Just tried out mice dice..I was betting 1.00 per spin, I noticed my balance was going down by 1.40 per spin..At the bottom of the screen , next to where you pick you number of lines and bet amount is a little box marked fg and adds .40 to your bet..I went down to .75 per spin and it added .30 per spin so now betting 1.05 instead of .75...I found out it is the feature guarantee bet.. I don't see anywhere to opt out of that extra bet...Thats horrible..

Same thing happened to me

I also played Mice Dice, I did rather well playing it so I upped my bet and my balance was going down fast, I had noticed the very small box at the bottom with a $$ amount in it so went to paytable find out what it was and was like WTH? There is not another RTG Feature Trigger Slot game that charges you a side bet to play it, so why does Mice Dice? I know that it is only 100 spins instead of 150 but still, come on - it would be nice to be forewarned before playing especially if you are small time like me and make $10-$25 deposits. It is a shame because I really like the game.

It would be nice if you had the option to choose to play the side bet - kind of like some table games. if you want the Feature Trigger than turn on the side bet, if you don't than give us the option to disable it.

Just my 2 cents!

Happy winning!

i love that game.

i also did,nt know why my money was going down so fast when i was just betting 25 cents a spin.

but then i saw the side bet and thought oh well i like it so well try until i get the free spins.

and boy am i glad i did hit it for 5 mice dice guy it only paid 18$ but that was o.k the frist 5 i ever got it was cool.

but then went on to the free spins and won over 100$ on them i love this game so much.

but you don,t win much unless your in free spins and sometime even then you don,t get much.

but it is one cool game spent all night playing it.

i did not notice that there was a charge to play the feature game...but after reading this thread i went and checked it out...unless i missed something i do not see where u can opt out of playing the feature game...nor did i see any where in the rules where it even refers to the extra money u have to pay to play the mice dice game...

if someone notices the opt out of feature game bonus please let me know.

no opt out that I know of

I wish there were - and I think it would be a great option that RTG could add to the game, but I don't see it happening.

Here is where it states that 10X the line bet must be played:

One more Question????

Where are you all playing this at?

I hold accounts with Club World Casinos, Intertops, Inetbet and Jackpot Capital Casinos, and so far the only 2 RTG's I have found it at is Lucky Club and Grande Vegas. Of course I am in the states so I am limited :(
So if anyone else knows of an accredited RTG that has the game other than the 2 above that I have found it at - LET ME KNOW pretty please :p

I have not played this game, but I do have a question. What if your paying into the feature on everyspin, and you bust out before your feature. Does the money stay in there until you play the game again or does it reset to 0?

To me, if your paying into it, then if you go bust it should stay there until you actually get to play the feature. Does anyone know how this works?

If it's the same as the other RTG feature guarantee games, it will save your feature guarantee values if you leave the game or bust out.

The exception it if you are playing with a bonus, if you hit a low enough balance that the wagering requirement is removed from the bonus (usually 0-0.10 or such) then the feature guarantee will reset too, but it will warn you with a popup first and ask if you want to play it. You also always have the option of playing the feature guarantee at the % chance you have earned so far.

If i really want to play for money, I wouldn't be playing dice mice. But when I just want to play for fun, then I would play it and enjoy the game. :)

My gambling hasbit is not only for money, but also for fun. :)

this game is a rip-off. you have to pay for the feature guarantee but if you get the feature yourself the accumulated spins are cancelled which is not right. the rtp takes into account the feature so the paid feature guarantee should be separate and saved even if you get the feature before the guarantee.can dogboy comment on this?

Yes, I shall comment, though in future I will not if a request is prefaced with "this game is a rip-off". If you have a question ask it.

The game is mathematically valid as regards the RTP for the side bet, based on the relative chance of attaining 100 spins without triggering a feature randomly.

The value of the feature subsequently triggered is extremely high, especially as there is roughly a 2 in 3 chance of triggering the feature with 3+ dice for free games, if triggered from Feature Guarantee (and therefore 2 multiplying dice, yielding from 3-18 games at x2-x12 through to 5-30 games at x2-x12).
This is a higher probability than the random trigger of the free games, which will most often be triggered on just 2 dice (so 2-12 games at x1-x6)

As with other events, the probability versus the average value derived versus the bet (in this case, the extra bet), yields the RTP.
Were the game to function simply as an accumulator and not reset on random triggers (ie: a game that would always trigger an additional feature after 100 spins, irrespective of any random triggers), on the extra bet listed, the RTP would far in excess of 100%.

To whit, the game has been designed in accordance with the game RTP and Feature Guarantee system, a mathematically valid system that is not a basic accumulator.

Woooof

my apologies for the rip-off comment whilst requesting your input simultaneously.however, the least rtg should do is to have a pop-up message reminding players that there is a compulsory side-bet for the slot.

I don't like this game. IMO taking side bet for every spin just to guarantee the feature which doesn't guarantee any win - well, I don't know how to name this, but I feel it's not right :)

Its the constant evolution of Slots and programmers trying to make games more and more profitable.

Soon you will see a charge to press "Spin".... :p

The problem is that players are already familiar with feature guarantee, and before this game, there was NO "sidebet" cost - it just came as part of the game. Now that players are being charged a specific sidebet, they are concerned about the impression that they are paying for a bet that can simply be cancelled without a "result", nor a refund of stake. There is also the concern that when busting out trying to make WR on a bonus, the spin count is resent to zero, and with the next deposit the player has to start all over again. It caused concern when there was no charge for feature guarantee, but now there IS a charge, the arbitrary cancellation of the progress towards the 100 spins WITHOUT a feature having been randomly triggered DOES lower the mathematical RTP of the sidebet.

High value features are also compromised by the max win limitation on all RTG real series slots, so a VERY good feature round is never paid in full. A recent example was of a win of some 30K being limited to around 12K by this max win rule. It seems odd that wins are capped, yet at the same time casinos market themselves based on having the largest jackpots available.

It may work out mathematically, but if players feel the game is cheating them, they won't play it.

The reality of the scenario is evident in the introduction of the 'Video Slot'. It was more profitable for programmers to introduce a 9 line Video Slot (With Max bet of $45) than a 3 Reel Stepper with a max bet of $3....

Only some Video Slots in B&M Casinos offer the option to change denomination, whilst almost 99% of online Casinos allow a denomination adjustment. It makes more financial sense.

In the ever evolving world of Gaming, side bets will slowly but surely be intoduced into the market.

Look at the Blackjack game and its many variations. In B&M Casinos, a Blackjack 3:2 straight game is ideally the best to play. Intoduction of the (as an example) 'Perfect Pairs' ensured that players were placing side bets and digging into the bank roll faster...

Anyways... I checked out Virgingames last night as they introduced the Batman slot... Its got a side bet too...

The trick with mice dice is that you want to get the feature guarantee. It can give you up to 5 dice for free spins and like 2 dice for up to 12 times multiplier. It is very hard to hit that on the regular game. You need 3 mice in the first three rows in order to have the chance at such a big bonus game. So you really want to get to the feature guarantee. I have lost a lot on that game though, and prob will stay away from it for a while. Getting the bonus game and rolling snake eyes is no fun LOL Another thing i noticed about this game is that the win win feature is horrible because you will be hitting a small amount triggering the bonus game and would be rather impossible to get 100x bet..
