Meister Slots - Looking for bitchin' ideas

I know you are asking for slot ideas but since there is currently a thread about a dodgy Casino poker game I thought I would add this.
It is a simple concept but fun to play and it would complement your slot game perfectly.

The player selects their stake then
6 holdem hands are dealt face up at the bottom of the screen.
The player chooses which hand they wish to play.
The flop is dealt and the hands are ranked and displayed so you know which is leading
then the turn is dealt and process repeated.
Finally the river.

If more than 1 starting hand ties with the best hand the player loses.

If the player selected the best hand they win and are payed according to the paytable which obviously gives higher payouts to better ranked hands but you can set this according to the payout % you wish to set.

I made this game and it is great fun as there is a skill element but also you get funny things like having your Aces inevitably cracked by another hand so choosing the starting hand is interesting (is AA better than 9,10 suited? that depends on the other cards on view and the paytable) and watching each hands possibilities as the flop turn and river are dealt adds to the excitement.

There are many variations you could add such as increasing the paytable for playing the starting hand blind.

Giving the player an insurance bet after the flop (the player can choose another hand but should any of their selected hands win they only get there stake back)

Giving the player selected odds on the chances of each starting hand winning.

etc etc.

I am certain this game would prove at least every bit as popular as VP and at least for me it was more fun.

OK that is 2 scorchio ideas for free. The rest die with me ;)

This is implemented in a few Prima rooms :) The only difference is (if I remember right) you can choose a hand before the cards are turned over as well. Once the cards are dealt, the payout %'s are adjusted accordingly....and are adjusted after the flop and turn.

Really?
I never heard about this. How long for in what rooms?
I have to check this out and see how close it is to my game.
Spooky :eek2:

Think Poker in the games section.
That actually has all the variations I mentioned and many more besides.

It took me a little while to work it out and it may be a little over complicated for most tastes but it is a very interesting game.

I see how it could easily suck people in to thinking it is easy money and then whaaam!

I think this sort of spread betting concept is something we will see more of in games because it has the potential to get people betting large sums for very small gains.

Thanks for the heads up on this winbig and it just goes to show there are no original ideas.(well not for long anyway)
I suppose I should be happy that I probably made it first and to see a similar concept in a Casino proves my ideas are sound.

I've been missing the boat on this one. Just make a game like Money Storm/Catch A Wave from the casino. 20 or 25 pay lines 5 reel, 3 or more bonus trigger symbols left to right on a payline gives X number of free spins. 3 gives 3 free spins, 4 gives 5 free spins 5 gives 15 free spins. All wins during bonus spins are scatter pays, bonus retriggers for scattered bonus triggers using the above spin table. Then have some kind of pick a symbol bonus if symbol x y and x align on reels 3 4 and 5. Some multiplication of the total bet.

Or a Turkey Shoot type slot. 20 line 5 reel 3 scattered x symbols on reels 1 2 and 3 trigger the stuffing bonus. All food items on all reels are eaten by some animal and credit amounts are awarded per item based on total bet (usually 2 - 5 X the total bet per foodstuff). Then 3 rifle scope symbols on reels 1 2 and 3 trigger the free spin bonus. 10 spins at 1X pay initially awarded and each time a target or something symbol lands on the center reel player selects 1 of 9 targets at the top of the screen. Targets contain either a 1X multiplier increase or 10 or 20 additional free spins. If all player selectable targets are exhausted each target on the center reel increases the multiplier 1X.

You'd make a fortune on either of these games of course I'm sure there'd be some copyright issues too. Make up the symbols and I can supply the reel layouts for these games and most older video slots in the casinos for any return from about 85% to 98% virtual and physical reel stops.

The game vwm was talking about is Pokerbet.
It's available at Laddies too...
You can choose a hand when the cards aren't showing for a fixed multiplier and after they're turned face up, pick a hand and bet...
Same thing after flop and turn.
The multipliers change in every round after the cards are turned face up...based on the winning odds of that hand.

One thing most of us players enjoy is the freespin feature, with different types of multiplyer. Often the problem is that even with rockin multipliers, we don't get nada - so in many respects it's worthless.

Example, take Isis - 20 spins with x6 should be nice, but lately it's not. Harveys, with it's possible x25 multiplier is also veru temting. However, looking at stats bonus seldom gives so it's worthless here aswell.

One way to solve this is using different reels for freespin games. When entering freespins, the reels switch to "fresspin" reels which has alot more winning kombinations - and all the low prices are removed. Infact one didn't have to have multiplier, just a hell of a lot bigger chance of hitting something. And with 15 freespins, one would think to hit more than on one spin! Several machines here in Norway (removed 1 July) had this system, two set of reels. One for play, and one for bonus play with higher wager and higher prices.

Other than that, I loved the idea with "monster spin", 1 spin with x500 multiplier or so, :D However, knowing the business one would in 99/100 never get anything on the spin anyway - so I'll pass... :/

Also another thing, kinda annoys me with alot of MG slots! All slots are equiped with "quick spin", however games like "Dolphin Tale" should have a "instant spin" button... When I'm really bored, I love to just hammer the spin button to next win. There should be a spin option without reel animation.

Sounds abit boring, but definately a feature I would need in a "perfect" slot.

I agree, at least a 'turbo' button for when the first reels have shown.

oo ooo ooo... side bets... may I suggest side bets :D

how bout....

A game called "smooth criminal" You can get lots of ideas for pics on the slots like handcuffs, burglars climbing a wall, judges in court, prison bars etc

maybe you can get a free spin bonus if you get 3 criminals OR like honey to the bee, a column that has handcuffs or something and the last reel has one or the other mentioned above and you get spins

It can be 20 lines and start at 5 cents a line all the way up to like $100

That sound pretty cool. But I think he plans to use imagery from the sight and... I forgot the theme, but I hope it's something like
Beer was even part of the Bavarian justice system as official beer bouts were often ordered by the Burgermeister to settle disputes.

I know it doesn't help much, but you can do this at Crypto casinos.
You can turn off the animations so when you hit 'spin' the reels instantly 'jump' to the next final position.
You could probably do 30-40 'spins' a minute like this!

:eek2:

I would like to see a slot where there are no numbers or cards. Animated like Hype which makes it fun to play. Although I don't play their casinos due to bad customer support I still like their graphics over all others.

The slots I most enjoy have free spins and/or another bonus feature.

The story behind the slots isn't as important to me as the graphics, bonus features, and I prefer a 9 line slot.

Just some slot thoughts. ;)

Thought of a good idea for a CasinoMeister Slots game......

Use the avatars of the most popular members in the forum as the images in the game itself

Example: if you get 3 'Simmo!'s, you win 'X' and so on!

Hmmm ... be better if you had a "Hulk" style bonus round where you guide a Simmo" to smash up Vortran into lots of tiny pieces, then have to try and build something half-useful with the bits of rusty metal left scattered around, like a watering can or something practical.

A long long time ago I had actually attempted making a pretend slot using that same idea ... it was shortly after Mad Hatters came out. As you can see I never got very far...

Old Attachment (Invalid)

F*** me - as if one slotster wasn't enough!!

You know on some MG slots where you can look at the paytable and spin from there, and the combo you hit lights up and flashes? That would be cool, with a turbo button so I don't have to wait 3-5 seconds for the reels to spin before seeing the results. Immediate gratification, as if slots don't offer it already:)
Many thoughts come to mind from there...
