The list is growing of Microgaming casinos that deny access to your own banking transaction history, also know as Cash Check. What's up with this? Very strange.

So far, I know that Wild Jack, First Web, 777 Dragon will divert you to a log-on page (after you already had logged on into the casino) and you have to enter your password again. Well, the password you used to log on to the casino itself doesn't work on this banking history log-on page!:what:

The BelleRock group doesn't have this problem.

It was over a month ago that I talked with 777 Dragon's live chat about their lack of player access to their own transaction history but they treated as if it was a glitch. But there are now other online casinos with the same "problem". Obviously, if it was a glitch it should have been corrected by now. I really don't want to discuss my banking transaction history in live chat. What on earth could they possibly be trying to do by not allowing you to view your own transaction history?

King Neptune's banking history page also diverts to a log-on page BUT the password you used to log into the casino DOES work here!

Report them to ecogra for breach of requirement 100.R.5.

The "fancy new MG lobby" is at the heart of this, and many other, issues.

With the early lobby, there were a row of buttons top left that gave one-click access to Cashcheck, Playcheck, Loyalty etc. Under the new lobby (which I STILL don't like), this simple process is replaced by a cumbersome process of clicking on "accounts" and then an item of a submenu. This has introduced a point of failure when clicking on "accounts" in the first instance, and the submenu items often require a separate logon, and this then requires the player to retrieve their account number, as unlike logging into the casino, it is not pre-stored. The password SHOULD be the same one as for logging onto the casino, but yet another point of failure is causing problems even here. Not ALL MG casinos with the new lobby are affected, so it seems to be down to shoddy programming of the new interface at specific MG casinos.

Both Cashcheck and Playcheck are hosted at Microgaming, not the casino's own websites, and should be SMOOTHLY accessable from a logged in lobby, as was the case in the past (well, most of the time;) ).

HAVE SAME TROUBLE WHEN USING FLASH

There are several mini-vegas casinos that I can not access "cashcheck" through flash software yet can access "playcheck"

This has been very very frustrating to say the least

Westland Bowl, the rep tells me that they've been able to help you resolve this problem. Is that correct? If so please let us know so I can mark this thread accordingly.

I had meant to update the thread. Sorry for not doing so sooner. Yes, the Jackpot Factory rep (I think) contacted me regarding the problem. The following is my reply to her.

Hi Emma,

Thanks for writing. After a 777 Dragon representative suggested uninstalling and re-installing the casino software, I was able to access my banking transaction history over there (though I still had to do a second log-on). So I thought that might work for Wild Jack but it didn't; I still can't access my banking history through the Wild Jack casino software even though I re-installed it.

However, I DID access my banking transaction history through clicking on the CashCheck icon on the bottom of Wild Jack's home webpage then clicking on the CashCheck icon on the second page. This brought me to Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) webpage. I was able to access the Wild Jack banking history from this page.

I don't know if any other player at Wild Jack has problems accessing the transaction history through the casino software, but perhaps the webpage route I used above would help. I originally thought it was a management decision to ban access to the banking transaction history though I couldn't figure out what possible benefit they could derive from that. But I guess it's truly a software/communication problem.

Thanks again for contacting me.

In other words, to access your banking transaction history for Wild Jack casino, go to this Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) I don't know if this is true for the other Jackpot Factory group casinos.

Sorry if I am somehow hijacking the thread, just thought that this is related. Until recently, the only MG casino I played at was 32Red, and they have easy to navigate interface and history in convenient format.

Few days ago I joined another casino, and after reading this thread tried to locate my transactions history. My account is in EUR, and I made total 3 deposits, for amounts of 100EUR, 200EUR and 300EUR.
That's what my history page looks like though:

Date ID Selection Credit/Debit
7/22/2008 12:24:31 PM 258006 Deposit (-316.82 EUR @ 1.58411) into Casino USD 200.00
7/19/2008 3:19:06 PM 257187 Deposit (-158.93 EUR @ 1.58927) into Casino USD 100.00
7/20/2008 11:10:00 PM 257335 Deposit (-132.14 @ 0.629219) into Casino USD 210.00

Isn't it a bit weird, to put it mildly? There is certainly no clear way to see that I made 3 round-figure deposits in EUR...

This would be a casino that does not use the standard banking facilities. This point has come up before, with an MG casino and sportsbook, where the casino deposits are handled by the sportsbook banking applications. The history simply does not make sense, and this is because of the back and forth (and unnecessary) currency conversions that are introducing "rounding errors" and what looks like some kind of hidden transaction fee that might be getting rebated once the software credits the casino account itself.

This history would be of no use to any player trying to work out how much they have deposited and withdrawn, and it is the player these records are intended for, so should be displayed in a form that is clear to that player.
