Are you saying the 20% cash back is poor mrjones? If so, what do you think is acceptable, and do you recommend anyone?
I've relaxed with my deposits just recently, as I'm currently going through a mini personal audit, and slowly eliminating casinos from my list so I can just stick with 2 or 3 and build a solid 'vip' relationship, rather than continuing to spread my money between so many sites, resulting in limited, or no value in terms of offers in return.
I regularly deposit without claiming deposit bonuses, and average approximately $2,000 - $5,000+ in deposits per month. I also hardly ever make withdrawals due to my own stupidity, but this is because I enjoy taking risks in search of the big one (as stupid as it sounds). So basically I'm a casinos 'stupid' model customer, lol.
I'm interested in your comment, as I'd like to know what I should be expecting from a site I show loyalty, as I'm constant learning from this site that I have definitely been taken for granted by some casinos in the past. One example is $70,000 deposited across two casinos in particular, over less than a 2 month period, with no withdrawals, and as I wasn't familiar with the concept of comps etc at the time, I was only ever offered maybe three bonuses of $100 - $200 in bonus funds by the VIP managers, to get me to return and continue playing.
Obviously it was a hard loss that hurt (my pride mainly), but not enough to ruin me or anything like that, as I spend what I can afford, however after a break to reassess things, I haven't returned to those sites, as now I feel much more educated on the system due to this site in particular. I still have those VIP managers contacting me asking me to return, and I'm constantly telling them thanks but no thanks, I'm happy at the sites I now play at. I'm pretty angry that I wasted my money on them, as had I known then what I know now, I would have much rather loss that money to some of the casinos I play at now, because I trust them more due to my interactions with reps via this site, and I know they would have looked after me much better considering the money I was spending and losing. Lesson learnt, but now I'm always extremely weary, which ultimately has ruined my all round experience, as I don't feel I can ever really trust any casino 100%.
That's why I'd love your input regarding what you think is fair treatment, and what I should really be looking for (or to get inreturn) in a player/casino relationship, given my spending is still worthy of working towards VIP status, and I still may revisit my high roller days should I find the right venue. I mean I'm sure I don't have to explain my surprise when I discovered through this site that some casinos offer up to 25% cash back on any standard deposits across the board. I was making $500 - $3,000 deposits at a time, up to 3-4 times a session. Again, I know this was stupid in hindsight, but my situation at the time meant I had more time and money, than I did sense. Hopefully I now have more sense and money, but less time to waste it all, lol. This is why some may think my discussions with reps publicly may be treading a fine line, but I operate within Bryan's rules, and will ask many questions of an organisation should I feel that somethings not right, or I have been taken for a ride, given my previous experience.
This site was a God send, in it gives us players such a great medium to have a legitimate, and direct voice, should any issues occur. Touch wood I have never had to get Bryan or Max (hope I got that name right) help me with a PAB, but from the work I've seen them do for others, I honestly think they are still under appreciated given their value to the common punters. (I should put a disclaimer here, that I know they are still very appreciated, so please don't any members stone me. It was meant as a compliment to draw added attention to their worth
).
Maybe I should have started a new thread given the length of my post, but hopefully I get some feedback.
