THIS WAS A POST FROM A POKER FORUM. I DOUBLE CHECKED SOME OF THE INFORMATION AND PHONE THE NUMBER LISTED, IT CHECKS OUT

I'm an employee of Bodog, our customer service is located in Vancouver, Canada, TripleCrown is
the name of the company that does the customer service and process payments via Western Union, you know, Quezon City, using a company named Gateswitch...I had enough of Bodog, customers are not getting pay, we have thousands of client that have not gotten pay in over two months and we have hundreds of clients that are getting checks but they go NSF, ...be smart, don't play at Bodog...if you used your bank account to make deposits, your deposits will be pending forever, which means you cannot get a payout while you have pending deposits - why is that, because Bodog is not getting pay by these processors which are collecting the money, which is your money...if you are not getting pay then contact the company behind Bodog in Vancouver, here is their website www.triplecrowncs.com at 604-639-3423 - don't believe me, check out their website...for those lucky clients lucky enough to get pay, your check by mail takes about 8 weeks and keep in mind, that newton finance, cumberland finance, etc, may give you a check that will go NSF...we have clients that have had their banks accounts closed and accused of fraud by their banks because they deposited their checks from Bodog only to find out later that they go NSF, people are getting in trouble with their banks because of Bodog.
Furthermore, Western Union is fine, but keep in mind that the company they use to process those payments is Gateswitch, the people running Gateswitch were arrested last week in Utah, so if you feel safe using Western Union knowing that the police are on to them, then go ahead, don't forget that you are using your real name to pick up those funds

I emailed bodog regarding my delayed cashin and included this. Got an email response, but failed to comment on this employees post. For good reason the employee used an alias as he is still employed there as of 5/28 when he/she posted this.

If you ask me, I have to agree that this "inside info" is total bullshit. Every piece of information included in the post is common knowledge; nothing new. I also agree that it sounds like a player that is pissed off about the wait to get PAID, not pay.

EVERYTHING HE SAYS IS ACCURATE-WHY DOUBT IT

There is nothing in the post that is not true. Peoples checks have bounced, it is posted here, people have been waiting over a month for check and WU is even delayed.

The poster provides additional behind the scenes information. Such as the extent of the delays and bounced checks. And another source of contact if we start getting the runaround.

PLUS, I found it odd that bodog did not even mention a thing when I included this in my email. Like "these accusations are not true". Just got the same old, checks are being delayed email from them.

There are some honest people that don't like to see people being taken advantage of. It doesn't sound like a disgruntled player and the person had never posted on the forum before, according to forum members that posted on the thread.

I think it is true but everyone can draw their own conclusion.

P.S. players are posting on poker forums and casino forums other than this one, complaining about Bodog delays, bounced checks. These players are not all from the U.S. That is not a good thing.

Let's see what the other side says about this - I've forwarded a link to this thread to a Bodog management contact.

There are a lot of problems with payment processors due to UIGEA.

It is not that Bodog doesn't want to pay, it is that they cannot pay because of their processors. You've got to know this is hurting Bodog big time.

The fact that even a large outfit like Bodog with a previously great reputation cannot pay is very scary.

Processing is a little known aspect of this business (to me too) and it is THE problem facing all, casinos, webmasters and players.

A lot of the usual processors have pulled out since UIGEA and have been replaced by unreliable or inexperienced ones.

Lets hope a lot of players become politically active to stop the effects of UIGEA, otherwise things can only get worse. Eventually this is likely to affect all the places you can play.

IMO this employee is telling the truth, but putting a negative slant re, Bodog on it. Must be the usual disgruntled empolyee we hear from.

Words of wisdom. And something I was considering posting myself. The 270 (?) day grace period is drawing to an end, and I only see things getting worse for the US player.

It has been stated many times on this board by Bryan, and by others...but bears repeating again. Those US players still depositing and playing may want to give serious thought to stopping altogether, period!! Yes, there are still a couple of options for depositing, and one (maybe two) for withdrawals. But where is the guarantee that these will still be available tomorrow, or next week?

Bodog was one of the last places left to US players that were still paying in a timely manner. The fact that even they are now experiencing these delays should tell you guys something. Inetbet still seems able to process a quick withdrawal, but who's to say that won't change also? And it won't be their fault...but if their processor pulls out without warning or is no longer able to process those super fast wire transfers...then what?

Ideally, everytime a US player goes to make a deposit, a screen should pop up warning everyone about potential payout delays. And there should be a warning on EVERY website that offers information on casinos or downloads to casinos. Not everyone reads Casinomeister, or other gambling forums. Believe it or not, there are still people out there with very little information about what's going on in regards to payment problems. But neither of those things is going to happen.

So those of you who ARE aware of the problems need to do some thinking if it's still worth the hassle and possible stress down the road to collect your winnings. The casinos will continue to take the deposits as long as they can, that's their business. It's up to an "informed" gambler to decide whether or not to continue giving them their money. You guys have to accept SOME responsibility from this point on.

Unfortunately you are correct, I made the choice to stop online gaming when I had all the trouble over the past few months trying to get money out. You have to think realistically that things are only going to get worse. Then it is up to the individual to decide.

How about a faster way of paying...

Bodog should do what several other sportsbooks do. Pay at least one Fedex to each client per month. Then you get your money in two-three days. I recently made a cashout at another sportsbook. They paid me by FedEx and Bam! The check came in two days! Now thats the way to go.... BoDog is a big enough operation to do this. I know it will cost them some cash. But everyone will be paid in a timely manner and happy :D And will continue or want to play there

TOTALLY AGREE

I agree u.s. players need to get out. I played with the last bit of funds in my Click2pay account and then closed it.

I am waiting for 4 payments. one from bodog. But as my post on the other bodog thread says, I did not even initiate a check withdrawal from bodog. They intiated the withdrawal and when I was notified I asked to change to western union and they said it was too late. Since they erroneously initated it I think they should have allowed me to change to a method that I wanted.

Also, they are delaying payment to non-u.s also. They keep saying they have a new processor and things getting better. But I see old posts on other sites dated march and april and they were giving the same song and dance then.

So this is not a new problem. Even a news piece on off shore gaming association site regarding bodog and their delays, also not recent. In march OSGA reported number of complaints finally decreasing. I assume they are going up again.

But how can they go from saying processing time getting better on May15 and then 3 days later extend the time from 7-15 days to up to 30 days and some people not paid for 2 months and many with NSF checks?

And why can't they do wire-transfers like eco card. Other poker sites are paying within 7 days according to posts on poker forums. They have even downgraded bodog on poker sites.

As I say it is not just u.s. player not getting paid. So perhaps there is another issue.

But there is nothing anyone can do but let others know not to play there unless they are willing to wait l-2 months maybe more to get paid.

I closed all my wallets because I have quit playing. Depositing is still very easy but not being paid timely is unacceptable.

NOT FUN ANYMORE!!!

it has nothing to do with how the checks are delivered. it is the checks themselves!

BODOG-FEDEX

My check was to be issued via Fedex, once they process the check that is.

A few people, not many were able to get money via western union within a week. That is what I asked for.

The processing landscape changes from day to day. What may work at 5am may not work anymore at 5pm. Casinos scramble to stay one step ahead, and the few who have a solution don't share.

There are even reports of processors making off with the money, so casinos have to beware who they deal with.

It's all changed now, casinos sit on money they cannot distribute. They would just love to send it out and get back to business as normal, they are losing customers left and right.

It is sad to watch, and the ONLY cure is to protest UIGEA and be supportive of Frank and others who try to solve the situation.

Just from reading the news... And you can't blame the processors for pulling out. Processors within reach of the DoJ storm troopers are being intimidated, investigated, and arrested left and right. Funds and personal property are frozen, seized, confiscated, whatever you want to call it. The DoJ has decided that they're going after online gambling with all due diligence and we (and the casinos) are feeling the result of their enthusiasm for the task.

And it SUCKS!

I AGREE IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND PROCESSORS

BUT.......non-u.s. players payouts delayed also, surely they have a seperate processor for non-u.s. as it would be stupid to pay the higher charge for high risk processing for non-u.s. payouts.

Also, some players are reporting payments via WU within 5 days while others waiting 4 weeks, I am talking about u.s. players. So the process is not being managed well in my opinion.

I just want to get all my payments in asap. So I can be done with this mess.

PLUS the reason these casinos are getting ripped off by processors is
more than likely because they have no system set up to followup on the transactions as they are processed. They should be requiring at minimum a daily transaction report, from these processors. That includes transaction number assigned by the casino, players name, amount, date, name and address of the issuing bank. Surely they have an accounting system set up to imput and track these transactions daily. But from the sound of it, the system is not well organized.

So, when you don't stay on top of these payments it is easy for the processor to rip you off. And it is our money they are taking.

I still dont get it though

How Come Club World can pay on time and none else can? Im just curious. They have called ME (me not them) to give me updates etc...

You are right, it is more difficult to get payouts here in the US but when I played at Bodog, they were still paying out. I guess until Club World messes up, Ill still play.

If your a US player and like RTG, CW is the way to go. I have never waited more than 24 hours (because it was weekend) to get approved and never waited more than 7 days for a Wire Transfer.

You know whats real funny? One time I went to make a deposit and clicked on the wrong deposit method in error (I used my closed debit one). It got rejected and within minutes I got a phone call from England telling me I picked the wrong acct in error. It was only a $20 deposit, so it wasnt like they were going to miss out on a huge deposit.

It is usually a prossesor problem, but casino volume varries, where one casino can call every customer , too casinos barley being able to answer a phone.
I have been in different online casinos that do 2 to 3 thousand per day, with 5 to 10 total deposits and 1 to 5 withdrawals, to a casino in the building next door doing around 100k per day with hundreds of deposits and withdrawals daily. So unless you know how much the casino you are playing at does each day, there will always be discrepencies and certain things.

Please use discretion when posting information like this. There is a lot of information that could be used by agencies that monitor this forum, and you should use a grain of salt when dealing with these types of posts. Bodog contacted me regarding this ex-employee that is posting privileged and erroneous information. I don't mind you referring to postings in other forums, but if it is damaging information (especially information that might be false), then that is another issue in itself.

Please don't cross-post either. Thanks!

if you used your bank account to make deposits, your deposits will be pending forever, which means you cannot get a payout while you have pending deposits

All i can say is that part of the statement is 100% true , ive had a pending for about 3 months , and its still pending .

During this time i made a hit for about 3k and couldnt withdraw it due to the pending , i kept emailing them and they kept telling me 1 or 2 more days and it never went away , and little by little day by day i lost it all .
