Major tom shut down and moves players to red flush

Yeah, just received the same email. Wonder why?

I never understood why casino groups buy several licenses of the same software and then exploit them under different names on different websites.

It's not like a player would ever say something like "well, there's no way that I'd play at La Vida but I'll sure play at this Major Tom casino!".

No big surprise really - even though they only opened 18 months ago.
The owners merged them into the Fortune Lounge Group and made the strange decision (IMO) to NOT get a UK license - I can only see further shrinkages for this group in the future.

Yep, agree with Kasino King here. Where most online casinos are diversifying their range of slots and games, many of these Microgaming casinos are stuck with just the same selection. Players have shown that they want to play IGT, Bally, Aristocrat, NetEnt, Playtech and many more - they want to pick and choose, not be stuck with Thunderstruck and Tombraider.

When you offer online gambling and you don't have access to US players, UK players and a bunch of other European players due to various local laws (Germany, Italy and France I think?) then you sure are making it hard to succeed. There's not much money left other than smaller nordic countries, Australia and Canada.

Other than that, you have to deal with fraudsters' paradise such as most of Asia, Africa, Russia and some parts of Eastern Europe. So I agree that not getting a UK license these days is almost a death sentence.

Just had this in my inbox

Does this mean, that the whole Red Flush Group is joining the fortune lounge group?
I am losing the overview :what:

We've had this discussion before somewhere. Major Tom IS a RF casino (or was when I played there!) and perhaps they are condensing the number of players they have into fewer sites. The answer's somewhere in between South Africa and Vinyl..:D

Seems so, email from RF yesterday:

We are extremely excited to announce that from 23 April 2015, Red Flush Casino will be joining the world renowned Fortune Lounge Group of Online Casinos.

I have a pending withdrawal at Major Tom Casino.
Today I got a phone call from an Fortune Lounge agent telling me that my funds have been reversed to my (new) account at Red Flush and that I need to withdraw it again. So far so no problem.

The interesting part is - I asked the guy if Major Tom (and the Red Flush group) is part of Fortune Lounge now. He said that it's actually the other way around - so the Fortune Lounge group is part of the Red Flush group now.

Can anybody confirm that? This would mean that I have 2 active accounts in one casinogroup which I usually try to avoid.

Hi hedgehok

Clearly a very confused agent (who I will deal with).

Red Flush and Casino La Vida are now part of the Fortune Lounge Group.

My apologies for the confusion.

The day of casinos only having one variety of slots like MG are over. Casinos like Videoslots, Slotsamillion and Guts who carry all the games have taken over. Just look at the changes at 32Red:eek: in the past year.It was the number 1 casino in past years but the multi game casinos came on board and have taken over. You will see many more MG casinos closing down in the next year.

Times changes and if you don't change with them, you will be left in the dust. Just ask Kodak as they have filed for bankruptcy.
