Friendly support but holy crap.

Scott: Hi, how can I help?
Me: Hi. Could you please tell me how much I wagered during my last session with my $260 balance?
Scott: I will have a look for you now
Me: Thank you.
Scott: In your last session, you wagered through a total of $697.14
Me: Thanks. How much did I need to wager to clear my bonus?
Scott: On the account at this time, your balance s zero so you have no wagering requirement outstanding
Me: Yes, but how much did I need to wager? $697 on $260 while low betting seems like a very bad first experience.
Me: Could you tell me my RTP?
Scott: I am sorry of you feel you have had a bad first experience , but I will have a look at your RTP for you now
Me: Thanks
Scott: Your RTP for this session was 63%
Me: I see.
Scott: This may not seem that great, but it is over one session, and it is possible to have a bad session I am afraid
Me: Ok
Me: Have a nice day.
Scott: Take care and I hope you have a great day too

That's a bad session for sure, but you're on a fairly small number of spins I would think?

What were your wagers and on what slot?

To give you an idea, one horror session at Jackpot Party that I felt compelled to ask for my logs for, over 3175 spins I managed an RTP of 68.53%, but that was on our dearest high variance friend Mr Bruce Lee :D

I personally don't think MG slots play any different at 32Red than they do anywhere else, they can be equally brutal at all MG casinos if you catch them wrong!

I don't know how many spins, but not a lot since my playtime was very short obviously. Betting in the $0.45 to $0.90 range with a $260 bankroll. Played Battlestar Galactica, IR, Leagues of Fortune, Dolphin Coast, Twisted Circus and played my last $10 at BDBA.

While most of these are higher variance, I almost exclusively play MG and I've had bad sessions before, but nowhere near that one. I mean come on, wagering $697 on $260? Low rolling? This has to be was my single worst session, including land based casinos. I'm not blaming 32Red, I'm basically just venting.

I have had tons of such percentages, at all casinos i play at... nothing special really.
All games are pretty capable of long dry spells as you should know, especially the ones you played in this session:
If your experience is otherwise, then i'd say you have been pretty lucky so far.

Having a low RTP on a $20 deposit or having a low RTP on a $300 deposit betting $3/spin is understandable, common and should be expected.

Having such an abysmal RTP with a fairly large bankroll for the bet size was a first.

I've had terrible luck playing at Microgaming casinos. Over fifty deposits and only a couple withdrawals.

The features and winnings are predetermined... During a bad session features have a tendency to repetitively result in a terrible outcome regardless of the slot or bet size. You're balance just continues to dwindle often receiving a feature just before busting out. On the upside the base game is random and can result in a few nice wins.

Cash outs at 32 Red are always fast. The customer service is great. Unfortunately deposits just don't last very long.

I don't play Microgaming anymore. I've uninstalled the software. Not impressed. The game play irritates me.

I'm really looking forward to giving the Virgin casino a shot.

I am not sure whether your switch in games has got to do with your poor RTP. Normally if you stick to a slot for long enough you normally get something back.

I too had an awful experience at 32Red when I joined.

So for me, it was my first and last day of playing there.
Quite simple really, whoever wants my business makes it worth my while coming back, and 32Red didn't offer a flicker of a reason for me to want to play there again. Dull and terrible RTP.

So they went on my "thanks but no thanks" list of casinos, I have plenty of other places to bet :)

But 32Red have exactly the same slots paying exactly the same RTPs as any other MG casino.

Now if you've got a global problem with MG then that's a different matter, but you can't single 32Red out IMO.

I don't play much MG because I think there are better slots out there, but when I do, I play at 32Red.

My first experience at 32 Red ( oh well, ok it might of been the 2nd or third) but I know it was in that bracket :p Anyhooooo..... I got the 5 sapphires and x5 wilds at 90 cents a spin and it paid a mint;)

I'd probable be playing there all the time if the currency difference wasn't a little too steep for me:o Have discussed it with chat and they have told me to close my account and reopen it in a currency that's within my budget and Im going to do exactly that, once I've made enough comp points to cash in because I've nearly hit that limit again:) and might as well use them before I close my account and make another one

Same here. I know 32Red have a great rating on this site and many players think highly of them, but you can only speak as you find.

Some months ago I joined up and deposited £50 and got a welcome bonus (can't remember what it was now) Anyway, I played the lot through on £2 or so bets and did not get one win, zero! I thought I'd call it a day then and moved on.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to give them another go given their great reputation and deposited £50. I played a new slot game for me (Alaskan Fishing) and whilst I had a few minor wins I was soon down to a balance of zero. I rang the customer service number and asked the operative to check my play history. He agreed it was poor and kindly agreed a 50% deposit bonus. I deposited £50 and played through £75 again without one win!

So whilst I do realise that you can have bad luck with any casino, I took the decision that enough was enough and asked to close my account to be told this was a management decision and could not be done for 3 days! Strange, but 3 days later my account was closed.

The thing is when a new player joins 32 Red there isnt someone waiting there to flick a switch to let new players win , If it worked like that then players could go through every casino depositing 20 pound then making a proffit and withdraw it.

I havent being at 32 Red long and everytime i have being there i have lost... Well thats gambling and thats Business (Running a online casino isnt cheap)

If you loose at a Online Casino dont think about the loss. Think about the day when 5 Scatter drop in front of your Face, Or that number you accidenty put a 50 chip on instead of a 5 drops in , or the day that coupe of pennys in your account drops a jackpot.

We all want to win but we all dont win.

So... you don't want to play a casino whose games are completely random - you want to play somewhere where they can "tweak" the outcomes of the games and so make sure your first experience with them is a positive one...?
Each to their own, but good luck with that! :eek2:

Gambling

Hello all.In the future I am planning on giving Red 32 a shot, as they are a top global online casino, and I can legally gamble with them, than the deal my government <Canada> has made with IGT that would affect me to play slots at Virgin Casino.

The casinos always have their edge against you. There are also other people playing the same machine as you online.

The edge is higher on low coin levels <penny, 2 cents, 5 cent> than if you played higher, and that is the case even if you max bet the machine.

I try to stick with a 10%-20% of my bankroll amount for the day.

$260 is not a big bankroll by casinos terms.

The professional gamblers don't make their living off of slots. They do so off of table games, sports betting, horse betting.

Sometimes gambling online can be a lot of fun, as I play poker online and have done sports betting online.Sometimes a physical casino is the way to go too.

Even investing globally is becoming more difficult, if you're not rich to start with.

If I put $20 in a slot machine, I could lose it all, I could double it up, I could lose half or win half of the buy in, or hit a major jackpot.

Just to win 10%-20% is an alright win off of the one armed bandit.

I think the expectations are much too high on what are negative expectation games of chance.

Not sure exactly which sort of slots you are talking about here - but that is definitely not true on any online softwares that I know of.

That is not true. But i will explain why you think this.

If you play a slot obviasly you want to win big,Most of the time on very small stakes you dont big so you carry on going because you want to win big.

So for instance if you deposited 20 pound and wanted to get to 200 pound you wouls most probably have to get the Feature at least 6-7 times in quick sucsession.

BUT if you were playing on 2.50 a spin you would probably only need to get the feature 2-3 times to reach the 200 your after. so it seams like you you win alot quicker when your stakes are higher (which is what the casino wants you to do ''bet big''

The moral is , Bet small win small , bet big win big and obviasly because your betting big the quicker you reach your target but also the quicker your balance goes down.

Saying all that jackpots get won on 20 pence play , its all luck and sometimes Skill.

Im sure ''Rainmaker'' (knows all about slots) will be along soon and explain it simpler :)

You do realize that you shouldn't expect any playtime by betting £2/spin on a £50 deposit right? This is NOT what this thread was all about.

I think there needs to be thread started at Casinomeister that's called '''Gambling''

And it explains to people what '''Gambling''' Means!

I've pretty much tried ALL the different software and overall after 8 plus years of playing online I can say microgaming by far pay the best. I pretty much made the EXACT same thread as you balthazar on 32red a few years back. My deposits would last only an hour or so. however, One day I made a $50 deposit and then ended up cashing out $15,000 from them. I got my balance up to around $2000 playing blackjack and a few different slot games then went over to my favorite game BDBA. I started betting small and was hitting the free games a bit so I upped my bet to $22.50 a spin and I hit 4 gold bars with a wild symbol and that alone paid me $7500. I got my balance up to about $17,000 and played it down to 15,000. Since then I havent made a SINGLE withdrawal from a MG casino. Ive only hit a couple of 100X bets and thats it. No, I dont think the software is rigged but I Do believe the software remembers your RTP and will pay out based on that. A slot machine or table game should NOT remember your lasty play session or how much you won, but I have a funny feeling it does.

Over the years here at casinomeister we have had some REALLY smart members who were BIG punters. There was one woman ( forget her name and alias) but she would ONLY play video poker and nothing less than $100 per hand. She would pretty much play everyday. Quite often she would hit a royal flush and get paid $20,000 PLUS on a good session for her but as soon as she did hit big a massive dry spell would come after this. She would try other casinos and they would all be dry aswell. She was convinced the software would remember her playtime.
