A recent PAB elicited an unfortunate response from Mansion Casino: they officially stated, and confirmed, that they will not discus player issues with third parties (like us). This is to be their policy regardless of what the player's wishes may be.

This comes as a bit of a surprise because we have been able to discuss and resolve player complaints with them in the past, but it seems that is no more. Effective immediately their position is this: "we do have a complaint policy in place where all disputes are being reviewed and resolved through the GRA." This is the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority. Unfortunately the staff at Mansion seem to be working with outdated information because the GRA site's Gambling section has the following posted:
Gambling Division incorporated into the Ministry of Finance
The regulation of the gambling industry in Gibraltar no longer falls under the remit of the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority.

The staff of the GRA's Gambling Division has been incorporated into the Gambling Division of the Ministry of Finance. The new joint Division, coming under the Ministry of Finance, will deal with both licensing and regulatory matters.

Either way the downside for our readership is that we won't be able to accept Pitch-A-Bitch cases concerning Mansion for the foreseeable future. Needless to say if and when the casino's position changes we'd be happy to revisit this.
