It's been reported by two legitimate online gamblers on two different sites, that they each received emails today from the supposedly defunct Montana Overseas Disputes stating that their cases were "under review."

This is very odd, and like the original closure, comes without notice..

Whazzup???

I spoke with one of the Hastings guys in London last week and all open Montana disputes will be dealt with as soon as everything is set up 100%. Still no timeline, but it should be soon. Perhaps they are getting things in gear.

That's good news, and I'm glad to learn they're not abandoning all of those ongoing disputes..(what will all of the hours of typing involved...:)

Interesting too, that the recent emails folks received were from Montana - not Hastings......

Help with montana

what about people who haven't filed because they were closed? Can I file a dispute with them and how do I start? I did PAB will that be sent to them or do I need to do it myself? thanks for your help Patti

Any PAB that I've thrown my hands in the air with a "fuck it" will be forwarded to Hastings when they get their act in gear. It's just a matter of having a lot of patience.

Please excuse the usage of the eff word, but it just didn't have the same effect without it.

Mods, someone,
Should Casinomeister be suspended 7 days for using profanity:D :D

Regarding profane statements..

When the F^%* are the RTG execs going to get their act in gear?

Talk about being propelled in what seems like a permanent downward spiral.

It's bordering now on farcial/absurd.

The mini-recap of RTG's award winning customer service strategy:

-Shut down YOUR dispute service, without any warning.
-Turn YOUR website into a high school level homepage
-Create a new enterprise - Hastings BV - that remains nothing more than a shell
-Have SOME emails generated to SOME players (myself strangely not included) via a weird Montana link - which incidentally, is inoperable to anybody who wishes to send a reply...- indicating the disputes are still
being "reviewed"
-Bury your cumulative heads in the sand while monumental fleecings of players continue unabated

Geez, I wonder why everyone is so skeptical with so many aspects of this industry?

C'mon RTG: GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER SOON

ENOUGH OF THE BS ALREADY!!!!!!

PS - TO "OLIVER CURRAN": I understand Webster's is including your name/moniker as a synonym for "below board scoundrel"..... Really, how do you (or your many aliases) sleep at night?

I think I can help you answer that.

He sleeps well knowing and taking pride in how many people that he has conned and cheated out of their money. The more people he cheats the easier he sleeps.

It's more like a reverse effect already since he's so used to it. I wonder how he sleeps if he DONT have anyone to con?!?!? That should be more the question. (when Hastings or Montana gets their act together)

Curiously enough, there was a flurry of activity here, just prior to the ICE and ICEi shows in London.

Heck, even good 'ol Oliver chimed in with a pithy comment or two (of course still ducking the many PM's and threads where he and his "merry men" were exposed for what they really are - pathological thieves.)

As for RTG corporate honchos, well they still are claiming that this Hastings BV entity will be up and running "very soon" and voila! - all our troubles will be solved!

Pardon my cyncism - and skepticism - but I think the whole bloody lot of them (RTG, The Crystal Gaming Group, and the 5-7 other major Realtime Gaming licensees) are simply employing the age old STALL TACTIC to avoid further ORGANIZED attempts to get them to pay up.

It's all a bunch of bs really, as they don't want to be confronted by MAINSTREAM media outlets who are truly moving in for the expose that should have been done years ago.....

And now as we head into the dead of winter, with most US bettors reduced to mere spectators (for now at least), I think the RTG bunch must feel pretty good about their chances of simply riding this one out, taking some minor shots (like this one!:D ) and then, 5-6 months down the road, reinvent themselves on their beautiful tropical island.

Great plan, except it requires that all of US ("us" being defined as those folks screwed royally by RTG licensees..) fade into the sunset.

Ain't gonna happen here, I'll tell you that much. I'm in for the long haul....and RTG better start to wake up pretty damned soon and realize that the BBC's , CNN's , Time-Warner's, and countless other well heeled media groups are ready to
P-O-U-N-C-E.

And they know how to get to Curacao!!!!

Just an FYI as to my current status - I got a response saying that the casino was contacted over a month ago by disputes.realtimegaming.com. Nothing since then... My original dispute was opened on May 12th of Last year...

Playing devil's advocate again,

But IMHO the above will just add fuel to the fire to get online gambling banned for good in the USA....until more "reputable" (read: Vegas casinos) can move in for the kill.

Unless the RTG is listed here - or is Bodog, I would avoid every single one of them.

The disputes center is still not operational even after I had been assured a number of times that it was happening within a week or two, or within a matter of days.

Players need to stop patronizing these casinos.

I'd take an MGM-Mirage, Harrah's, or Steve Wynn managed outfit any day of the week over the large number of weasels that run the online gambling universe right now.

Most of these guys should be locked up for petes sake! They are nothing more than cyber crooks of the highest order...AND just because they present the public with "entertaining" games - and easy access - doesn't make it ethically right to support them!

For those folks hooked on their online gambling fix - knowing it's being pushed by a large percentage of lowlifes - I'd get help pronto!

As for the mainstream media,,,,,,,,,we'll see what transpires in this realm....maybe something will happen, maybe it won't...but the element of surprise is always a good means to flesh out a coward!!!!!

Me too...I lived in Vegas and never heard of any casino out right cheating there customers from there winnings.

As far as the media goes it may impact what is going on in the US right now but to me i'd rather expose these cheaters for who they are than be worried about ever playing online again. After this experience with the crystal palace group I have no desire to play online again. The only way I would consider it if they resolved my issues and make good on there payouts. Even then I would be cauious of how much I bet. How can you ever trust if you were to win at ANY casino that you would get paid? I can't. It takes all the fun out of gambling.

Could anyone help me with highlighting quotes here?

Look at the increasing number of posts on this site - and others - involving non-payment to US players...it's beyond alarming; it's reached epidemic proportions!

I really have to laugh when posters preface their comments by "They used to be a reputable online casino..."

FACE THE FACTS FOLKS: If you live in the US, THERE ARE NO MORE "REPUTABLE" ONLINE CASINOS!!

Why not just take your money out back, pour some gasoline on it, and burn it!

In all seriousness, it's amazing to me how all of these casinos have taken the new US regs and twisted them to their advantage as a means NOT TO PAY WINNINGS! Un - f-ing - believable!!!

I welcome the day when all of these bastards are put out of business for good - and the big corporate giants start running the show for US interests. You guys in Europe and Asia can have your MIcrogaming's, RTG's , Playtech's etc. etc. I say good riddance to the whole bloody lot!!

Now if we could just get our money back that these thieves stole...

Keep up the pressure the Patti - and other sympathesizers - because we're VERY close to getting the media blitz we need!

It's St. Patti's Day and what a day it would be if the dispute board were to open i've been waiting since December. Just was wondering if anyone has heard anything on the opening or if it's ever gonna happen???

I've been "laying low" and will continue to do so - for awhile.

Besides the media group I mentioned, some big time international legal eagles are looking into this.....

I share your frustration patti, and unfortunately, the restrictive US legislation has hurt us as much as the unsavory casino operators.

Hang in there....and stay strong,,,it will turn sooner or later.....

I've been having a problem with Cirrus over the way I made a withdraw.

I filed a PAB Here and at the same time filed with Hastings. I assumed that I would never hear anything from Hastings. Once Casino Miester Contacted Allison Porter the Casino Manager thing got going quite well. She was very apologetic and helpful. Thanks CM! but I digress.

I received this letter from Hastings the other day. I replied that I would consider it closed when I see the check and it clears my account.

They must at least be looking at the complaints they get.

An update has been made to dispute # xxxx

Comment: Dear Mr. Axxxx, We see that a check was issued to you on the 12th of this month. Please advise if you have need to pursue this matter, otherwise we will be closing the Dispute in your favor and take no further action as funds have been issued. Regards Hastings Dispute Resolution Team
