Good morning all 5 am , all packed to go fishing , and one too many coffees

ive been reading through some of the threads , and i see to find a common theme of people who take bonuses say they start off well , have good hits then dry up before making the playthrough , as if someone flicked the switch off

i was looking through my own deposits and play
generally im a low depositor 30 or 40 $ but i still like to bet 40 , 60 or 80 cents a spin
i have gone through 7 deposits of $30 without a bonus at a mg casino and only once have i been in a position to withdraw ( $70 ) up
at my favorite RTG site , i have been in a possible cashout position 5 of last 8 times using 50% or 100% or the big christmas 200% deposit bonus
at the rtg site , it has only been my lack of discipline that has stopped me cashing 3 of those 5 times , betting too high , (hate to admit it but possible tilt after missing a 5 in line of the best payout ) , sticking on losing machines too long
at the mg site , i realize when i deposit 30 and bet 60c im not doing myself any favors as if i dont hit on 2 machines im dead very quicky at those prices.
the deposit bonus makes it more flexible and i might try 4 or 5 machines and maybe thats where my luck comes from and not the actual software pumping me up cause i have playthough to make

allso i notice when i have more cash , i will play lots more games when a machine isnt paying looking for the winning one , 50 spins , no freebies , move machines
when low in cash i might go 100 spins on one machine waiting or demanding a free spin on a machine ( it owes me ) mentality

im wondering if other people who have posted that when taking a bonus they hit big , then get sucked out before the wager x requirements have been notice a difference in their play
do you bet bigger trying to get your balance up ?
stay on a machine too long ?
get the losing mentality and say well its going to suck it anyways .
have a set cash out amount say $150 , be on 145 and spend 100 bucks trying to make the last $5 instead of saying 145 is good.

i suppose this debate can be settled allso by any casino operator say for RTG telling us if the main servers knows the difference between me putting in $100 cash or $50 with 100% when it comes to their rng.
ie when i spin 50c at (golden parrot casino ) with a balance of $100 does main server know that $50 of my balance is the casinos , or does only the casino know my playthrough balance

ok hope this makes sense , very tired , off to catch a snapper or two

good luck all

I have to answer yes to a lot of your questions, like playing back my winnings chasing the last $X of the some goal I have in my mind or being determined to get a feature off of this #@%& slot.

Also, I think I've noticed HOW I FEEL about the money I'm playing with has an affect on how I play. (Casinos (online, B&M) have made a science out of making us feel divorced from the actual value of our cash.) I'm a little more reckless with free chips than I am with actual deposits. Big Risks are often balanced with Big Rewards which is why we take big risks in first place. Which also means that there is no middle when taking big risks, you either touch the stars or go splat on the ground.

You can certainly learn your lesson the hard way in this game. Most people who play online will tell you if they could start all over again, knowing what they know now, could probably make a small fortune by cutting out all those early day experiences.

i too am a small depositor (nowadays i tend not to play much but when i used to play lots my deposits were only around 100 a month in 6-7 small deposits)

in my years of gambling only twice have i met the WR of any bonus, i dont think of them being ideal for style i play (i play for a set amount of time, and after even if im only a few up/down i will cash it out)

if i ever hit anything decent with a bonus it would usually end with me thinking "why did i get this bonus, i could of cashed out a decent amount otherwise" since i might hit big to begin with but then still have a few K left of my WR and of course would just lose the lot before making it...

To be honest when i used to play with bonuses ages ago my thoughts before playing were "right, i know im not going to meet the WR, but at least the bonus will give me an extra hour maybe of game time". So i decided its not worth playing with them because quite simply i wasnt getting any withdraws.

Since not playing with bonuses if anything my luck has gone up when i do play (as i mention, not as much as i used to), in the last 60 days my profits from 3 casinos have reached the 2500 mark, each of thoese 3 casinos giving me a profit... and i know for certain i wouldnt of seen any of thoese withdraws had i taken a bonus (since i played mainly BJ, which is only 1/4 towards WR but is what i mainly profited from The 100 or so spins i had on slots with thoese casinos barely gave me anything)

If i was the depositer i once was then i would occasionally claim a bonus on a 100+ deposit (because i would get more spins thus be able to bet higher for bigger wins), however since my max deposit nowadays is only around the 50 mark a bonus would only give me around 100 to play with, therefore if i try to hit anything big which improves my chance of meeting the WR, i'll wager 0.80p+ but of course 90% of the time all would be lost before anything good is hit

cheers for the replies guys
and cheers kasino , yer fishing was good , 5 snapper and the weather was calm with only a mild case of 4th degree sunburn .

yes it seems their are a lot of things the player does , that affect the outcome rather than the casino

the same can be said of playing poker , it can come down to tilt

ive started taking the bigger bonus offers every now and then after ive had a win , but basically my average deposit is 30 to 60 without one and around 90 with a bonus , i do it more for a... ( i wouldnt mind betting 2 bux a spin on this game ) , which i couldnt do with my bank roll normally

i have found my biggest downfall is slight greed i suppose
i can think of many many times i have deposited 30 without a bonus , been up to 80 or 90 $ and not thinking its a good enough collect
but when i bust i realize how good that $60 up was.

and lastly . can anyone tell us if i take a deposit bonus , does anyone besides the casino know my balance needs playthrough ? does the main server where the spins are produced know that my balance isnt all mine ?

cheers all good luck
