Max Damage and the Alien Attack

I didn't enjoy it, not even enough to compete for a $10 prize. It is confusing, may or may not be a slot, and as far as video games go, not quite as much fun as Space Invaders.

Kudos for trying something different however. You get a kick butt pinball game, I might be in.

no loyalty points?

playing this game awards no loyalty points? i was interested to see how many i got for the games i played yesterday, but it turned out to be none  (10.94 from gameplay total)

Tried it for about 90€, biggest win was around 4€. Fun game but the wins suck :( Then again, I've NEVER won anything in gowild.

Lol, then why play GoWild? Sure, it's microgaming, and microgaming is microgaming is microgaming; so why not try a different software

IMPO this is the biggest steaming pile of.......

Well I think I made my point.

Just totally boring and seemingly impossible to win anything decent on.

I don't like the untamed slots anyway, because you're penalized if you up your bet by losing collected wilds. Surely it affects the TRTP when players do this...?

The problem seems to be that they have had to design all elements of skill out of what is normally thought of as a skill based game format. What you are left with is a game that appears to offer the increase in rewards as you progress through the levels, but does nothing of the sort. This means that it quickly becomes boring.

As a concept, it is a great move by MGS, but their implementation is terrible.

What is worse, they seem to have screwed up it's implementation. It has now emerged MGS have not tied it into the loyalty points scheme. It comes under the same class as scratchcards, is called a kind of slot in the press release, so one would expect slot level loyalty points and 100% contribution to WR.

I suspect the next complaint will be that it hasn't made any contribution to WR, followed by it not causing scores to advance on the Slotsmeister.

The big wins must be there, but very rare. Without such big wins, the game never allows you to go ahead.

Sometimes, new concept games create "emptiers", but I have not found one yet on this:(

If Barcrest had released this and it appeared at the Motorway services, I would be all over it looking for an edge, even an emptier. The last time an oddity appeared, we found it at one services "up North". It was a slot like "penny flick" machine, and me and a friend emptied it on the way up, and again on the way back:p

So what do we actually have here?

The CM collective are a pretty smart bunch but MG have apparently managed to design a game that's so opaque we're still in the dark about.

1) Its RTP
2) Its variance
3) Its paytable

(I mean, come on, those are some pretty important factors, yes?)

4) Does it have any skill element at all?
5) Is it entirely random?
6) Why has it been placed in a strange games category?

I'm almost curious enough to install an MG casino and play it in fun mode to have a look myself, but considering that the Viper client will immediately set about stealthily downloading over 10GB of data to my SSD without asking me if I'm, y'know, happy for it to do that, I'll take a pass.

Hi,

I am having trouble loading 32Red casino today as it kept coming up with error please contact casino support. Yesterday and the day before it loads up fine. I am not sure why. Perhap server is down or either my isp is up to no good again (Typical Optus)

Edited: Well game is loading fine it seems. The only other one like my promotion and my account the one came up with error, news, bank and my account also have problem.

It is fixed, software was rigged with glitch. I had to uninstall, clean out registry, MGS cache etc. And installed clean it works perfectly! I don't mind download again cos I have to have it working properly.

Typical MGS corrupt update that means ALL casinos have to be installed again because the 10 Gig cache has been screwed up. I have to do this a couple of times a year as things get progressively more corrupt as more updates arrive.

Fine if you have unlimited data and 3 days to spare waiting for all your favourite casinos to reinstall and update.

Sucked my dry pretty fast... I was happy when i haven't lost too much after each level... It's interesting, but payout seems very bad :(

I'm very interested to get answers to Chopley's highly relevant questions.

Since Mark from 32Red started this thread and must have most of the answers, maybe he'll want to enlighten us...

Hi Jinn,

I'm afraid I don't have any figures with regards to RTP/Varience and I don't think there is a paytable. But in my opinion (this is not from MG) the game doesn't have any skill factor except the fact that you won't proceed to the next level without some skill. IMO you could stay on Level 1 and the payouts would be the same.

With regards to the 'strange' game category, I think this is one of two reasons. Firstly to showcase an innovative new style of game and secondly to have a seperate section as a 'home' to this style of game.

Sorry I couldn't provide a more accurate answer.

EDIT: Sorry, I've just checked a newsletter regarding this game, the RTP is "between 96% - 97%"

Regards,
Mark

I had a quick go on it - it's MENTAL.

Totally get it though. Destroy a ship = hitting 'spin' at your chosen denomination. Return = zero or number of coins displayed, like a slot.

Good to see software providers trying different/new ideas.

Thanks for that Mark.

Is there any reason that MG aren't being more open with the RTP of this game, and can you explain the 'between' element of the stated RTP? Is this a suggestion that there is a skill element to the game, or are MG just being a bit vague?

As I'm sure you're aware, T-RTP is an absolute figure that can be calculated to as many decimal places as the software provider cares to run to for any truly random game, so I'm intrigued to see MG list this game's RTP as what is effectively a range.

With regards to variance/paytable, obviously the game does have a paytable that it refers to 'internally', even if the player can't see it. It just seems to be a shame that the players have no way of working out what the variance is of the game they're playing, short of lumping many thousands of spins through it.

Max Damage and Alien Attack

Would anybody like to tell me how this is in any way related to a slots game.

Slots games tell you the payout for every possible combination, as this just tells you what is possible for shooting a little spaceship.

Imagine how you would feel if you got a different win for the same combination on a slot game, good effort but I don't think this popular???
