New Slot Announcement Machina Megaways by Kalamba 337x Feature Buy!

337x is just stupid and i guess u really need those more spins to have a decent chance at unlocking all symbols.

But this is live on MrGreen atleast in denmark so suppose everywhere :D

had a bash on this yesterday, few spins in feature came in. paid me about 600 x stake

It looks like the minimum buy in would be an utter waste of money because the chances of winning much on it would be negligible and it would produce a very poor gaming experience

It's at Unibet too apparently.
Get ready to extend your overdrafts people!:eek2:

It would be interesting to see the results of 10 bonus rounds in a row on minimum buy in

Thank you
It does not look very tempting or profitable, does it? I am pleased that I set my max wagering limit below the minimum buy it amount for these slots so I will never be tempted again.
There has to be a point when these feature buy in slots either get banned or the desire for them hits the floor

This is actually shocking for my (admittedly very small) sample. 20% of them gave a tiny profit of less than 10% of the cost, 80% either paid a half or quarter of it.

As Harry said, the results are better on the insane buy-in. So when word spreads that this is the case, you have players who are going to be suckered in to frankly stupid stakes. IMO the lower-end buy-in is a totally facile proposition and should be avoided always.

Just tried it in demo mode on Casumo. Two Feature buys at 60p (18 spins). First one got a profit of around £10, the second a loss of about £300.

Feature is boring as hell; extra spins only, no multipliers.

Not worth real cash.

If your results are typically replicated for players on this slot and other slots to follow I can easily see them being the next target for the UKGC and other bodies for to become banned.
If that is the case could we possibly see casino's in untouchable jurisdictions be the only ones providing such slots? If so that could be a double whammy for those addicted to playing such slots?

That would be a nightmare scenario, a double whammy for those particular players.

If it costs 52x, it's going to pay on average about 50x or 51x, pretty simple. The variance is tougher to judge, but relative to the feature cost, I would guess the 10x spins is higher variance than the 18. What I mean by that, is you're probably more likely to turn a $30 (10 spin) feature into $120 than a $200 (18 spin) feature into $800. But you'll also lose 70% of your purchase price more often on the 10 spin one.

337x cost for a feature is pretty hilarious, but at that point you might have to stop thinking of it in terms of bet size and just think of it as a $200 gamble.

The weirdest part of the slot might be those jackpots - can someone confirm how they work? Are they true sitewide or server wide progressives, do they change to completely different jackpots with a higher betsize? The bottom 2 jackpots are going to be hit constantly, but the top one might be harder. Seems kind of odd to have progressive jackpots that get hit constantly.

.60 minimum bet is also pretty high, don't see why they wouldn't let low rollers in for 30c per spin - rounding issues I guess, but the slot could have been designed with very slightly different numbers.

The jackpots are fixed for your slot, like WMS' Wishing You Fortune, but they do rise as you play so obviously a small amount of your RTP is included in them. They are paid on the top symbol being scattered in the bonus or base game, naturally more likely in the feature. I can't be assed to go back into again, I think it's 16 or 18+ in view (which you'll need the reel rows to be sufficient for too) to get the gold. Could be 20, I dunno offhand.

Hm, so does that mean that you're basically sacrificing a small amount of RTP that you "contribute" to those jackpots until you hit them? Looks like that might be a few % left on the table if you never hit a good feature. Not really a fan of that type of design, tempts you to keep playing until you get your "contributions" back. Since that's all that it really is, you're paying 2-4% per spin to those jackpots and then when you finally hit them it's just your own money being returned.

They could just as well have made those scatter payouts at a slightly higher than base price and kept the same RTP if they wanted, but seems like a way to lock you into playing.

What is this slot provider thinking, it is just ridiculous that this kind of buy ins make it through all the regulations...
Responsible gaming out of the window...
Maybe add the anonymous gamblers telephone number on the pay table of this slot...
