....at the Meister Meeting in London!!

I am looking really forward to to grabbing a few beers with some of you great Meister Members, so who will be attending this year?

I will be joined by Tony who as many of you know is our head of support and payments and a friend of mine Roger who is the head of sales for Betsoft so if you have any new game suggestions or want to rip him a new one about some of their past releases this is the time. ;)

Looking forward to seeing you all!!

Ben

Oh Mods, if I posted this in the wrong place please feel free to move it.

I will definitely be there - as always!

I also always think it's a great shame that more "non-industry" CM members don't attend; historically we've only seen a handful each year.
It's a great venue, a great host, great FREE beer, food and music - and of course, I'll be there. What more could anyone possibly want? :p
I hope more will make the effort this year.

Looking forward to meeting you at last Ben

Maybe this is the problem:p

As a reminder, the Meister Meeting is being held, as usual, at Waxy O'Conners Tuesday 4 February:

London

This is an exclusive party for our forum members only (and yes, you can bring a guest). If you are in the UK - London especially, I'd expect you to be there. 5pm - 8pm all the food and beer you can consume. :D

Even flying in cattle class, I couldn't make a big enough pig of myself, with the all-you-can-drink-eat to justify the expense. Sorry guys but it's a no go :p

I have family in England (Liverpool specifically) and have always dreamed of making the trip. When and if I can finally afford it, I'll definitely plan my trip to coincide with this event. Have fun and behave (YEAH RIGHT LMAO) :D

I really really wanted to go this year :(
Unfortuntely I can't make it.

Now if I could ask all of you to take a beer for me too then I'm sure I'll enjoy the evening anyway :)
I hope you all will have a great time...
...and I say like I did last year...that next year, I'll make it ;)

I think a good idea would be for forum members to communicate a bit with their locations, and maybe share the journey or petrol costs. For example if I drove I could conceivably pick someone up between Bristol and the Midlands, or someone coming from Somerset/SW could pick me up and share the travel costs. Just sayin'

i was very disappointed i didn't make last year i was really looking forward to putting some faces to names,

i was all up for it but one of my boys got ill,

so hopefully this year will be my first

Carpooling is a brilliant idea. I anyone has any ideas on how to organize this, just let me know.

Just don't drive back in the same night :p

By any chance, are you are going past New Jersey?

London is a big problem. It isn't cheap to take a car in. It would be better to drive to the edge of the underground network where parking should be easier and cheaper, and get the train in and out. An overnight stay is also prohibitive in London, but less so outside.

When I go, it's one of the few occasions I take the train, rather than drive.

hi dunover im SW but dorset , im thinking train mate as its going to be cheaper plus i can have a few beers , have you checked wether you can do it via network rail ? i could meet you on one of the pick up lines ) sounds rude ):eek2:

Ah, my favourite part of the UK, spent years there! You will be going to Waterloo then on the train, I would go to Euston.

shame , i wasnt sure how they run over your way

The Empire Casino on Leicester Square and The Hippodrome are a 2-3 minute walk from Waxy's too ;) Book your fares 7+ days in advance and you'll probably get a good off-peak deal.

I defo will try and come over for that meeting.
I have to take the ferry to Holyhead and drive to London...Did it before so no problems there...
It's a long haul but I hate flying!
Just need to see if I can make it as I'd love to meet some CM members face to face and also some casino reps.. :D

Maybe a cool contest to win a ticket to come for those of us who cant make it. Gl all. Also Atlanta would be a good choice next time

This was mentioned earlier, but I couldn't get it together to organize something like this. That would be very cool, and it's definitely on the agenda for next year. :D

damn

i would love 2 come but unfortunately im a single dad off 2 disabled boys so cant make it this year but will sort something next year (good excuse 2 get a missis she can look after them then) he he

I think this is a great idea.

As I cannot market at all towards the US if there was someone that would put up the prize for the US players I would add a prize for the rest of the world so potentially we can bring 2 international Meister members to London next year :).

Cheers,

Ben
