I saw that Monopoly Big Event has been released this week. However, I've had trouble playing it due to a script error. Just wondered if anyone had given it a go yet? I am also confused over whether it is a WMS Gaming/ Williams Interactive title or a Barcrest title? It appears to load up with the Williams Interactive logo but then has the Barcrest logo on the reels. Is it a similar deal to what Microgaming's Quickfire platform has with some developers? So it has been developed by Barcrest but released on the Williams Interactive platform?

Barcrest now falls under the WMS slots, just like Bally does too now.

I've played it lots and all the interesting stuff happens in the bonus round, particularly if you manage to trigger a scatter round with 4 or 5 scatters (easiest way is through the big bet feature "green section" but thats £30 for 5 spins) havent managed to trigger the locked wilds yet but ive had some decent wins with the walking wilds round as well as the go to jail feature (which removes crappy symbols from the reels)

managed a 100x + win from the guaranteed wins feature too (if you have any left over in the normal free spins round you get a unique reel set with multipliers on).

an interesting slot but risky and rewarding just like Ooh Ahh Dracula is. I do like the 4 or 5 scatter trigger extras on both slots, and the fact that with the reveals given for the 4/5 scatters you can plan your picks to get lots before picking the final chance card.

added some more screenies from play mode :)

Scientific Gaming owns WMS which own Barcrest, so it'll be running via WMS integration but the game will be licensed under Barcrest.

Can't help with the script error though i'm afraid :(

Jeez the crappest game i ever played ...

i deposited 70 with a 70 bonus balance @1 bet it lasted some 200 -225 spins no feture no betX10 win all gone

ok i thought its in a bad mood so i deposited 60 + 60 bonus balance when i was 30 i hit bonus that too

a 5 scatter trigger and was thrilled here it goes .. i have to play some card game to win one of 2 feature

well i didn't win any of 2 just start fresspin got 25 spins or 10 of them guaranteed win

and it paid 25 ... what a crap joke

pissed i decided to try what the big bet about ok so i picked the 30 dollar bet gave me 5 spins and the feature was all win X5

in 5 spins all i won is some shit 3 of kind for 5 win

i went for the feature again 5 spins and it picked me progressive win multiplier

got 5 dead spins :D

busted ... a crap of game shouldn't have allowed to be release

Older Barcrest slots that are available through IGT or Virtue Fusion are tight but the bonus rounds usually pay out ok. But not on this slot it has WMS variance makeover, plenty of dead spins and empty bonus rounds.

I had 20 free spins with locked wilds and it paid 0.5xbet. The next bonus with the wild reel paid just under 5xbet,I gave up after this as had spun 600 spins and lost a fortune.

I hate Barcrest just like IGT.
Tighter slots can't be found.
Remember my days when still playing at William Hill, going bust a few times on Monty's Millions (dreadful slot) capable of monsterhits but I never saw them.

I got all excited when the Williams loading screen appeared.. I believe Williams Studio have a Monopoly game coming out soon as well, so that will be worth a blast.

Are some Barcrest games not crossbranded with IGT? I thought Rainbow riches and a few others fell under the IGT banner.

Nope not for a while now. SG bought the rights a few years back and IGT retired their versions of the games. Barcrest is now a developer in it's own right whereas previously they outsourced to IGT (I believe).

It's all under SG now anyway, they have different studios across the globe producing variations of titles.

So who owns the current versions of Rainbow Riches and Montys Millions and other games like that? Are they exclusive to Barcrest now? I thought some of their old games were crossbranded with IGT logos, but I may be mistaken.

Barcrest own the rights, but SG owns Barcrest. Any games still operational under IGT with a Barcrest logo will be down to contractual arrangements prior to the SG deal but they will eventually all be migrated to SG.

Worst slot I have ever played

The bonus feature is insanely rare.

I have now lost 5500NOK 650 euro. 3 features 3500spins. Paid nothing and a 67x max win.

Holy crap this is an ice-cold slot!

Sorry to bump an old thread - but just played this for the first time today...

I think the above is a gross understatement - I think this is the shittiest slot invented EVER!

I don't even want to talk about how many £100's (won on the FAR superior Ohh Ahh Dracula) I have lost on this steaming heap of manure - suffice to say I played many 100's of spins on the "Big Bets" feature and didn't even win a rotting turd of a win.

The "Big Bets" is SUPPOSED to have a 99% RTP... but I think that must be a typo, and it's supposed to say 9.9%... that is MUCH closer to my results on this piece of GARBAGE!

KK

PS: I case you didn't get the message - I think this slot is vile scum - it should be blasted into space with an atomic bomb on a 3 minute fuse attached to it...

This thread was immediately above the thread titled "Does MAX bet increase the odds?" - https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/does-max-bet-increase-odds.71474/?t=71474 - which made me chuckle.

I've had the misfortune of playing this on the £30 big bet and reached the same conclusion as you. I wonder what the TRTP is for this slot.

I think this big bet stuff might be the product of the Cat B2 / B3 machines they produce for the UK bookies. I can't find the thread but someone posted up some stats that the gambling commission published after running some tests. The results were really bad....something like only winning more than the wager 33% of the time if it was a stake greater than £2. I'll try and dig it out because it's was a good read and shows exactly how bad these bets are.
