Monopoly Live - Is it a Slot, Table Game or Lottery Game?? And wth is going on in those Live rooms! I just reacted to a screenshot of @nikantw which displayed an undesirable sequence of numbers, and commented the following:

Hmm, been checking Monopoly Live for the last few days..seen a lot of it, and i mean a LOT of those sequences and worse...and then the chat..it's mental how much abuse is going on in there :eek2:

Started to make slightly more sense after seeing such results for long stretches, complete with technical errors costing me and other players money. Mind you i was only rolling a 10p on three fields most of the time, but still. I've seen autoplay boots at exactly the time a bonus would land, more than once, i've had a spin land on the 10, but the game history displayed a 2, and despite the outraged that screaming for their money (i'm guessing some bet more than 10p:D) the game went on and so far no refunds or player support tickets..

On two occasions i raised my own tickets due to bets not being accepted after they clearly were taken, and/or autoplay failure resulting in a missed bonus, which were never answered...

As a matter of fact, i'll repost this in a new thread, as i want people to read it and tell me if they experienced similar things?

As stated, i really would like to know from people what they think of this Slot/Table game or whatever it is. And tell me if they experienced the same extreme crudeness of the general players in chat. And what they feel about the fairness of the game's outcomes.

I have to say i personally leaned more and more towards 'rigged' the longer i played/watched it. Not just because continuous comments from other players, but the fact that the speed of the wheel seems a little too conveniently inconsistent in it's stopping speed, and the way it nudges from time to time, or how the flapper 'clings' onto the side of a segment border, as if there are magnets in play. Really weird, and i am a bit surprised i haven't seen any posts about it, as the players seem to be in constant outrage, and i'm sure a lot of streamers must have noticed that too, giving the 'issues' some more exposure, but i see nothing.

I'm always the last to say rigged, and my mind is constantly telling me, that i can't be right etc. but i'm really doubting the randomness in this game. Now i didn't read the paytable/rules, but just went with what you normally would expect from a Live Table game. This certainly feels more like a controlled lottery type of game.

Looking forward to any input here. Reps included, hence pre-fix.
Cheers!

Good post and good question.
I have not tried it yet and will not do so either, these kind of games do not interest me at all.
Just another game of chance I suppose.

Is it not in the same category like Keno, Bingo etc etc.
The results / outcome should be random and the wheel should stop at any spin at a random position.

But hey, I remember the days in The Netherlands when first the mechanic roulette wheels came out.
Some of the more dodgy b&m casinos, white label b&m's mostly had a certain mechanic roulette, forgot the name / brand but it was later found out these wheels were tampered with to influence the outcome, those wheels were then removed within days.

Lol, well i did say extreme crudeness, as a bit of blunt talk here and there can actually have a positive end-effect, but i mean...i've seen people telling other people to die, kill themselves, as well as players towards dealers, using the C-word and also telling them to kill themselves, even when typing this it sounds better than it actually was. And on only one occasion i saw someone actually receive a chat ban, but the fun part is that guy didn't even threaten anybody, he just posted an ASCI image of a German Tank, adding Hitler references :D

Of course that's bad, but not as bad as the players that i was talking about. And, it was not the exception but seemed to be the norm after every freaking 1 sequence, or cliffhanger-nudged bonusround...

I have no idea how it works and how it is tested and licensed.

But I guess any wheel can be easily rigged with a small metal stick going in and out the flapper, making it harder / softer and by doing so controlling the speed.

That said I totally trust them since they are available at accredited casinos.

Hey, i trust Accredited Casinos too, but not blindly, and never without a healthy dose of skepticism and/or openness towards possible foul play, by either employees or sub-licensees/new software-providers or whatever. Besides that, software has been pulled from reputable operators before, when being live for a longer stretch of time after launch. And it often passed the so called 'rigorous testing procedures' both in-house and external, before those games were launched...just saying.

I'm not particularly interested in your trust in the operators offering the Game, but your take on the game itself, after playing it. I too say to myself, it should all be fair and square, but as stated, after 4 long days of watching and testing, my doubts have gotten really strong. To the point that i no longer feel comfortable playing the game. Hence the thread:)

And mind you, i'm not saying it is intentionally rigged, but it's definitely flawed, the way it is now. I have experienced those issues, as described, and apart from the fact that just happens and isn't resolved, the communication between player, host, in-game live support and the Operator, seems to be too layered, and problem reporting seems useless as a result of that. I haven't even tried after the first two attempts.

But i feel it is bad enough to at least make my fellow players aware of the issues, and it's at the same time a great way to get feedback and/or confirmation of my own experiences...after all, it could just have been a very bad 4 days, right? :p

Game is ok .

Problem one the wheel speed can be seen to slow down unnaturally, especially going anti clock wise.

The dice throw is as bent as fk , pity they didn't use host to chuck real dice.

Bottom line is money & I would think its controlled to a point. Hence to why the first number is 7 mainly.

Add --- chat is sometimes very funny, if you can overlook the rage of abuse, but I think just sometimes they have a valid point. As for disconnects getting kicked etc. Etc it's never happened whilst I've played.

I haven’t played it and won’t for the simple reason the game (just like electronic roulette) will know where the the money is. As soon as I see games like this I fear the worst for players.

I am not going into depth I am tired of making my point where rigged vs random is concerned. You all know my view and it will never change. With this type of game it becomes obvious after constant play.

We're all sick of these terms constantly being bandied about. So perhaps we should start using code for them.

Banana= rigged

Apple= random

Orange= pseudo random

and if it all gets too much, the safeword is "corrupt"

I have gone back and played this quite a bit after winning ~500x on my first session from a 4 roll bonus; the results since have been less than favourable!

I have not experienced any disconnections, errors, etc.

Like every gambling session you can have good and bad runs, but the runs on this can be brutal.

I do have to question the wheel though.....

I am almost convinced that the material on the side of the "pegs" (sorry not sure what they are called) leading in to the segments with a 1 are made from a material that is much smoother, causing less friction and allowing the "pointer" move in to segment with less force; conversely, I think material on the side of the "pegs" leading out of the segments with a 1 are made from a material that is much rougher, causing more friction and making it more difficult for the "pointer" to over come.

Real tin foil hat stuff i know!

Monopoly Live is a very clever game. There is the potential for huge payouts, there's already been at least one 2000x and some other 1000+ x wins during the bonus round.

The game's been constructed to play on peoples desire to hit those payouts, and the only way to access them is by playing the 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls positions on the wheel. There's only one 4 Rolls which is where the potential lies and this has a 1 in 54 chance of hitting. The two Rolls has a 3 in 54 chance of hitting and on average only pays between 10x and 15x.

One of the problems is most players don't understand that they could be turning over their bankroll for a lot longer by playing just the 1 and 2 positions. In fact if they stopped playing the 2 Rolls and went for the 10 position instead they'd get a better payback at 4 in 54 chance of hitting.

The game has been designed to sucker people in to play either all spots, which guarantees a win of some sort each spin, a few spots including the 2 rolls and 4 Rolls or just the 2 rolls and 4 rolls. But the game is all about the 2 & 4 Rolls, if you're not playin g them they why play it - you'd get a better return on the original Dreamcatcher wheel if you're just playing the number spots.

It's like a slot on steroids, only worse, because with a slot you don't have loads of options of where to place your bet, you place it once then let the RNG control the outcome.

It's going to make Evolution and the operators a shit ton of money, absolutely no doubt about that.

I've never seen so much abuse in Chat and some of it very personal directed at the Presenters. I would hope this gets cleaned up in some way.

As for the glitches, I've experienced the Autoplay malfunctioning, but not at a time when the bonus round hit. I've also stopped playing and the very next spin hit the 4 rolls.

I've played sessions when i got 4 Rolls twice and two rolls 3 times in the space of 15 spins on the wheel. I've also seen sequences of 1&2's , people betting just those would have been cleaning up! But you don't hear or see them in chat boasting about those win streaks.

I've spunked too much on this game to know it's only going to end up one way. I've stopped chasing the 2000x win or even the 500x and now just load the game when i'm on my way to play some Blackjack.

Just wait until Deal or No Deal Arrives tomorrow, that's another opportunity to buy into a bonus round - you've been warned.

Lol...it must be a crap game if references to the Wehrmacht and Panzers are coming out. Perhaps if they have a Hitler lookalike to spin the wheel, it would be trusted more?

I went back and played some more, luckily on low stakes, and in those times again there were several errors. I am not a streamer and i don't think a screenshot would have been able to prove it (unless i had some kind of high speed prt-scr. and paste combo), but i noticed at least one other post from another player at another forum about one issue i was in, and another player actually posted a video with proof of a 4 roll session not being paid, although you can clearly see the bet was in play.

I would like to see some more members here check out the game, or play it even, for an hour or longer, and tell me what they feel about it.
After those errors i told myself i'm done with it now. So i will wait and see what the outcome is on those other forums, and hopefully get some more feedback here.

One small credit: one of the Casinos i mentioned in the earlier posts, actually returned the missing stake, although one could argue if i should have instead gotten the money for the bonus round i was magically booted from instead.

Oh well..

But @neilw - i hope that you as a Live games specialist, so to speak, with all your contacts in the field, could also take a look into this, and maybe get some figures from the past weeks, as in how many people play this, how many errors were reported etc.?

If you can find the time of course, and have the means:) In which case - thanks in advance...
