Yesterday I stumbled upon what I think was a one-off freeroll tournament at CasinoUK on Gold Factory with a €1,000 prize pool. The top prize was I think €350, with the top 50 places winning a prize. I was 5th at one point but ended up finishing 10th from just my free entry, winning €30 (side note: I would have liked to cash it out but ended up losing it all trying to make it up to the £50 required to cashout.. grr !)
Anyway I wondered, does anybody have any recommendations for some more good tournaments anywhere at the moment, in particular Microgaming but I'm open to trying anything really? In the last few days MGS have changed the daily $50 freerolls to prizes of 10x$5 instead of 5x$10, which I really don't like - a "prize" of around 3 quid in a casino with £1 minimum bets on blackjack and roulette is a bit rubbish as a "prize", though ok, it is free - but I'd be really interested to hear of any as good as the one yesterday at CasinoUK or even just recommendations for tournaments with reasonable entry price, fair ratio of coins/time, and sensible continue count/cost ?
Tournaments are really a great way to stretch your bankroll IF all the parameters are set correctly, but unfortunately that seems to be a rare thing at the moment...
