Mohegan Sun Help?

hello All, I am a first timer to ANY casino! I am going this Friday, August 15. I am finding that the hotel is VERY expensive!!! I am going initially to see a show, but am VERY excited about gambling! I'm not sure what "comps" are, I feel a bit silly not knowing anything at all, but that's why I'm here!

Hi darlinHarleyGir. I prefer Mohegan over Foxwoods. I love it there. The rooms are expensive at first but if you go frequently they send you offers in the mail. I now pay about 29.00 to 59.00 a night and a lot of times they throw in a freebie.

They are constantly building and adding. It's pretty big so wear comfortable shoes. Make sure you get a Mohegan Players Card at any of the players club booths. Put the card in any machine you play and it will give you point value. You can use the card to pay for dining and most anything in the stores. If you play table games just hand them your card and you will be comped. I have qualified for the VIP rooms too. I havn't been much this year. We had to cancel out last trip because of a sick relative. It's only a couple hours away and it's a great getaway!

I know this great guy that runs bus trips to them (BingoT's Bus Tours) Oh that's right that's me lol.

Next time I will be at the Sun is to see Journey on Sunday.
I just saw Boston & Styx last week and what a show 4 hours long and I had row F on the floor.
