Another one bites the dust

Maria Casino will be closing to UK customers from 7th May, with them inviting players to play at 32Red instead

Thanks for the heads up. Will look into this.

@Jono777 don't worry they have huge poker section and sponsor events and as Colin stated a humongous sports betting section. Loving the latest tournaments here gives extra incentive to play.

If you want me to investigate this please drop me a PM. Sorry you didn’t get a reply to your email, perhaps lost in Cyberspace / Spam!

They aren't on the same licence which is a little strange.

Hi EkJR,

Maria and 32Red are both part of the Kindred group and while 32Red does indeed operate on a different licence for now this will change in the future when we migrate on to the Kindred platform.

Regards
Mark

Ok thanks for clearing that up. Do exclusions get carried from one to the other or is that not currently possible because of the licence restrictions? Just curious as been dealing with a lot of RG stuff lately.

Yes..i know its open forum..i thought the info would be open and transparent also. But clearly not.

Sadly there are many who will use information to attempt to act fraudulently. There is an increase in self exclusion fraud and I’m not going to help increase it even more.

To reiterate what I’ve told you via PM:

- We are required to exclude players on a “per licence” basis. 32Red operates on a separate licence to Maria and Unibet.

- 32Red still operate on a separate platform to Unibet.

- We now operate our exclusion facility across Kindred brands. I don’t know the date we started to do this and I have no interest in finding out to help you with your complaint against us where you have been referred to use a third party arbitration service.

Regards
Mark

There's some interesting stuff there:

1. Worse still, a prominent voice on twitter, gamblinginsight reported last night that search terms entered into Google, such as ‘stopping gambling’ revealed that GVC owned Foxy Bingo and Coral along with Paddy Power, came top of the search.

2. …….wrote an article demanding that UK registered companies should be compelled to reapply for their licences. He specifically made reference to White Label companies, citing that between them they donated just £50 in 2018 to Gambleaware :eek2:

3. Frustrated people with clear evidence of criminality, get ignored by regulator. The regulator that is supposed to enact the key principles of the gambling act;

Yes..i totally agree. Many will attempt fraud. Maybe if you are clear on dates and times of when the exclude crossed over..if at all? Then that would clear up any misunderstanding.
