Manual Flushing/Locking Withdrawals at Rizk

Great move Rizk. I applaud you for that. No bullshit indeed.

On a side note. How is this feature affecting the subscore of "Reverse time" in the casino rating system?

Reverse Time
The reverse time is the amount of time that your funds are available to be reversed from pending withdrawal to playable. In other words it's how long you have until you cannot play your winnings back. The shorter time the better. This is how it works:
0 hrs - highest
1 - 12 hours - high
13 - 24 hours - medium
25 - 48 hours - low
+48 hours - lowest

So if a withdrawal request is processed in 2 hours it will be available for a reversal for 2 hours still, but it's obviously not as bad as a casino that doesn't offer the "locking withdrawals" facility. If a player directly locks his withdrawal it effectively has no reverse time. IMHO the locking withdrawals facility is good enough to lower the reverse time to 0 for Rizk. Your thoughts?

With the option to lock its up to the player to set the reverse time to 0 and as that option is there i also think it should reflect 0 in the scoring

I have a very quick question for Captain Rizk - Once you click 'Lock' does that mean it is locked until the money hits the players account? I see there is a 'cancel' button next to 'Lock', just wondering what that does.

I concur with other posters that this move is very smart by Rizk and other casinos NEED to follow your lead, as the whole Reverse withdrawal option is something that infuriates a lot of players.

I would guess that 'Cancel' in this case means reverse, IE cancel the withdrawal. I think I read that once you click 'Lock' then all 'buttons' will disappear and it will simply show 'Awaiting Approval'

I thought that might be the case, as otherwise it would be a little bit pointless having the lock.

Yes exactly what Jon said! Where you see Cancel/Lock in the second image, that is before you have clicked lock. Once you have "Locked" your withdrawal, the status becomes "Waiting approval" - as you can see for the first transaction in the list of that image.

Hope that makes sense.....

I know the buck stops with the player but this tool *would* have saved me a couple of grand at least. They were last seen scattered to the four winds

This feature is going to save players a lot of money and stress, and can even have life-changing repercussions for those unable to normally control their gambling urges.

Most commendable is how Rizk have taken it upon themselves to introduce this when they could have just sat back and waited for others to act first. Or even not at all. We musn't forget that they're likely to take a sizeable financial hit based on this gesture and I think it's a very selfless act on their behalf.

11/10 :)

Tell me about it, lost over 20K in pending withdrawals last year at numbercolor  .... and this year when i started using TAB they conveniently removed it.

Responsible Gaming means to me to allow the player to be in control of his gaming, be it the amounts deposited, the point to stop and withdraw etc. Rizk is now the one and only online casino that gives the player full control from the beginning (depo, loss limits) to the end of his session (lock withdrawal), no questions asked, no forms to fill out, no emails to be sent, no CS to be spoken to...just plain control of his account. Period!

And that is what i expect from a modern casino.

Exactly that. One casino removes flushing altogether and makes TAB difficult whilst being really obtuse, whilst another listens to its player base and acts accordingly. Best reaction I've seen on here since I joined and am glad to have witnessed it!

As we all know, reversing is only there for the casino's benefit. Wonder how many value profit margins over helping players, now that the cat has been let amongst the pigeons hehe

"We have decided to continue implementing the Reversal facility to benefit the player and give them full control over their funds"

Yeah you know who you are!!:mad:

Credit where credit is due, but that is not quite right. Every casino without a pending period is at least equally good in that regard. Betat or Royalpanda for example. In fact these are even slightly better, because you don't even have to "lock" your withdrawal because it's instantly flushed.

Yes you are right Hedge...... however, i was more referring that with Rizk's approach the player is in complete control.

Yes, I will update my site with this info - it's great that the customer gets the choice. Obviously the rank of this is as follows:

1. Instant automated payments no reverse period like say P.Power/Sky Vegas 10/10
2. NO reverse facility but payments maybe not instant but within a few hours say Grosvenor 9/10
3. Not instant and can be reversed but quick payments in minutes-hours and LOCK facility i.e. Rizk 8.5/10
4. Not instant but very quick minutes-few hours but can be reversed say Redbet 8/10
5. Not instant but within 24 hours and reversible no weekends/flush/lock say Spin Genie 6.5/10
6. Not instant and reversible not paid at weekends with a minimum 24 hours say 32red 5/10
7. Not instant and reversible no weekends 48-hours pending say other Viper sites 4/10
8. Not instant and reversible 72 hours no weekends say 888.com 3/10
9. Not instant 96-hours pending no flush/weekends say Playtech-only sites 1/10
10. Any unnecessarily delaying wankers/rogues and shysters >96 hrs. 0.5/10

I personally opt to play at sites in the top 5 here, nothing less. This is a great step in the direction of players being paid fairly and left in full control. It also counteracts the argument of slow-paying sites when they peddle the old BS "It's for customer convenience to save re-depositing blah blah" when we full well know exactly why they do it, for a 20-30% retrieval of cash-outs...:rolleyes:

It's nice when a casino comes on here and LISTENS to the players and then acts to benefit them and tailors the product accordingly as opposed to gleaning a weakness and using it against the players.

After all the darkness recently with the scam Netent software and plethora of dodgy sites being exposed this thread is positive one.

It also demonstrates how sites like Rizk/Videoslots deservedly sit so high in the casino scores and actually give a toss about staying there too.
