So I had £2 as cashback sitting there. After some lucky lowrolling wins and mixing things up I get to £80.

I proceed to lose my bankroll after a few hours, and of course I kick myself.

So at what point do you consider withdrawing from a free chip? Would you have stopped at £80 or carried on thinking that the slots were playing well and gone for it?

I would have aimed for $100.

If it goes downhill quickly i would stop at 50 and think what to do. Sometimes i blow the lot, sometimes i withdraw.

But only if I started from a very low value like 2-5$, if it was more than i would try to build it up higher.

I would have stopped at 50 because most of my deposits are 50 and so I would have a deposit for free:thumbsup:

I had a wager free 15 Euro chip from Rizk yesterday.
Played raping rhino on 40 and 80 cent bets and I went up to about 140 euro.
But the rhino was throwing decent wins at me and was so much teasing me with a huge hit with rhino's I nearly believed it was about to hit.
Of course that didn't happen and I played it back to 0.

Had a great 2.5 hour session and it cost me nothing but I should have cashed out some too in all fairness.
Even if I would have taken 50 Euro.

No way I'd have blown the full £80

Defo would have banked £50, left £30 and then if got back to £80 took another £50, rinse and repeat etc.

Love 'free' withdrawals better than the 'real thing' lol

Do, or do not! There is no try!

Amen brother !!

Of cors , you DO something, if You're certain about what's gonna happens and positive about the result of your act.
you TRY : in case you do'nt know Whether your action is guaranteed of success Or not. ( u may hit a big win , Or Not )

It's just part of old Roman literature. So , No hard feelings bcuz u got my vote !!

I had actually set £100 as my target, and things were going chipper at £84. There seemed no reason to stop! This false dawn scenario has happened a lot this week and this was supposed to be a tickety-boo session.

That's the thing isn't it, you're at say £50, so why withdraw it if the slots are playing well. You're here and now, so why bother waiting to redeposit elsewhere?

Mind you, you could eke out several bonuses with that so I guess it all depends on discipline and how much playtime one wants

Good point .

Can'nt speak for everyone. But most gamblers I've spoken to (or have met) in recent years, want to play as long as possible and eventually end up with win ( enjoy spinning as long as possible ).
However, that is not the way of gambling for players who play to win. profit is their main goal. it does'nt matter to them how long they spining.

haveing said that. No matter which way you do it, no one can be certain of the result in this business an knowing how he's gonna end up. ( an that's the ugly part of it )

Very true. An often-overlooked point is that there are several types of gamblers that all employ their own way of playing.

To some, entertainment and pretty graphics mean little to them, or even playtime. It's usually "thankyou & goodnight". They play hard and fast.

I look towards the long game and so in effect £80 would fund a long high-variance session, and is quite a decent bankroll for a lowroller. In fact I probably squeezed six or seven hours out of it.

Perhaps therein lies the problem with my skewed approach towards these types of games. As proven, you can be on £2 one minute and twenty minutes later have £80 on sub- 90p bets! As I found out though, it often works both ways :(

Of course I'm still looking for a spectacular withdrawal, and 45p bets will likely never achieve that. But I'd never have the balls to do £5 or £10 bets with £80. I'd lose my hair on the spot!

Time to eat my words...

Got my Slotsmeister up to nearly a tonne (although had not done WR at that point) and have now lost the lot

£4 free at Next Casino, up to £30 in no time at all, back to £15 and heading for a bust also.

....and tonight's deposit, which I have that little faith in before I've even made it, considering skipping it and having an early night :)

So Jon tell me, did you stick to one or two favourites to get it to £100? If so, there was little reason to hop between games right. Perhaps when sliding back down from my balance I would sometimes consider switching.

I swear I used to be a better slots player, I hardly ever swap games nowadays! I'll pick one or two and bludgeon them into paying, then I slowly up bets. Back then I'd hop between games like a deranged flea but the it wasn't all roses back then either :(

Overall I believe that I've got better at bankroll management (ironic, given the topic) and knowing when to increase/ decrease betsizes.

My Achilles Heel is truly recognizing and acknowleding a game's peak and demise. I tend to cross my fingers and hope now more than anything else!

Perhaps I should just hark back to keeping one betsize, win a bit, move on, cash out at a set amount. Best to stop trying to second-guess slot behaviours :cool:

Believe it or not that was about 80% built up from £32 (SB) to £99.80 on Immortal R!

Last night I decided to quit and go to bed with £90 in balance with around £100 to Wager.

Returned today and hit feature quick although only paid 40x, ate it back and switched to JP.

Hit a quick bonus (12x) which then told me what was in store for the rest of this session

In summary about 3 games got me from 32 to 90 (mainly IR as mentioned) but then I played about 7-8 trying to build back up (Thunderstruck I - 5OAK Hammer Handle for £30 being the highlight)

All as cold as ice (as they always are most Friday's (usually 100% day but that's a story for another thread, another time :p) and busted with very little action across all games)

lol , tell me about it.
I know a crazy lad, each time he is on the slots, he hits the spin butt with his thumb. He just does'nt use any other finger an << that's the way to go and win >>, he says. LMAO,lol

for me, be disciplined to not deposit more than you are prepared to lose and at the same time, once you get your chances don't be afraid to take risks.
Each on his own !!
But i do believe, no matter how you gamble, stay on the same strategy (in terms of you'r deposit and play style) could be a crucial key to ur succes.

At the end of the day, If it's ur Lucky day, you gonna win. just few yrs ago a kid won about 5 Miljon w a spin of 25 cents on Mega Moolah . (can't remember what year it was. 2005/2006). Not sumthing happens everyday but ,that's also possible in this cruel business.

WE ALL SUFFERING !!:)

If I deposit $50 and get up to $100 I play on but if I get up to $200 I withdraw most of the time.

I just say to myself only play $10 more and another 10 won't hurt and that's when I lose slowly down to zero. Bad mistake lol

Being on a good roll doesn't last long so I think its better to cash out while you're ahead :)

Don't know where you were playing but most free chips have some kind of cap on how much you can win. So i would have most propably cashed out at 80$ mark. If there is no max cash out then i would have propably continued to play.
