Had a great night playing Megabucks which is up to almost 8.5 MIL. I cashed out and went to play triple bonus VP. I hit 4 aces back to back once again for 6K a piece and left the casino with 11K. I find the VP hits so much better than online VP even when I'm down the odd time. It seems like you go cold immediately after hitting something big online. Not so in the B&M. If one machine gets cold you just move to another and everything changes. Cheers

Played Megabucks again today and the machines are quite cold. I went to play my favorite VP games and as usual did quite well hitting 4 of a kind twice for 2K each and 4 aces for 6K and finally 4 deuces on bonus deuces for 5K. When the slots are cold I can usually depend on VP at land based casinos only. Cheers

Sorry Juliack, someone won your megabucks yesterday

Woodbridge Woman Breaks The Bank With Record $9M Slots Win
Monday March 24, 2008

While some Ontarians were celebrating Easter with their families this weekend, Woodbridge, Ont. woman Anna Falco was sitting in front of a slot machine at Casino Rama.

It was the best call of her life, as the 53-year-old hit a once-in-a-lifetime jackpot of close to $9 million. The payout of exactly $8,920,622.89 is the largest single slot machine win in Canadian history.

Falco and her husband Franco have played at the Orillia, Ont. casino for a decade. On Saturday she'd put about $200 into one of the Megabucks slot machines and had been playing it for about an hour when it lit up with the big win.

The couple apparently intends to share the winnings with family and friends.

"When we called our two daughters to share the good news, they thought we were kidding. One even called back to make sure we were serious," Falco exclaimed.

Casino Rama president Harry Oshanski had kind words for the couple.

"We're thrilled with this historic win," he said. "The Falcos are longtime customers of Casino Rama and we're delighted to be a part of this life-changing event with them."

Falco's $9 million win beats the previous slot record, set in October 2004 when a tax accountant from Toronto came away with $5.8 million after spending $60 on a Megabucks machine in Niagara Falls, Ont.
