousands over the years we would all love our money back, so I would take the 6k and run and never return to any casino again.

I'm not looking for sympathy. I would never even think about it before.

But when I had a break for a while and grabbed my gambling addiction. So I see everything so much clearer. How to be triggered for games etc. They should have turned me off much earlier ...

What made me pissed was that when I wrote to VIP that I wanted all the chat + transactions. Their tone changed in a second and they CLOSED me.

I didn't even mention anything about gambling addiction or anything special. Then they showed their right side that you are no longer good.

I will take the money and appeal of course. It's a joke to only pay for 2019 when I quit then
