Hi all. Just some advice needed pls. To keep it short, coz I suspect they're right.
My wife has recently started having a few spins now and again. (Thought I'd never see the day), but about 6 weeks ago, she deposited £50 and received £100 bonus. She was so excited when she got a random jackpot spin and won 1 of the 3 bonuses which equalled approx £3000. She carried on spinning and I think the following day made a withdrawal request for £3000. 2/3 days after confirmation of the withdrawal she received an email saying she had breached rule No.??? and her winnings were confiscated and that her original deposit of £50 was in her account. No bonus, just £50. She played and lost it. She had wagered slightly more than the permitted max wagering under the bonus rules. I know EVERYBODY should ALWAYS read the T and C's like EVERYONE does. I then see that the bonus laws/rules have changed and was wondering if she has a leg to stand on if she was to challenge the decision. Only after winning the 3000 did she ever go above the maximum and this probably occurred maybe 20 times. NO money was won on ANY said spin. She honesty knew nothing of the conditions and feels, 'not too happy' with the casino involved and the decision to, as she puts it, 'rob her of her winnings. To me it seemed very abrupt and seemed rather rushed thru and then I.noticed many/all the casinos had changed their t's and c's probably because of a change in law. I'm willing to accept the decision if I'm told that there's nothing she/we can do but as I said, to me it seemed very harsh. Thanx for reading. (And good luck)

Some casinos might put the balance back to where it was before the breach of terms was made. Though its probably less likely they would consider that if she spent the 50 they had returned after cancelling the bonus. And not many would consider it anyway, only a few gems in the industry do that for players who made a genuine mistake.
Probably been answered before, but im curious where those progressive jackpot funds will dissapear to, my gutt is telling me not back into the progressive pot

Sad state of affairs man, sorry to hear. She must be fuming.

With wagering more than the max wager I assume you mean betting more than max? Never heard of a cap on wagering, only bet size.

In either case you should see if the casino has a rep here on CM, I've seen casino decisions like those reversed by CM reps here before and it's certainly possible again.

Thanx to both for replies. A good point about 'where the money goes', and I also agree that it would be good and FAIR to put balance back to where it was before mistake. The one single reason she up-ed the stake was that her balance had grown due to her 'jackpot spin' and if it was worked out then she probably went over the max bet 0.03% of the entire spin!!! So to me an obvious mistake. Yeah I meant 'bet size' 4048, and thanx for the advice about the 'rep'. Off to look now. Am I right in saying that this probably couldn't happen as from say now because of these new bonus rules/law that are JUST making their entrance?
