Monzo Bank Ability to block gambling transactions

I use Monzo more and more now for personal but there latest in App update is pretty damn good for those struggling with gambling. Basically you can switch on ability to block all gambling transactions and to turn it back on again you would need to call the banks support to stop impulse switch off . Pretty damn good and innovative if you ask me. And if a relative new start up can do this surley other banks could

I always said it'd be great if banks could directly intervene and cut down gambling, whilst being linked to e-wallets and the like, not just casinos.

Sounds great and I hope it takes off with the bigger banks too

Yep its a great idea I just tested it by activating the block (not gambling anyway right now aside from 20 /30 p/m in VS ) I will test it when I deposit in a few days at VS see if it blocks the transaction which it should do I recon. Not that I would gamble with that account anyway.
