I just thought I would share my awful experiences with you guys regarding my complete and utter failure to make a cash out at ANY/ALL Rival casinos over the last year and 3 months now. This conversation that i had with CS demonstrates my frustration and anger over the whole situation.

I firstly will apologise over the grammar and spelling and my tendency to repeat my self on occasion. Its just I am raging right now.

Please tell me your opinion on this.

I am not siding with the casino but at least you could have told us something more eg how many deposits you made, the $ you roughly lost and most importantly how much you consider to be worthy of a cashout. This will let us know how poor a run you have had. Please also edit your email address.

I'm surprised with your speaking tone, lee_bumble. No matter you won or lost, this is not this guy's fault. At least you had to speak to him more politely IMO Treating him for your losses is nonsense.

And also please delete your email from the first post. No need to feed spammers.

As you can see by the chat I'm a regular and frequent Rival casinos pretty much every week. When tell you I have never made a cash out this is to say I haven't made a play through. When I deposit without bonus my money is snapped up in minutes. I don't consider myself as a high roller because my bet are sizes never raised over $£1.00. If a made a play through then I would cash straight away. I don't look for show me the money screenies just a nice cash would be nice.

Not once did I swear at the guy or did I blame him for my losses. Considering I've lost over 3 grand over the last year I feel I remained rather reserved dont you??

This is quite common, and sometimes it is YOURSELF you need to be angry about, not the casino. This often happens under 2 main scenarios.

1) Player cashes out, but is prone to reversing, dramatically increasing the chances of never actually receiving one.

2) Player fails to cash out, or part cash out, after an early winning surge, only to lose everything back later in the session.

What really matters is the overall RTP on PLAYTHROUGH, and how much playthrough has been done. Variance also plays a part, few big bets give wilder variance than many smaller bets. Many of the Rival slots are VERY high variance, something they have in common with 3Dice. These games are best played with much smaller bets than you might use on other softwares, and the big wins are less frequent, but often bigger relative to bet size. This makes it even MORE important to cash out, or part cash out, after such a big hit. The part cash out is an alternative to the reverse, but sadly the bonus structure of Rival does not properly support players making part cash outs, they have to meet WR and cash out EVERYTHING for the system to properly clear the bonus from the system after WR have been met.

Having a few different casinos to play at makes life easier. Rather than reversing a withdrawal, play at a different casino while waiting, this fulfills the desire to play, but does not require reversal of a withdrawal. In this way, you should see a few cashouts.

The other thing to do is try different softwares, ir even different casinos using the same software. Luck may change, and IF there is something "funny" going on at one casino, you will avoid it by going to another. Along with this change, you will lose the negative feelings due to feeling that you are getting "screwed on every deposit".

Wheeze?

Forgive my ignorance, but what does that mean? I'm assuming nothing nice. I know you are upset, but I seriously doubt, no I know you are not the only person to have not cashed out in a year from a Rival as a regular depositor. It sucks, it does. However it may just be me, but why the horrific confrontational tone to the CS rep? Please understand, I am on your side as far as the terrible Rival play and all, but I'm a little put off by your conversation, and find it hard to join your plight. good Luck

thanks for the info. Your talking about part cashout, full cashouts and I havent even made a cashout. As for bet sizes I do keep them small. Im aware of Rivals high variance slots but not have not cashed out in over a year is just plain silly. RTG, Microgaming and even have been absolutly fine. Thank god too, they have made up for my horrendous losses at Rivals. Anyway bollocks to it you live and learn. Ive calmed down alot since the first post and am not seeing red, rather a rose tint now!

I'm pretty sure I've seen the same color of red. $400-$500 a month deposits at Slotocash and not one withdrawal in 15 months (last withdrawal was October of 2008). In January I stopped playing there. For me, it didn't make a difference if it was with or without a bonus there was NEVER a time for a cashout. The only thing we can remember is that the CS people are given a script to read and have NO control over anything...even though, there are times we would like to strangle someone:rolleyes:

I logged back into the casino so I could appologise to Ray in CS and he said it was fine and its like water off a ducks back.

I was wondering if this had happened to anybody else on another platform such as RTG, Microgaming and such.

One of the main reason was the fact that I wasnt expecting it at all. I meen im not daft, I know bad runs happen but to this extent no.

It takes a lot to apologize to someone like that. I have total respect for you. You were just pissed at your results. I don't think I have cashed out at Sloto in maybe a year, I'm not sure. I do know I have had a few ops to do so, but just didn't for whatever reason. I can never really get up a lot on Rival anyway, but love the games.

I think it can happen with any software provider if you don't cashout when up. IMHO, it seems very unlikely that you will never have the opportunity to cashout in a year. That sounds way off to me. Have you gathered your stats for them? That may help us better understand also.

I all but quit using MG, the play is just too whacky, and wierd now. I'm frustrated with RTG, but can't say I go a year without an op to cash out.

I understand your anger at not making WR and being able to cash out. While venting at the CS rep probably helped blow off steam, it really wasn't going to get you any results.

Bottom line is that it's your choice to continue to play on this software. If you lose continuously, don't play that type of software or visit that casino.

Over the 10+ years of my playing online, I can tell you there were many places I couldn't win anything at but I would read about how people were making big cashouts. I just learned to stop chasing losses at those places and moved on.

I will say your opening line to the CS rep got a laugh out of me.:)

Good luck with big cashouts at another casino.

You know I think I needed that vent let me tell you! Better than slapping the wife round the house ( calm down all you femenists, that was a joke )!!! I lock her in the coal shed instead!:D Seriously though I feel alot more clear headed after keeping it locked up for so long.

Guess what? Your right. I really do need to let go of this and move on before my hair falls out and I become wrinkley, bitter and twisted. I think im just gonna stick with RTG and Microgaming until they shaft me! In that case i'll move back to Rival again and repeat the whole soaded afair all over again. Cripes cant wait.

Are RTG casinos considered "high variance" then?

I think it's good you have made a choice to let it go and move on. I have learned to do the same thing. I found no matter how much we complain about RTP, it just doesn't make any difference.
But I will say for my own experience, I stick with MG. I have thought of my withdrawals over the last year and with Rival it was $270 and RTG was around $225, with MG it's been well over both of those, so for me that is the keeper.
I am of the thinking that the hardest places to find a return from is "Rival and RTG", so they have been off my list for some time now and will stay off.
So hopefully you won't be replacing the frustration of your Rival experience with one that could be equal in every way.
If you are going to play at RTG, then maybe just play occasionally until you feel comfortable with the give and take and take and take and take :D, sorry, I digress here.

That was a very manly thing to do mate. I am proud of you.

Now about the 'high variance' thing. If you had taken bonuses especially at VR it makes no sense betting low. They mostly offer huge uncashable bonuses with hefty WRs so it's no wonder you didnt meet playthru. If you really want a bit of fun, deposit the minimum ($25), get a 300% bonus and start spinning at $0.8 or $1.0 per spin. Most of the time you will still bust but if you hit big at least you have met a good portion of your WRs. There is nothing worse than hitting it big at low bets but having more than 90% of the WRs to clear. Most of the time you simply give it back.

Yeah man that's good advise there. If I want game play then I could always use play money and when it comes to depositing it should be c**k and balls out all guns blazing. For want of a better expression! Ha! I think I need to get used to the fact that with Rival deposits will dissapear and fast.
You see Rivals HV slots have made me a touch gun shy and I really realy wanted some decent game play. If it's not meant happen that way in able to win then so be it.

im in same boat too $1000's deposited at rivals and not 1 cashout...

usually i lose right off without a bonus, or i hit a few nice wins with a bonus but lose before meeting wr, i do ok on some no deposit bonuses though but it does take ages to get paid from rival casinos so often i wonder if its worth making the deposit to withdraw the winnings

Can I just say quickly that I noticed on the chat transcript it the conversation is with Vegas Regal Casino. In NO WAY is this a direct attack aimed directly at Vegal Regal, rather a complaint about Rival as a whole. Infact I feel that VR is one of the better Rivals.

I know its shocking isn't it. I will come clean and tell you, one gambler to another. I've had sessions where it's brought me close to tears and thats a fact.

yes just move on and dont look back. :D

Thank you very much for you support. Let me tell you I have moved on from it now and feel alot calmer now, no doubt.

There's one thing if I may. When I first started at Rival casinos everything was absolutly great and I made some seriously nice cashout then all of a sudden things went absolutly dead and when I say dead I meen as a dodo! By that time I was hooked. I geuss you could call it a honey moon period in effect. Did that happen to any of you guys?

Turn right, then right. then right again
Out of interest Lee - what amount do you set to make a cashout?

I used to have a problem with not cashing out, but now I have a 3xdeposit cashout level i.e. If I deposit $50 and I run it up to $150, I cash it out and go play somewhere else - anything left over I keep playing with. It may not be a huge amount, but it is 3 more sessions of play I can have - instead of blowing it all chasing a $1k+ win that rarely happens. I mean, if someone said 'give me $50 and I'll give you $150' surely you would take it? Set limits and stick to them...it works.

A lot of people who say they 'never cash out' - it is not the same as not being able to cash out. How many times have we hit $300 or $400 and thought "Hey Im gonna aim for $500 and cashout" - and lose it all in the process. If you had cashed out $300, and lost the other $100 then at least you didnt lose everything eh?

Im telling you, it will make you a much happier gambler! :)

I am a happy gambler on all other platforms apart from Rival. I know what you have read sounds unbelievable I understand, however its completely true. I would love to get all of my stats and crunch the numbers but theres simply too much info. We're talking over 1 years worth, at virtually every Rival casino there is. My winner screenies this last year have all been RTG, Microgaming and even Topgame. I assure you I'm not a crazy gambler and my results at other casinos show that.
I have not once made a play through in over a year and when i deposit straight without bonuses the money just goes. Chance would be a fine thing of even doubling my money at Rival. Another thing as well you might no be taking into consideration is, I have actually won at Rival casinos in the past and made a few nice cash outs. The problem being with that is, it was 1 year 3 months ago!

What is your typical deposit? Do you have a cashout goal? For example, in another thread here, someone said they double their deposit and cashout. Are you saying that you've never been able to double your deposit? Or are you saying that, for example, you deposit 100 pounds, work it up to, say, 325 pounds, but then keep playing and lose it? Then that's part of your problem, since over the long-term, every single player is going to lose to the casino; it's a statistical fact, unfortunately.

My typical deposits have been any where between $£25-100. The last year and three months i've never made a playthrough and when I have made a pure deposit with no bonus my money just would just dwindle down to nothing. If I tripled my deposit of say $£ I would have definatly withdraw. the thing that im saying is that i've never been in the position or had the luxury to withdraw.
I'm not a bad gambler for sure. I feel that I have had the most horredous luck or somthing like that. Whatever it is, it put me in a place, metally were I dont wont to go again let me tell you. Its a fucking horrible feeling I can assure you of that.
If any thing good has come out of this, then its me finally being able to walk away from the whole bum deal with my sanity intact. Also, letting other people know, if it happened to me then is possible it could happen to you.

How are you sizing your bets? On a slot like Scary Rich, the really nice bonus rounds only come about once every 300-400 spins. If you ARE unlucky (as you surmise), then let's say you get a nice bonus round every 600 spins. And at £2 per spin, for example, you'd have to deposit £1,200 before hitting something nice (in theory).
