New RTG game Megasaur is a piece of crap rip off of T-Rex. No imagination at all. They even used the exact same 9,10,J,Q,K,A symbols from the T-REX game.
    LAZY
At $5 a spin to win the jackpot they should call this megasore since that's how my wallet and head will feel if I play it.

Seriously RTG???? This is the best you can do??

They have potential to really make their mark. Instead they pull crap like this. Same goes last releases like Football Frenzy and Shark School.....horrible slots I think.

How about a 243 way slot RTG? And something new inspiring please

The reason we should presume this is effectively a scam is that we likely will never be told the real odds of hitting the million. It's probably something astronomical like a billion to one against on a dollar spin. Expect to never see this go off.

I would be tickled for RTG to prove me wrong.

Of course the actual last credible info on RTG RTP settings and regular random jackpot odds are years old. Highly unlikely the actual current numbers on these games will ever be made available.

I do feel like CWC is at least a fair game, but I would never play this as my trust is with Club World, not RTG.

Well seeing that jackpot pinata has been going forever, I would assume that none of us will have to deal with the stress of hitting this jackpot.

Medal Tally and 3 Stooges is another that has never "gone off" . I see at a lot of casinos it still sits at $25,000-$50,000 respectively. Actually quite silly to offer these progessives online when you cannot reedem the funds but at pennies at a time. I played this new game for fun with REAL money......waste of time.

Just as the other games they "tweaked". the Spring braak and Vulcan, still do not play right...the Guarantee is not even in the game....it should read "Could Guarantee" because it sucks your money as fast as you can spin and then when you run out....(a few hundred dollars down the drain) you have to deposit again just so you can get to the guarentee or end of that lousy slots now that they removed the play feature when you run out of funds. Terrble games beng put out. Shark feature...another dead in the water game.....

This feature guarantee is the worst thing they ever invented. I refuse to play any game that has it. They just suck you dry and when you do get the feature it pays 3X.

I thought this slot was suppose to be a knock off of T-Rex? Haven't played it yet. Is it the same feature as well?

I'm glad I read this - I didn't realize you had to play $5.00 per to win the jackpot. Also, be careful at inetbet - they put up a coupon to play the new game but you can't play the new game because you used a coupon....I know...huh? I have written to them but no answer so far and I don't want to play because you can only play a few games.

    I usually like new games...

hay look on the bright side the graphics seem better & youve got a chance of 1,000,000 hit there but likely as bmw has stated it shall remain in the hall of gods , i shall never understand to why they bother when clearly you cannot win them , i was 10x of that a machine a few years ago just needed that symbol to be a ten that was good for 225k , but it was 2 or something ( since that day ive never played it , i do like t rex though & vulcan had that max payout & a couple of just under 1000x stake , dont think its been changed payout wise though just the function of end game

perhaps dogboy could help with the odds of this slot ? ??

The way I am reading the paytable there are 3 jackpots: Mega (100%), Major (20%) and Minor (10%). You have to bet $5 if you want to win the whole Mega jackpot. But if you play with smaller bets you can win either the Major or Minor depending on your bet size.

    I PLAYED MEGASAUR TODAY----INTERESTING RESULTS

I was playing at JPC with a DB---I thought I'd spend a little time with the new dinosaur in town.

I had $101 when I started and was betting $5.00 per spin---expected to bust out right away, but wanted to see what it was like.

After playing just $150.00 worth (30 spins) I got all five scatters(volcanoes)!
That got me 40 free spins and $1500.00 but no chance at the MegaBonus.

    Megasaur - New RTG abomination: 5 volcanoes_8.23.14.jpg,Aug 24, 2014

The 40 spins netted me just $174.60 (40 spins---27 zeros---no resets of the volcanoes which is what I gather will give one a chance at the Jackpot---not too sure of this---rules are rather strange).

Finally after another $2300 worth of play I got the GUARANTEED FEATURE!---
    WOW---I got a whole 6 extra spins for $57.00!

I now have $1048 to finish making my wager requirement

It is very hard to get screen shots because everything deletes from the screen too fast. It is gone before you can hit the Print Screen button.

Anyway I thought you might be interested in a run down of the game.

    Kind of fun---

Whether you are pro or con on this new game, the guy who developed it for RTG is following this thread. So your comments are falling on the right ears. :D

I see this quite frequently on RTG threads, so you might want to feel assured that RTG is interested in your feedback. Who knows?

This is a crap game IMO.. Also the fact that you cannot see when the feature guarantee is close to being hit is BS. I played and the most I won off a 1.25 was 22.50 in the bonus round..
I wonder how long it will be until they pull this slot and tweak it some because right now it is a waste of money to play!!

    GUARANTEED FEATURE

I still am working on my withdrawal quota so tried Megasaur again.

At first I got almost all zeros and no scatters. I went to other games for awhile and then came back to Meg.
It was a little better in returns this time. I got 3 scatters and got $118.00 from that.

A while later the Guaranteed Feature triggered and needed 25 more spins to get the feature. Lots of Thunder and Lightening---makes for great anticipation!

AGAIN--I got 6 spins------REALLY WORTH WAITING FOR!---that is the same amount that you normally get for 3 scatters. You open the scatters like you do the 'eggs' in T-Rex to see how many spins and like T-Rex 3 scatters are normally 2 each.

So--the Feature is no more that you normally get in the game---I presume it could be but in two times now it has been the same.

The only thing different this time is that for the first 3 spins I got zeroes, then $2 and then 3 scatters---from that 3 scatters I got a little better and ended with $164. for the big feature.

The game is kind of fun, but the Great and Glorious Ending is a big let down.

Just like every other guaranteed feature game. waste of time and money to get to the end of the rainbow and find that you go sucked to an empty pot of gold.
I am really sick of the unimaginative crappy games. If they want to rip off another Dino game, instead of T-Rex, have a look at Jurassic park. That game at least looks fun to play.

PS. Nice hit on the volcano's I hope it did not break your bonus terms if it excluded progressives. I'm guessing this counts as a progressive game like Jackpot piñatas.

    Thanks!
I was playing at Jackpot Capital---they don't exclude progressives.

It is InetBet that does that, but I see that they have a coupon for this one, so I wonder what they will do about that?????

Would this be considered a progressive since it has 3 jackpots hooked to it?

IMO it is a progressive because you have to actually hit something on the reels for it to pay out. As opposed to the random jackpots which occur randomly.
