Hi all I have been playing Breakaway since it came out and am addicted to this slot. This game is so entertaining. I find it to be the most fun to play of all the newer MG slots. It seems to spit out decent wins on a regular basis. What do my fellow Meister members think of this slot

I quite like it. Allthough freespins can be quite shitty, if you dont get the wilds. Useally never goes over 4x multiplier durinf fs.
The smashing wild (or whatever it was called) is shitty.
But the base game itself is allright. Though those 0,05xbet "wins" are annoying.

I agree with all of the above.
The most frustrating thing is how rarely it goes to the high multiplier. I have played this slot quite a lot, and only reached the top level once - and that was NOT during free-spins of course.

And yeah - the shitty wild thing is just annoying. If it sometimes made more than 1 reel wild it would be a bit better.

I do still like the slot though, and play it quite frequently.

Can the random wild do more then 1 wild like up to 5?

And I would think it would be better if they did like gonzos quest.

On normal mode x1,x2,x3 and x5.
On free spin mode x3,x6,x9 and x15.

Can't stand it and I promised myself to not play it again last time. If I want to get through my bankroll lightning fast at $0.50/spin I'll play Leagues Of Fortune instead (at least I feel like I can win BIG, unlike Breakaway).

This game may not give out huge wins often but it does spit out 50x bet on the base game quite often. I have done better on this game then all the other recent MGS releases. I do agree free spins can be shitty more often than not.

Things I like in this game:
1. If you manage to get the wild on the second real during the smashing wild feature and some more wilds on the last reels, you can get some really nice wins, since in this game the second reel is the one blocking most wins.
2. You can get the feature via the third scatter dropping in from the top after winning symbols disappeared.
What I do not like:
1. The Smashing wild is supposed to guarantee a win. However in that case this feature cannot be random, since there could be some combinations on the reels which would not randomly produce a win.
2. The setup of reels 1-2-3 makes it hard to get subsequent wins in the free spins. You frequently end up with two identical symbols on reel1 or reel3, and the win is blocked by reel2.

I quite like this slot. I've had some pretty good sessions with it, but I will admit only a handful of wins over 100x bet.

Best was around 250x win on a round I did get to 10x multiplier during freespins.

This is one of those for me where I can't hit ANYTHING! (Other than my head against the desk)

Just terrible, 2x, 3x, 4x wins - even when the big strips of wilds hit. Never mind the features. I think I got the one where they come across and smash your reels up, before laughing in your face and spitting £1.40 back or something. Not sure I've ever had the free spins. Stupid pucks! (Which should clearly be spelled with an 'f') I'd have had more fun if I'd burnt the deposit and sat watching the flames pushing a fork into my eye.

Because I'm some sort of masochistic weirdo, I might just go and have a go now and see if it's still as vomit-inducingly awful as I remember.

I get that not every slot is likeable for everybody, however the few that say in this thread this slot is awful, didn't really give it a good try i.mo. (not that they should, it/s a taste thing after all) but i did give it a fair amount of spins, and i can only say this one has enormous hit potential.

I had a few decent hits on it well over 100 x, and saw some hits on it over 1000 x

It's streaky by nature, can dish out a set of really nice wins, i'd say it's medium variance overall, the 1000x hits of course being as rare as any high variance slot, but you don't need them to have a nice playtime or good winnings on it.

It's not bad at all: I'm talking purely mechanical and variance, whatever taste brings into the equation is up to yourself ...

My personal opinion: one of the best releases from the last years.. (taste included)

I have had some good runs on Breakaway but like fellow meisters I have also noticed few annoying things in this game.

First of all, the second reel. It's just there to block big wins and it seems that whenever you get a win, the rolling reel hardly ever produces the symbol that is needed in this reel. What I find most annoying is that referee symbol. It seems it piles up in every other reel and almost never shows up in the second reel, when I have a win and see tons of referees everywhere I just give up since I'm certain that there won't be referee dropping to that reel

As for free spins, I find that they actually trigger quite often, like 3-4 times in few hundred spins. I had a run where I had five scatters two times in one session (0.50 bet, hundreds of spins though). But the thing is that the free spins itself are very poor. Most times you end up with 0-20x bet. Multiplier hardly ever goes over 5x and even when it does it's like three pairs of skates or something like that.

Random wild feature is actually pretty exciting if it hits on the second reel since you can have four reels full of wild and the troublesome nature of that second reel is taken care of when it hits to third or fourth reel I don't expect much. Though when it hits to fourth reel it is almost certain that you win more than you bet.

And on a side note, this slot is my father's favorite he plays this game like 95% of the time he gambles.

I play this slot every once in a while but I have no special love for this one.
