Last night I'll checked the eCogra certificate of the xhttp://bit.ly/VpwL97 - Nedplay casino (a part of the 32Red Group) and I saw a great 100,71% RTP for them Slot Games in the last August 2012 month.
Check the certificate xhttp://www.ecogra.org/certificates/certificate.aspx?cid=268 - here. Very nice!

Hi Edman,

Thanks for promoting our payout at Nedplay.

I've alerted Bryan to the affiliate link you posted, not cool. Please refrain from spamming 32Red Plc websites on forums. This is your first and last warning.

Regards,
Mark

Yeah I agreed it such not a good idea to post spam link. But at least I am sure you won't let it happen again. But I noticed that payout seems unusual to me. Normally should be less than 100% because of tax has to be paid in their country. Government in Australia enforce 12.5% tax to all casino/pub in this country. So RTP lose all the way down to 87.5%.

If this member is stupid enough to spam on Casinomeister, then he most likely is spamming elsewhere as well. I personally have zero tolerance towards spammers, so I would have kicked him straight out of the affiliate program.

That RTP was just for one month (August) - it is actually very common for casinos to have slots stats like that a few times per year.
Other months will be much lower than average - it all evens itself out in the end.

I believe this can happen if a slot hit's a big jackpot or something similar, but you obviously need to look at the RTP over a longer period to get a more accurate picture.

Sorry, didn't noticed that posting a affiliate link on the forum is forbidden. My apologize for it.
@rainmaker, I think your message is a little bit overdone. You didn't recognize it on first sight...so.

It is correct that I first gave you an ordinary reply to your post since I did not see your link. But I saw it when I re-read your post after a few minutes, so I edited my post and reported yours. That I did not see your link does of course not change anything.

Spamming affiliates are a big problem for this industry. Not only are they a problem, but they are also a shame for this great industry. That is why I think spammers, once they are caught (like in this case), should have their affiliate accounts closed immediately. I really do not understand why spamming affiliates should get a second chance as that only will tempt others to do the same.

@rainmaker, I think your message is a little bit overdone. You didn't recognize it on first sight...so.

Any person with half a brain and an ounce of common sense KNOWS that it is NOT OK to advertise your OWN links on someone else's website, especially when that website already advertises that particular casino.

It's like setting up your own bread and milk stand outside the supermarket, or putting your icecream cart out front of the icecream store.

IMO you knew exactly what you were doing, and you've probably done it elsewhere. If you had bothered to read your affiliate program terms, and the CM forum rules, you would have KNOWN this was unacceptable.

It's also clear that you were sleazily cloaking your links so that players might not notice they were clicking an affiliate link, which further convinces me what you were fully aware of what you were doing. You obviously aren't the sharpest tool in the shed, as you replied to Rainmaker with " You didn't recognize it on first sight...so" which proves you were deliberately trying to hide it....and the only reason you would need to do that would be that you KNEW it was wrong. Why not just post the full affiliate link, seeing as you "didn't know" it was wrong.

I seldom disagree with 32Red, but in this case I think they made the wrong call. You should have been held up as an example to other affiliates who try to reap the rewards of someone else's hard work and reputation.

I also think you should be banned from CM.

I might be way out of line even asking this but this is not the first time i see you make your point on affiliate link spamming to the extreme ( 0 tolerance etc. ) so i might as well ask...

For the record i'm not involved in any affiliate programs in any way possible. The only way i am involved with online casinos is that i ship em loads of money and in return i get to see pictures spinning round and round :p . ( i wouldnt even use the "recommend a friend" button as i dont want to be held accountable when one of my mates loses money ).

Now i hate spammers of any kind dont get me wrong, but why give em the chair instead of a firm warning? personally i see no difference in someone waisting my time by posting a vid of a naked guy dancing with snakes than him posting there affiliate link... ( both links i wouldn't click on, but if someone does to be frank its on them... )

I am not saying people should blatantly polute this forum i love so much, or spam my email with bogus offers but the "one warning" should be granted no? i could imagine those guys chasing that quick buck start to dream and just want to get there link out in every possible way ( good or bad ).. In the end its on the person actually clicking on the link right? And soon as you get one bogus email you flag it as inappropriate and you would never hear from them again.

Again i'm not sure if out of line by asking ( if i am i apologize as i have nothing to do with this mather anyway ) but i honestly dont see any difference in spamming an afl link and spamming random crap ( both are a big nono but a first time offender should get a pass i believe )

As this is a rather personal mather ( as in its you point of view ) i first typed this whole wall of text in pm, but i decided to just reply as i might not be the only one unclear on this..

I by no way mean any offend, i honestly just want to know why its such a big deal.

It says quite clearly in the description text of this forum:

Online Casinos - Information, Experiences, questions and such. This is no place for ads or cloaked promos. Shills and spammers be warned

Note the bolded part.

I'm quite drunk, so this post has taken several minutes to type, but still, I'm sure you get the gist.

That's your warning, most normal people know what to expect from the forum description.

I'm also fairly shitfaced and took long to write my comment, soon as i posted i got to see nifty's post and the rules are verry clear. ( they always were, i never broke em... i wouldnt even post a screen in this section about a nice win even tho it might compliment my review about a certain casino.. )

What is not clear and basicly the root of my question is why ppl nothing to do with this take it to the extreme with there pov.. ( reporting spammer to the meister bossman, shaming spammer right here, and basicly saying they should shot be at dawn.. )

My Q was not why you think its wrong, as i know why its wrong, but why you feel so strong about it....

( if i see a guy dealing drugs on the street i would just avoid him, not report him to the police.. This doesnt mean i think its ok to deal drugs but if the dealer wants to take the risk of going to jail for a long time thats on him... )

I'm not sure i'm getting my point across properly tho, i think i better just shut up and keep looking at the nice pictures in screenshotorama...

Sorry but if you see someone dealing drugs and not report him I say you're a coward that minds your own business.
The rest of us are responsible people that do what we can to keep law an order in place. Maybe that's not comparable with affiliates posting links in forums, but for us it's about ethics and moral.
I maybe sound rough but I do mean every word.

I beg your pardon?

I only used this as an example to illustrate my point but as i dont at all appreciate beeing called a coward i will respond to this specific example :
(this applies ONLY to the drug dealing example, not the spamming anymore )

I dont think becaus something is against the law it is my task to oversee it not happening. Drug dealing will only happen if there are people buying drugs.. wether or not its illegal! this is supply and demand where the "user" just buys a product from the seller, wether or not its illegal i could not care less.

I have verry verry firm morals and ethics! If i would see a group of people harrasing someone, or causing problems i will ALWAYS butt in, more often than not i get my ass kicked but i could not live with myself if i would just watch those things go by...

In my personal oppinion ALL sorts of drugs should be made legal, regulated, and put taxes on. but thats a whole other argument..

All i ment to say is i wouldnt "tell" on someone who did something wrong that doesnt affect me nor anyone else who didnt choose to be affected!

I already apologized in both my first and second post as i wasnt sure wether or not i was out of line by even asking the question, but i never attacked anyone's person. You however call me a cowerd for an example i give trying to illustrate my point.

I dont think you should say that without knowing the first thing about me.. i was only asking a simple question :s ( that to me this is worse than spamming an affli link btw, i i feel strongly offended even tho i never ment to cause any harm )

Okey, then I'm sorry for calling you a coward since you have so totally different views on things than I have. You are still young and hopefully your opinions will change with time;)
It was actually the part about drugdealing that made me really angry, and sad. That's a totally different discussion so I won't go in to that here.
Still it is about what is the right or wrong thing to do as an affiliate. I always react. No blind side here:)

I will just drop this as no good can come out of this whatosever, but what the hell? You are sorry becaus i have a different view and becaus i am young i might still change my oppinion?

You have no idea how offended i feel right now. a great shame as all i did was part take in the arguement and trying to get my point across ( and apologizing even while doing so ) !

i am sorry but you are a verry close minded person. think all you want about me but please before you can make a strong point dont attack me as a person.

As i said before i will just stick to posting pictures of wins and leave it at that :s jezus christ

By the way. I feel you are both right in different opinions. I can agree and also feel for both you opinions. You are not that far from each other that it may seem. If that makes any sense. My honest opinion is not giving any second chance when we talk Affiliate links. There is NO excuse for this. Reason I have also reported this and given my opinion.

Well, since I love analogies and drinking, why a spamming affiliate should not be tolerated here at CM.

Let's say I'm the madam of a fine bordello, in a jurisdiction where it is not illegal, and I have all the appropriate licences and I obey all the local laws.

My protitutes are held to a high standard of behaviour, and must comply with my house rules.

Now some little streetwalker comes in, and tries to steal my customers or potential customers. Do you think I'd toss him/her out of their ear?

And do you think just because one of my pleasure agents has her out drumming out business, doesn't mean she can conduct it at my house.

There are affiliates that do a great job going to bat for players (I'm not one of them), being informative and helpful here at CM. They earn a right to put an affiliate link in their signature.

This is Brian's house, not mine. He might be nicer than me.

It's actually worse than that since the spam was cleverly disguised in a RTP topic. Add the cloaking and it's obvious that he's not a newbie that made a mistake.

Players don't often get a second chance when they break the terms, even when it is "by accident". It can enrage players when they see affiliates being given second chances when they break the terms of the affiliate agreement, even if "by accident" as many claim.

I suspect the others are right, the OP knew what he was doing would be "not cool", so he tried to be a bit sneaky. Unusually, it wasn't a mamber that spotted it and called him out, it was the affiliate manager himself, and in under an hour. He must have been in a good mood as he got a second chance, but I can't see this being extended by Bryan into a second chance at membership. I bet he lasts another day if he is lucky, then Bryan is back in the office to see this report, and the OP is history.

If we can show that the OP has spammed elsewhere, will he have his affiliate account closed?

As for the 100%+ payout on slots, no idea - I don't have an account there so haven't been near their fruities:p
