Hello I am new here.

I won 16,000 euros on magical spins with my favorite slot dead or a wild.

After talking with support every day it was all fine and I sent in all my verifications on March 20th until I couldn't log into the site anymore as my country is not blocked.

I received this email from them.

Fair enough, but casinos have been known to retrospectively change terms, or missing information in them, in order to justify non-payment of players. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the case here, once they realized Norway wasn't excluded in their terms and a player wanted 16k, they quickly remedied their 'error'.

They are capable of blocking countries based on your IP adress. If your using a VPN to circumvent it you know your going to be next upon verification. However if they allow you to register, deposit and play while clearly coming from a banned or not-permitted country, you know it stinks, because they know they make money on your actions even tho your not allowed by their own TOS.

Do your homework, if you have doubts email them first before you even think of playing.

Here we go again, unbelievable the power online casinos have. Deposit = possible but when you win big suddenly you are not allowed.
No pay only indicates the size of the casino :) Especially if its a non swedish/uk/mga licensed casino.

Imagine you lose and its "sorry no refunds"

There's quite some thread of folks who won in the 100k's and got their account banned. There's nothing you can do because initially these folks broke the TOS.

I was in a discord group where the usual suspects of casino's where promoted. The general advise was, as long as you do not withdrawal more then 10k you shoud'nt be suspect.

Come'on.... I've done a withdrawl of nummerous times even in the 60k's up to 140k's with ZERO issues and processed / on my account within 2 working DAYS! This is why it's so important to stick with legal casino's in your district.

Is there something that I can do on this website to receive my winnings back. I was clearly able to make an account from Norway and they suddenly blocked the entire country after I made a win just last week.

Do you have any recommendations on what I can do next in order to resolve this. I played fair and thus I believe that i should get my funds.

Thank you.

Looks like they changed their ToS after your win.
Yep. A look at the internet archive shows the changes since 2022.

In the new version they've also added a paragraph about France as well as mentioning France in the 'banned' list. That and mentioning Curacao twice shows they're just adding countries and paragraphs as they go along.
I'm not pedantic about the English language but when I see websites as poorly written as this, not just casinos, I avoid the company as they're clearly amateurs. It doesn't cost much to hire a proof-reader which, if you're serious about being in business, is something that is a no-brainer in my opinion.

The issue is C&P generic terms which are simply duplicated, edited where appropriate to accommodate the different casino name witout actually checking what the rest says. The Cup-o-cocoa sites are a classic example.

Yes, They did and then don't want to pay me. I am filing a complaint and I will get paid. This is not fair. How can you sign up, deposit and get verified on chat and then they take the funds?

Well at least they are offering you your deposits back. There are casino's out there they will close your account and wimp you off with a extremely vague reason.

It's just a business model and the way they are doing it just stinks. I register on casino's where i'm from and i'm confronted with KYC before i can even place a bet. Once i proceed from this stage i'm free to go as i please.

I am sorry I didn't know that CasinoMeister had a Complaint section. I will know that for the next time. It's really frustrating and I am just trying to get my money back in anyway possible. This is life changing money for me :(

Hello,

Just wanted to share an update. Also please see attached the current terms on the website stating NORWAY is not on the banned list.

This is the reply I got from MagicalSpin -

"Hi,
Despite Norway being on the banned list, the player was able to deposit using Bitcoin. The player provided us with a screenshot of our old terms and conditions, which did not include Norway in the banned list. However, we have not updated our terms since March 1st, 2023, so it's likely that the screenshot is from the past. We requested that she send us the complete screenshot, but she did not respond.
Please be aware that Magical Spin is not in possession of a Norwegian Gambling License and therefore cannot accept the documents that the player provided as proof of being a Norwegian resident due to newer regulations.
