March Slot Comps - Shaking It Up

Hi folks,

March Slots Comps Now Open At: www.slotjunkies.info.

I'll newsletter this later but here's the lowdown on March comps. There's two new sponsors and also I've decided to shake a few comps up for some variation as you'll see and to experiment with wider options for different "rollers". I'll also be sorting Feb winners this week and sending to the casinos for verification. Slots this month include:

Cleopatras Gold, Sunken Treasure, Fruit Fight (RTG), Kathmandu, Harveys, Thunderstruck, Ladies Nite, Spring Break, Major Millions, King Cashalot (Microgaming), Blade, X-Men, The Hulk, DareDevil, Rapid Fire Jackpots + any Crypto slot (Cryptologic).

Rule Clarification: I've been asked to clarify the minimum bet rule as due to these new "coins" style slots its a tad confusing. Basically look at it like this. Minimum bet is 0.05 credits (1 credit = 1 dollar, pound or euro) per payline, regardless of the slot.

Example: on a 9-line slot like Thunderstruck/Ladies Nite etc, the minimum bet would be 9 x 0.05 (0.45) credits while on a 25 payline slot like Harveys the minimum bet is 25 x 0.05 ($1.25). You must play the maximum paylines on any slot, but can choose your denomination. So you could play 25 paylines on harveys at 0.01c with "5 coins". 5 x 0.01 x 25 = $1.25.

March Competitions

Pretty much all the casino sponsors in Februrary have renewed for March and additionally Spin Palace have joined in and Intercasino have returned after a month out. Some of the prizes have changed too...read on.

The iNetBet's "RTG Multi-Slot" comp is renewed. This time round there are two prizes - the first prize is upped to 300 credits and second prize stays at 100 credits. It was quite a popular competition in it's first month and we're running it on the same games: "Cleopatra's Gold", "Fruit Fight" and "Sunken Treasure".

The Sands Of The Caribbean "Crypto Multi-slot" competition is also renewed with 3 prizes of 250/100 and 50 credits respectively. If you haven't played Crypto slots recently, you might want to take a look as they have vastly improved from a year ago.

Spin Palace have stepped in to take the popular Microgaming "15 Free Spins" slots "Ladies Nite", "Thunderstruck" and "Spring Break" in a single multi-slot competition. Play any one of these 3 slots for a first prize of 250 credits, second prize of 150 credits and third priize of 100 credits.

Intercasino are running a "Marvel Games" multi-slot comp. Play any of "Blade", "DareDevil", "The Hulk" or "X-Men" to win. There's a twist here. While there are 3 prizes of 200/100/50 credits, the first prize also pays out 100x the winning wager up to a massive $1000 (NB: that is dollars rather than credits) so the winner could walk away with up to $1200!

Roxy Palace continue their tradition of taking the new slots by taking on the new "Kathmandu". 15 Free spins with 2x,3x,4x or 5x multipliers on each spin. The 3 prizes are 250/100 and 50 credits respectively.

32Red have assumed the popular "Harveys" mantle this month for their main competition, again with a twist. The 1500 credits prizes are entirely based on the wager. The first prize rewards 100x the winning wager up to 1000 credits and the second prize awards 50x the winning wager up to 500 credits. 32Red are also running the Progressive Challenge again.

The Progressive Challenge at 32Red continues to target "King Cashalot" and "Major Millions" with a 250 credit prize for the best win on each. Additionally and as usual, 30% of the jackpot hit by any Slot Junkies competitor on these two slots gets redistributed among other players who have at that point wagered 750 credits on either of the progressives.

Have fun :D

Cheers

Simmo!

Wow Simmo.....kudos to you!!! Well done!! And WTG on getting Spin Palace to join in, I know that must not have been an easy feat, lol. I'm not sure if or what I can play this month, but it sure looks like fun.

Brilliant news! Well done Simmo!

The x wager prize is a great idea as well, suits everyone!

Ladies Nite at Spin Palace... Oh hell!

More to the point though, where's my winnings from February? Eh? Eh? Eh? Come on Simmo - sort it out man, it's over TEN HOURS into March, and nothing!!!! Disgraceful, sort it out man

Yeah slack or what :D

The prizes will be perfectly safe. I have stored them all in a high-security depot near Tonbridge in Kent. I'll nip down and withdraw it for you all tomorrow :D

 I like it!

Good work on the March competitions

OK, enough of the nice stuff - back to Moaning Myrtle mode:-
I can understand you are very exited about getting the March comp details up ASAP, but couldn't you at least wait until the afternoon of the first day?
Can you understand how frustrating it is to go to bed on the last day of the month with your name up on the leader-board - get up extra early next day to turn on your PC and see... nothing!
I wanna know if I'm still there!

I tried looking for the final standings on your Slot Junkies site - but no luck.
All I can find is the results from December! :eek2: (And even that seems to have got some results missing!)

Where/how can we find the (provisional) final standings for February?

LOL - my programming inefficiency :-) I'll update that but there is a temporary tech fix...in the URL when you open up the December page, change the "mon" to 02 and the "year" to 2006 ;)

Well slap my thigh with a wet fish

 That's a new one to me Simmo, lol.

BTW....I meant to tell you, Tim is just too busy working and he said for me to tell you that I can have his Thunderstruck win from 32Red for last month....lmaoooo. :D

Can't wait til he reads that, lol.

I'm sure we can work something out for those credits Pinababy! ;)
We'll discuss it more in detail when I get up there to Canada.

ps. prepare to be ravaged!

I'm bowing out this month due to the extremely sh*tty games that were selected for the competetions at 32Red. Three months in............... three months 1st place on T-Struck! I'll retire as champ until one of my games comes around again! Good luck to all!

Actually Tim, the first month was Spring Break....I only remember because you knocked me out with only a few hours remaining.

You still owe me for that, and I intend to collect as soon as you get here. :D

thought you'd have been well up for goin' at $1,000 at $10 a shot too m8!

Where was December's Thunderstruck comp Simmo? Was it Roxy?

Still Tim, two months in a row isn't bad...and you won the December comp for Spring Break, so really three months - two different games. :notworthy

Hmmm... Now you put it into perspective!!...

Problem is, I play in GBP at 32RED, so I always lose out. I.e - I'd have to play at £10, but only get about £560. Similarly, I'm expecting about £170 for winning last months Major Millions (actually - thinking about it - I did win it didn't I - forgot to check!!) so it's a bit different for me.

Not complaining at all! It's just because I choose to play in GBP because I'm easily confused! I signed up to Roxy in dollars exclusively for the SJ comps!

You did win yes. But you're missing something: all the comps bar Intercasino's $1,000 bonus are in "credits". So you bet £, you win £. You win £, you buy me a drink :D

cjb: Sounds like fighting talk to me :D

Woo hoo!! Harveys here I come! Incidentally - Can last months MM Prog comp be in credits too then please :D

I stand corrected! :notworthy You're right Pina! It was Spring Break the first month. I will be trying Harvey's a little bit here and there, but it seems to pay like Cashville.... which is a million losers and one huge winner. I don't like those kinds of slots. I can't get a bonus round in Harvey's to save my life. Golden Goose games have become that way too. My bread+butter slots are the 9-liners w/15 spin bonus rounds tripled.

I'm glad to hear everyone is whining about Harverys at 32RED. Goodie for me...I love it and it has been good to me everywhere but at Roxys that is. I'm first on the board, nothing big yet but give me the weekend!!HeHe!

Hey guys! Is everything going to be 100X your bet for first place from now on?

No no Tim...just throwing some different ideas into the mix. There are some standard comps, some comps with higher prizes, one with a 100x multiplier and a base prize and one with just 100x/50x multipliers. Just trying different things out to make it more interesting for all types of player.
