Are you saying it has disappeared but there is NO transaction showing?
    That would be very odd.
How do you keep track of what should be in your account?
e.g. I use an Excel spreadsheet and always check the balance is correct after each transaction I enter.

I had all my money stolen from Skrill about 3-4 years ago - but the 14 transactions the thief did were showing on my account.
No problems since then... touch wood!

Out of curiosity, what happened that you got hacked and do you use the 2 way authenticator now?

Skrill account transactions appear instantly to the log but the Skrill prepaid card related transactions, whether purchases or cash withdrawals, don't. They just get reduced from the balance instantly. Once I had successful cash withdrawal double charged from my balance, it was not charged double immediately on withdrawal, but the double charge appeared later, that took less than week then to fix I think. Also once the cash withdrawal failed for me, but it was reduced from the available balance and it took 15 days for it to be returned to the balance.

Once my Skrill card purchase was instantly reduced available balance, but it kept hanging in total balance. Then it was returned to my balance and 2 weeks after that taken away from my balance again. Only thing I could see in the logs of this mess was the eventual payment after 4 weeks.

So if you don't see anything in logs, most likely cash withdrawal or card purchase got reduced twice from your balance, most likely it will be fixed in 15 days or less.

I have no idea how, but somehow someone got hold of my password.
I did finally get my money back after going to the Ombudsman who ruled in my favour that Skrill should have protected me better.

And no I don't use the 2-step auth... but maybe I will do that now that Neteller is blocked for a lot of my transactions, which means I have more money flowing through Skrill...
